Far and away the best issue of this series and really hope it just took MacKay some time to find his footing. No cringy repeated jokes or characters acting out of character. Diaz's art also elevates the book so much with the character looking more like themselves and not cartoony kids. I really hope this is a turning point for the series.

This was a very ruff year for the Bat comics but this issue was the most offensive to what was done to Leslie here. Amazing editorial let this fly let alone anyone thought this was a good idea.

DC should be embarrassed to allow such bad writing for Catwoman let alone Batman!

I can easily say this was the worst issue of a comic I've ever read. I am a huge fan of most of what Bendis did at Marvel from Jessica Jones, Avengers, and even X-Men runs but it's as he's since his move to DC his books have just been getting worse to the point that they're now just unreadable. I read through DC Universe so reading an issue is free but can no longer waste my time or deal with the aggravation of this run.

"Some things are just a bad idea" the perfect quote from the issue which defines the entire mess of a story Dan Water has written his whole run. Great art but this story is so awful that I have to drop this after the next issue's conclusion for my own sanity. Nightwing deserves so much better than this.

I've been loving most the X books of the Krakoa era so was so disappointed with this. Was a true drudge just to get through and a shame cuz I love these characters but looks like I'll be skipping this one from here on out.

Wow, this was bad. I was very optimistic for Zeb Wells' run but this issue makes me very nervous. Inferno was great for being a serious story with goofy elements but this shows Dark Web is trying to capture that but is failing by going so cheesy goofy even in the villains portrayals that there's no story to be invested in.

Wells never created a valid reason for Ms. Marvel to be shoehorned in this series and further didn't even include her in meaningful conversations to make her part of the story. Marvel editorial's agenda for a money grab to cash in on some attention and then change her to a mutant later on, is so transparent it's embarrassing. Meanwhile Spider-Man fan just keep taking the abuse. Struggling to even continue reading even via Marvel Unlimited.

DC has a HUGE editorial problem and this story is a perfect example.

If only the purpose of the tie in was to explain that the whole Titans Academy story took place on another earth as I don't recognize these versions of the Titans.

I finished this series trying to be positive cuz I love Rene but this was one of the dumbest comics I've read with so many resolutions that made no sense at all. I'm very concerned for Segura's upcoming Star Wars run.

The art is amazing but the writing is so bad. I struggled to barely keep reading through Zeb Wells run but this was just so clunky with awful banter and character writing that I'm done. Once marvel cares enough to give their biggest book a worthy writer, I'll come back to finally be able to enjoy reading my favorite marvel character again.

I've read all Avengers issues since 2004 but will no longer read Avengers until Aaron is gone as this is just unacceptably awful and I read on Marvel Unlimited!

Officially the last Tom King book this guy will ever be reading.

I really like Kelly Thompson but this book is ruff. Don't understand all the love this book's getting.

Wish Ram V would just go write Orgham Comics somewhere else so we can have someone write Batman stories on Detective. The previous runs by Tamaki and Thomasi weren't great but way more enjoyable than this never-ending run.

This was the most boring story I've read in a long time. I really hope DC doesn't elevate AL Ewing to one of the main books as most of them seem to be in a good place and he'll just drag things down.

This series has really struggled ever since Grayson left the book. I was optimistic for Thomasi's stretch as he does a solid job with capturing the characters and their relationships but the story isn't great which is a common trend I notice with him. My biggest problem with this issue is that Nightwing straight up kills the bad guy by having him get blasted by lightning and it's totally glossed over. He was devastated over feeling he allowed Blockbuster's death so this issue just really felt off base.

I'm a huge Nightwing fan but this series just keeps getting more painful to read. The dumb concepts were bad enough but all the Killer Moth "jokes" made me physically cringe.

I liked North's FF run but have been struggling with this event but this reveal that Doom is sacrificing the people of Latveria to make the world better is garbage and totally goes against the character. Just another example of how awful Marvel has become and a lack of good editorial staff. This would have been fine if it was any other nation but Doom is all about his people and only his people so sacrificing them to help other nations is just awful and so disappointing to see how low the Marvel line has become.

