AIPT - Vishal Gullapalli
Jun 18, 2019As always, Gideon Falls is a masterclass in visual storytelling. The plot has ramped up rapidly since the first arc, and Lemire is doing an excellent job giving answers that only serve to create further mysteries. Sorrentino is putting out the best work of his career, and improves with every issue. The layouts and artwork throughout are exquisite, and serve to enhance the story in an incredible way. Each scene's tone is defined by how Sorrentino lays out the page, and the entire issue is a structural masterpiece. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Robert Mammone
Jun 22, 2019Gideon Falls #14 another entry in a stellar series that unfolds like some sort of insane piece of origami art. Time will tell of Lemire is able to stick the landing, but on the evidence at hand in Gideon Falls #14, its more likely than not that he'll be able to present a stunning finale that will reward our patience. THE GOOD: -I've come to expect perfection from this comic, and it's come to deliver every single time. -Man, Andrea Sorrentino is something else. He clearly puts so much effort into his artwork, it's really something to behold. -Whoa, I didn't expect to see old Angie appear there. -Holy shit, that guy was the [SPOILER REDACTED]! Well done, Mr. Lemire. Well done. -That splash page that is literally in the middle is incredible. -Man, I cannot wait for the next issue. THE BAD: -Not much. Not much at all.

The concept of multi-dimensions might be complex but Lemire just made that quite easy to grasp while continuing to instigate wonder and mystery. The reveal at the end was brilliant absolute mind-bending(i was definitely not expecting that!!!)

I like doing sound effects when there's a trippy part. It seems like it doesn't add anything, but amuses me. Sweet comic.
