Tom Taylor can't write a compelling story. At least, I could laugh at his zombie stories, but this book is just boring.

Moderately captivating, but nothing remarkable and the art was amateurish.

Much to my surprise, I quite enjoyed the character of Punchline.

Tynion has fundamentally misunderstood the characters of Batman and Joker.

This event felt like it was written by an edgy teenager.

This book is more about depressed men and their feelings than serial killers and mystery.

I wish Al Ewing would team up with a talented artist to write a Fantastic Four book. Marvel's first family deserves the Immortan Hulk treatment.

Art: 8/10 Story: 2/10 (Perhaps, it is written for a younger audience.) Verdict: 5/10

Doctor Manhattan Who Laughs? I didn't like that part. Edit: Changed my rating from 8.0 to 7.0. Gorgeous art, but mediocre writing. Scott Snyder needs to stop doing story arcs about the multiverse.

It is getting worse by each issue. It feels rushed and disorganized. Snyder should remember that the less is more.

The focus of this book is far better than the main title's.

Both overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. It's hard to believe that it was written by the same Scott Snyder who wrote The Court of Owls.

Story: Good. Writing style: Mediocre. Exhausting, overexplanatory and long-winded without saying much. Cover: Average. Art: Bad. I don't like this art style, it's lazy and a little cartoonish. Verdict: 6.5/10.

Interesting ideas, but ultimately boring execution.

Quite a few interesting concepts combined together in a very well executed issue.