Such a shame that the sad state of Marvel has fallen upon the Star Wars books too. This should be such an exciting time for Star Wars comics finally diving into new territory with the original series crew yet we're given a below average writer telling the most bland story with all generic new characters. The only decent moment was Valance sparing Han from killing the villain. Completely apathetic to everything happening and really hope Marvel Star Wars gets their house in order to restart stories in this era with a talented new creative team.

This was a decent series that just really fell of the rails come War for Earth 3. Shame these last two issues were just nonsense.

I used to love Tom Taylor and held out hope he'd come to a satisfying end here but man what a waste of time. Not only do we not a get a satisfying conclusion to Jon or Injustice Superman's stories, but the whole issue felt like Tom Taylor apologizing for his Injustice work when anyone with a brain accepted it was an Elseworld's story. Nightwing started out great until it just became the perpetual "Nightwing is awesome" series without resolving major plots, his Jon Kent work's been ok, and Teen Titans has so far been disappointing with the writing quality of an average digital first. Shame he couldn't keep up the magic he brought to the table on Injustice, Unkillables, and the DCeased digital spin off.

Another drag of a boring issue further making a joke of the phoenix force and our loved characters with pointless fights and cliché tropes of characters saying things that feel off base for what we know of them. I was really liking the beginning of Aaron's run and was pumped to see where it was leading but the Moon Knight issues really seemed to be a bore and this arc has been especially brutal. Hoping we can get back to some better stories once this arc is finally over with.

Jeff Loeb is one of my favorite Batman writers but this story if awful. Just a huge mess of character regression for each of the Bat-family members and the in family fighting is so played out.

Continues this awful story with characters acting ridiculous for no reason. Continuity issues aside, this story would be just as bad if it were an else world series. Only saving grace is Lee's art and parts of the interaction with Catwoman.

This runs been so brutally repetitive and boring which continues here but I give him some credit for a few nice lines and at least moving the story forward (or so I hope).

I was trying to be optimistic after a bad first issue but this one was just jarring and is a clear drop. A shame that post Hickman some of the new phase writers are very sub-par and it's back to the days of being selective in what X-books are worth reading.

I've been patiently optimistic for this story but I've totally lost interest and find this book is relying far too much on style over substance.

Amazing art but painfully boring story of characters that we have no connection to that were just as boring in their future state story.

The Dark Web crossover was atrocious and completely ruined Limbo just making it a complete joke. Now bringing that awful story and characters back into the series just continues to drag this series down after being on a decent pace of late. Zeb Wells thinks his "clever" Bizarro Spider-Man character Rek-Rap is a hilarious hit, but is proving he should not be given the chance to write series for Marvel's top characters and should be kept for books like Deadpool.

McKay really needs to spend some time slowing down and focus on character work which is what he's best at. Each issue has been quickly losing steam due to nonstop end of the world threats but having most of this issue be just a dream was really lame. The art was great and still keeping faith McKay finds his groove.

Super disappointing series

A generic dark story with heavy narration that felt like what a 12 yar old would whip up to be edgy.

The cringe dialogue and narration were pretty jarring to get through.

I used to like PJK but hiss continually over drawn out stories have finally beat me down to accept that it's all he's going to offer. This elder story has gone on for so long that it's lost any sense of urgency or intrigue that no matter what happens, I'm just unable to care at this point. I was enjoying the the monster of the week style due to the amazing art and even as that went on I kept reading for Charlie as she's a great character. I suppose that's what's most frustrating is that PJK is capable of being a fantastic character writer and has a strong passion and knowledge for the characters he writes but the over drawn out pacing is just killing his stories for me. I'm really liking his Batman and Robin as his character work with Damien is phenomenal and I'm just praying editorial (though also lacking at DC) keeps in on track to create tighter stories.

Nightwing deserves a much better writer than what we've been getting here.

