Bruce Wayne became Batman to strike terror into the hearts of criminals, but he never imagined a world where Gotham City would be so safe it no longer needs its Caped Crusader. What is the cost for everything the Dark Knight could ever want? This is what is discussed in this epic finale . Williamson dangles a perfect dream to a broken soul with phenomenal writing. Mora and Farrell construct a powerful look at the hidden side of the Dark Knight. This isn't your typical Batman story by a longshot. Read Full Review

Williamson saves the best for last as Bruce is tortured with happiness he hasn’t achieved and a world he can wish for. I love that the characters know the truth of their circumstances and don’t look for ways to circumvent reality. Instead, they come together as a family to help one of their own. It’s a testament to who the character of Batman is and what he represents to the people closest to him. A great finale that leaves some interesting breadcrumbs in its cliffhanger. Read Full Review

Though DC K.O. at large has been hit or miss, Knightfight shows the character-focused brilliance that can emerge from its premise. It is a brilliant exercise in subversion. It lures you in with promises of big exciting fights and powerscaling but delivers a heart-wrenching meditation on family and the power of a strong and loving parental figure. Read Full Review

DC K.O.: Knightfight #4 earns a spot in your pull list if Bat-Family feels hit you right; it trains you to care deeply before the knockout punch. Skip if endless tournament setups wear you thin, as even sharp execution can't fully escape the formula. Your wallet thanks the wit, but demands proof next arc delivers. Read Full Review

I really like this miniseries tie-in. I would say that minis like that have a low batting percentage but I think this was a worthy tie in and is a must read. Usually tie-ins are very skippable but I don't think this is. It is worth it and I hope people pick it up. Read Full Review