This is actually a perfectly fine issue in itself to end the story, however the previous issues were so awful and the unforgivable decision for North and editorial to have Doom enslave/harvest the people of Latveria to rule the rest of the world just makes this issue and its fairy tale narration painfully eye rolling. This all could have worked had Doom harvested another nation but doing it to Latveria completely breaks the character and all his previous history. The ending with Val would have worked perfectly otherwise.

They've stretched this era out too far and these latest stories are bad. This book has was never as good a Gillen's run but was still good enough but starting with the Sabe storyline it's been on a steep downward trend.

This run has been so disappointed and I will no longer read it unless their a change in writers. Aphra is the best new character we've got from the Star Wars comics and I just hope this awful run doesn't tarnish her name or hurt the character's popularity going forward.

Cute enough but this really should have been an annual.

Man this issue was painfully boring. The whole moving the whole population off planet from KO is ridiculous enough that the less explanation the better so it's a shame this series had to get bogged down with a tie in issue to explain the process. Way too much unnecessary text and can't wait for the series to get back to it's own story. All that said, I really liked the scene with Tera & Raven so there was at least one moment worth reading.

I liked the previously released back ups in the Wonder Woman issues but the new story is bad with awful character portrayals.

The story is just boring and Gambit’s narration is painful to read. This future story just feels corny.

Huge step down in quality for both writing and art. It feels like the writer's of this current phase of X-Men just don't have the voice of the characters down and reading X-Men comics has become a chore.

All of the characters' voices felt so off and all dialogue felt forced to provide generic quippy banter that just didn't work. I really liked all MacKay's Black Cat and Moon Knight issues but so so far his Avengers and X-Men writing has this same issue of feeling very generic.

I'm a big Kelly Thompson fan for most of her books but this issue was just such nonsense full of terrible "jokes" for what should have been a big issue with healthy Peter back to work with Ben.

Great art in general but the story and dialogue are brutally corny. Only issue with the art is how he seems to lean into the goofiness of the story. It's so disappointing that Marvel not only allows but embraces Wells run that doesn't take the title seriously. This feels like a goofy digital comics not the main series. Marvel's been struggling mediocre titles trying to be "fun" that just play off corny.

This issue is so rushed and all over the place that it takes away any sense of suspense or shock to the poor reveals. The issue further destroys all interesting plot points that were developed and has the biggest lack luster reveal at the end. Looking back, this series never really established a solid identity and looks like its heading for a disappointing conclusion. Its a shame as I was a huge fan of Zdarsky's Daredevil and The Knight but find he failed to deliver on many of the cool ideas he presented in his Batman run.

Way too many characters involved so there really wasn't enough time to really have fun or get any fun moments. That said it was still a decent enough read where these things are usually much worse.

This is as basic Jason/Joker as it gets and exactly what you'd expect.

DC vs Vampires feels like the Earth 3 to DCeased. DCeased was ok but it was the side books that were amazing and seems we're getting the inverse here.

Can't wait until this run is over.

The art is great but this story keeps dragging on to nowhere. This run could have potentially been good in 12 issues tops but it just keeps slowing going on continuing the same beats.

Rather than find a character's voice, Si Spurrier just decides to impose his voice into the characters he's writing and it's extremely jarring and pretentious. This is why I tend to avoid his work but I gave him a fair shot as I love Wally. Lesson learned that Spurrier just can't help himself and I'll stick to avoiding his work from now on regardless of how much I love the characters he's holding hostage. It's criminal the Jeremy Adams run was canceled far too early to shift gears to this and hopefully the sales indicate this was a misstep forcing DC to learn their lesson.

This series started off lots of fun but kept losing steam as it went on due to PKJ focusing too much on the lore of the villains rather than the fun banter of the team.

I loved Kick Ass and Hit Girl became one of my favorite characters from that but this series was such a dud. I couldn't even believe Mark Millar wrote this as I've always found him to be better than this.

I'm a big fan of all Daniel Warren Johnson's previous stuff but was really disappointed with this one.

I used to love Bendis books back in the Marvel days, now his writing is unreadable and a shame he's just trying to force all his failed or ignored stories from his disappointing Superman and Leviathan runs into the Justice League. Solid art and still enjoying the JLA Dark backups fortunately.

Big ol' nothing sandwich.

Definition of a filler issue that's just treading water which has become a glaring problem for the whole Star Wars comics line.

The story has interesting things brewing but the art just really took me out of it and made the story hard to follow or take serious.

The main story was super generic and a slog to read. The back up was nice enough and far better than the main story and was nice to show what the peripheral characters are up to.

This book was fairly boring and King is writing Penguin as if he's the most evil character in the DCU which is totally off base and instantly took me out of the issue.

This issue was a slog to read and I really didn't jive with King's voice for Superman especially (though not as painful as his voice for Damian & Jon). He's clearly trying to recapture the fun of Date Night (which I really liked) but failed with constant goofy lines from Superman and writing Clark very generic as if he doesn't know Bruce like a brother. So many bad jokes and lines that just made no sense for them to say ("please don't tell Darksied"). That said the final few pages taking the picture and Bruce receiving the gift were fantastic and gave me some feels to see him smile like that but it's just a shame the journey to get there was so poor.

The lack of progression is killing my interest and hope things pick up.

This is one of those stories where a writer is more focused on their statement than the story and it instantly feels unauthentic. Which a shame as it takes away from genuine stories that can make impactful statements while telling a compelling story with natural voices/actions for the characters. The art is great though and I still like getting to see Clark do some detective journalism.

PKJ has a good grasp on Superman but his love of lore building continues to drag down his stories for me as this far future scenario just felt generic and nothing we haven't seen before. The final reveal with Jimmy was great though and makes me want to keep going along with the story.

This story just really does nothing for me but PJK writes a great Clark which gives me just enough to continue reading.

It's been brutal not being able to read the Avengers for so long due to Aarons terrible run so was hoping we'd get something fun to tide people over until he's off the run but unfortunately this book was very mediocre and too chaotic to really have any good character beats.

This book is pretty ruff with some poor writing and nonsense that Well's just won't accept isn't funny at all. But the art is great and the Tombstone/Janice stuff was good.

I really liked the moments with May and the moment with Peter and MJ talking about how much fun they have and care for each other but that just makes it more infuriating how Wells broke them up and created the lamest character Paul. Just glad Wells run is over but the last story by Kelly doesn't make me feel much better for what's to come.

This series is just so mediocre and the constant reminders to the audience of how "great" each Avenger is has become insufferable and a bad trend that's dragged their books down post Bendis and Hickman's runs.

Howard Porter is a talented artist with a dynamic feel but is just not for me. I could deal with it through Shadow War as the story was entertaining, but when paired with a mediocre story the combination was a disappointing issue.

I was really concerned having Tini Howard involved in this crossover as I don't feel any writer can salvage anything she's involved in but this issue somewhat tainted my feelings on Zdarsky's writing (who I find to be one of the best writers currently at the big 2). Dick Grayson saying Bruce needs to get off his "Moral Ledge" is practically blasphemy. Dick and Superman are supposed to be the moral compass of the DCU so he would never make such a statement of act like this. Just when it seemed the Bat-family was finally in a good place and getting along, we' thrown right into another rift that we keep seeing repeated through each writer's runs and it's getting so old and frustrating at this point. The Bat line is in dire need of a capable editor to manage the direction of these books and to challenge the writers to re-assess their ideas to get the most out of their potential. On a more positive note, it's so great to have Jorge Jimenez back on this book as his art style is amazing bringing so much life to it. Easily my favorite artist right now.

This was an ok story for an early Gordon tale but it really hurt the series further ruining the flow of the main story.

First story was fun but diminishing returns on each one as it went on.

All the super hero parts of this series just continue to be a complete mess but Williamson continues to delivery lots of fan series heart felt moments while bringing back important characters from Damian's past making this series a must read for me.

I'm a sucker for Scarface so I've been optimistically hoping Waters would have a satisfying ending but this issue was very clunky and didn't deliver just like the end of the last arc.

AKA Urban Legends 2. StormWatch was the most interesting and Mora's story has fantastic art as always but I'm all set with more Tom King Batman stories.

I'm a huge fan of Tom Taylor but this whole story just felt like a dud and not up to his usual caliber at all. Similar to Justice League Last Ride which was another mediocre story by a fantastic writer.

I so want to like this book as I like most of Kelly Thompson's books and this team has the potential for something great but so far the book's all over the place and loses me more each issue.

I've been having fun with this series but half the issue is just showing all the distraction events laid out which made for a boring read.

I've really like Taylor's previous work but this series didn't do much for me. I'm a huge Damian fan but his sacrifice had zero feels and didn't capture that previous magic Taylor's excelled at in Injustice or Unkillables.

Not sure if I've just been beaten down by the never ending drag of this whole story but I actually enjoyed this issue and hope the trend continues.

I'm really looking forward to the next phase of X books with a new team of writers. Fingers crossed it improves from the Krakoa era.

I initially liked how North would explore science/science fiction concepts to weave some interesting one shots but now it's just gone on too long especially when the stories have tended to fall flat for me.

Starts off as an awful "Return of the Joker" rip off, then gets good with an interesting direction, to only end with a terrible final few pages.

I've loved this series as Williamson has a great voice for the arrow family and the issues have been lots of fun. I've been able to gloss over some of the goofy story lines and forced explanations for things but this issue struggled too much to ignore. The whole Sanctuary hard light construct concept and fight were boring and the stuff with Malcom's off world explanations dragged. Really hope things pick up next issue and Williamson can stick the landing to this series (as well as Superman) which I've so far found to be a huge flaw in his previous work.

Great art but this feels like a tie in issue that only the last few pages progress a story. Continuing my disappointment in the Aaron's Avengers run and patiently waiting for the next writer to give this book life again.

This run quickly went from something I was excited for to suffering through to give the first arc a chance but will definitely be dropping now. Shame Ryan Ottley's amazing art is wasted on this story and hope to see him on another series in the future.

Awesome art with crazy monsters but there's no substance and the eldest story has gone on so long that it's been stretched too thin now.

The story beats were fine but the writing was so corny and the art did nothing in its favor. It's a shame this series is going out with a dud when it was solid for the majority of the run.

I was a huge fan of most of Bendis' work over at Marvel and was excited to see him make his way to DC but man after trying to be positive at first on Superman which ended up being a total disappointment in the end, this Justice League run so far is just a dud. All the characters are too jokey sounding the same and the book just feels like a back door pilot for Naomi. At least there's the JL Dark backup to enjoy.

It's criminal not just what a let down this series has been, but more so to have Dan Mora's talents wasted on such mediocre stories. I'm a Mark Waid DC fan but this series has just never felt important or cohesive yet Mora keeps pumping out some of the best art in the industry.

Such a shame how Laura's being written in her own series. She's now earned the name Wolverine because she's earned it but Schultz is just totally removing all the growth that Laura's been through to then just bring her up again through the series. Such a transparent trope that's too common now and just adds to the mediocrity that Marvel keeps pumping out. That said, I at least enjoyed Laura and Elektra teaming up once they got over the cliche beef and feel Schultz does a much better job writing her.

The issue feels very climatic and is super elevated by Dexter Soy's amazing art but this whole Zani & Pearce story is built on a foundation of bad issues with all over the place plotting. I love Nightwing so I'll follow along and hopefully the rest of the arc are on this level (but hopefully better) which at least provides a decent read though ultimately makes no sense.

Man for such a promising and fun start, Spencer's run is really going out on a lull. After fully developing Boomerang into such a great character it's a shame how his death felt so rushed and almost glossed over to lose all emotional weight it should have held. The play to have Doc Oc foil kindred's plan was solid as true to the character but the conclusion to this "war" doesn't read like an end and should have had a confrontation between Peter and Kindred. Really hoping the next ASM issue has a somewhat satisfying conclusion.

This book really feels pointless now and even the art seems to show a lack of importance to this run. Really hope they end this never ending unbroken clan plot and find something fresh to save this series.

This book was all over the place but at least sets a new status with a more interesting team going forward.

This book is in dire need of a new writer. I've been going along for my love of Aphra but it's getting to a point where this run is taking away from the perceived relevance of the character.

This makes me worried for the quality of the future of the upcoming books.

The Brainiac related back story was alright but the whole Bibbo story was such a grag being far too long and lacking any subtlety. Though I generally agree with Mark Russell's politics, I hate his writing and wish he'd remain off cannon storylines as he's only focused on politics not writing an interesting story.

I generally avoid Leah Williams writing at all costs, but as a Livewire and Dan Slott fan I gave this a chance. The main story surprisingly wasn't that bad for a goofy comic but I felt Livewire was a little neutered and should have more bite to her character. The back up was pretty fun and had the tone of a "poor dad" style comic strip.

The instant elevation of Bendix being one of the biggest threats to the DC Universe was a bit much.

Love the art but as the series led on, it became more evident that this was a lot of style over substance. "Poetic" narration coming across as "deep" but really felt like empty calories come the end.

This series started off so strong and just got so convoluted and off focus but the one saving grace was the tweak to make Bloom a mad scientist that led to some entertainment.

Big fan of Sophie Campbell and liked the concept of character day to day life focused stories post issue 100 at first, but this current run is really starting to drag and feels like it's treading water. I've loved many silent issues but feel the images just weren't strong enough to show a compelling story. I love the turtles and will stick with the series but really hope things start to improve.

Good story but once again this art just took me out of the issue.

This feels like a digital first comic.

A disappointing series comes to a disappointing end. The series felt like it never had a clear direction or tone. Each time the series seemed to present something interesting, it would swerve back into something ill defined or just plain cheesy.

Frustrating as everything is well written, but we continually just get lots of talking each issue to the point that it's really hurting my enjoyment of the series. I'm more of a character work guy but this series takes it too far without enough balance of action and the biggest sin being the lack of May who was a shining star in the earlier issue.

Don't get the Al Ewing hype but he's clearly not for me so gonna drop this run. I love sci fi stories, but personally don't find he's able to tell compelling or even interesting stories.

I wasn't a fan of the characters from Sabertooth series nor the multiverse Sabertooths so this issue was a slog for me with a few interesting moments.

I like how Diana doesn't break but the issue drags. I would have preferred her not having ate the rat which would have made the ending even stronger showing ho she can't be broken. The back up was actually enjoyable with Damian & Jon as dogs so King couldn't continue his awful depictions of the characters. But that falls apart at the end as they revert back to King's petty portrayal of them.

This issue was a definitive confirmation to finally drop this book. Not terrible but just feels repetitive and unnecessary.

I was able to enjoy this issue enough by just shutting off my brain and enjoying time with 2 characters I really enjoy. Duggan's over use of pandering phrases in all his stories has become so cringy at this point and come across as cheap when they're valid themes that can be displayed intelligently with some subtlety.

I love Jeff Lemire so I'm being patient with this story but the lack of progression is really starting to drag this down for me.

Disappointing read that felt very generic.

There's some interesting ideas here but the issue was a slog to read which is something I've found to be typical for Ridley's writing.

Was so excited for Zeb Wells' run on Spider-Man after his amazing Hellions run but so far the story is really lacking. Romita's art also doesn't help. I'm cool for waiting to find out what happened in the 6 months but this issue kind of dragged at points and Tombstone's feelings on Robbie & Randy are suddenly the exact opposite of where he was just at. Hope it all makes sense in the end.

The story was so generic that I just felt like I was going threw the motions bored reading but there were some good banter/character moments but not as good as the previous issue.

Fun start of a heist story and looking forward to Felicia being in the next few issues as Mackay seems to be at his best writing her. On the other hand, Scarlet Witch constantly talking in the third person and self flossing was just pain full to read.

I really liked the moment Felicia got with her dad but the rest of the story just felt like a generic "the Avengers are awesome" story.

This issue shows what a critical piece Jorge Jimenez's art is to this run. I'm enjoying Tynion's run but do see how things get dragged out and parts feel boring or cheesy without being elevated by Jimenez's art.

Amazing art but everything's so rushed and disjointed that each storyline's conclusion isn't satisfying and the emotional moments aren't earned.

This series is so up and down throughout each issue for me. Jimenez's art is incredible as always, there's some good action, and I like Hugo being involved. Yet we keep getting small moments of villains that have yet to amounted to anything. By issue 6 it would be nice if there was at least some progression in one of the many plotlines with the villains. It all just feels so scattered. But the main problem I have is the offensively excruciating regression of Damien that total contradicts recent and even current ongoing stories where Damien is well past this. The mistake was so forced but I can roll with it but the whole scene with Tim was such a regression especially when the current focus of the PJK series is all about Damien wanting more than just being Robin and/or a future Batman. The over the top scene with Bruce brutally scolding him was also a bit much and also so contradictory to Batman & Robin. Plus the tender moment with Tim later made this seem even worse in retrospect. Then having Tim putting his Robin role on hold felt somewhat hollow and would have felt more authentic if we saw a few moments with him and Bernard and/or how its putting a strain on their relationships. So far it just feels like Fraction has ideas set in his head without any care of them being accurate to current continuity. This is something that should and could easily be fixed with some editorial guidance.

I'm a big fan of Gene Luen Yang and think every human should read his perfect Superman Smashes the Klan and have also been enjoying his latest Shang Chi runs, but his start to this series has been a huge disappointment. The fantastic art and occasional funny lines just aren't enough to make up for what's feeling more and more over a jumbled story that's losing my interest more each issue. Hopefully once this arc is done the series picks up.

Really enjoyed the story and art of the Batman/Zatanna story thought the talk between Superman and Batman was very jarring and off character. The Wight Witch was readable but very cliché story trope for a character that doesn't feel warranted to have a past with Bruce. The last two were the standard throw away stories we seem to get in this book and won't be reading the rest of those.

This issue was just a slog to read but thankfully got more interesting in the final couple pages.

Been really liking this run under Ram V but this issue just felt like a waste of time with stories that didn't add any interesting insight to Selina's history.

This was a very uneven issue and way too long. I'm not an Omega Bam Man fan but figured we'd at least get a fun romp with him teaming up with Kyle. We get some of that but also way too many other plot points and what felt like a never ending back story that totally dragged on forever. There was still fun to be had and any wrestler fan will appreciate the loving nods but the dialogue heavy exposition and overlong back story really made it hard to have a good time.

I was expecting so much more from this as Jeremy Adams writing a lost children story should be a homerun but this issue just felt average. Stories like this keep making grown up Jon Kent feel like a character without a purpose which is a shame.

Some could have been cool moments that are wasted/meaningless due to this story being so dragged out and full of forgettable villains that take away from any excitement and emotional investment.

I've been liking Taylor's Detective run but this issue is a prime example of the decline from Taylor's greatness of the past. As someone who agrees with Taylor's politics on the prison-industrial complex and appreciates when fiction subtly teaches the reader about social/historical injustices, I find Taylor lacks the finesse to weave such themes within a story and lately prioritizes expressing his views above the story. This leads to characters dialogue feeling odd at times to just plain after school special preachy. Hopefully he gets his groove back focusing on story while still educating uninformed readers on issues within our society. That said the issue was still good with excellent art. I really liked Damien taking on the guards and not being able to help him self from reacting.

William's has a great voice for these characters but the plot and reveals throughout this series have been a mess. That said, at least he's finally put the arrow fam back together and each issue is still a fun read.

When so much seems to be happening all at once all the time, it makes it feel like nothing happens or matters which has been a problem for this run.

This feels like kids smashing action figures together.

Chip Zdarsky is one of the best current writers at DC & Marvel but this whole series was just very mediocre and felt like a typical digital only fan service story. At least it's lightyears better than the current Bendis Justice League run which is just unreadable.

Didn't even bother with Williams story but Johnson's story was fine but not as solid as the first issue.
