Some good solid fun in Kirkman's Transformers-inspired space opera... that has actual transformers in it. Go figure! Read Full Review

Void Rivals #14 was another solid installment of one of Image's most reliable titles. With some big forces, including Cobra-La, heading to Darak and Solila the action is all but ensured to heat up even further. Read Full Review

VOID RIVALS #14 decisively turns the multiple threads and groups of characters who've popped up over the course of the previous thirteen issues toward an inevitable collision with the Sacred Ring. Robert Kirkman gives (almost) every character a moment to shine in an increasingly complex story, and the art team's delivery keeps getting better. Read Full Review

Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici impressively balances out multiple story angles to create a cohesive package. The storytelling through both the character dynamic and each environment creates a strong investment in every scene in Void Rivals #14. It's an investment that makes the final few pages developments get you even more intrigued in where everything will eventually lead to in the Energon Universe. Read Full Review

This issue is what can only be described as a table setting issue. Not much goes down in the way of action, but what it lacks their it picks up in the story. Kirkman is setting up for the next chapter in this series. A little bit of a slow build, but hopefully it will be pay off in issues to come. Read Full Review

I'm really impressed with how Kirkman is managing so many plots at once and also successfully developing each of them.

"You LOVE Handroid' then the look on Solila's face as she admits maybe she does sometimes is my favorite panels in this issue. Laughed as it was so in character it felt great. Now onto the meat and potatoes. Great issue! Great art! The entire ethereal interaction was gold. Loved that scene. Seeing HotRod was great. That last panel... well that doesnt look good for basically everyone. Lots of moving parts this issue compared to last and it really made the set up from last issue felt needed and valuable. This series has been carrying on in great fashion. I love how it fits into the Energon universe and I love the dynamic of this pseudo-dysfunctional duo.

"You got the touch! You got the powerrrrr!" The plot thickens and I'm totally for it. Good issue 👍.

Although I like the combination of the Transformers in this book, I feel like the story has stalled. The only plot points we get are the arrival of Hot Rod and Solila continuing her journey. There really is no evolution. I hope Kirkman can step up his game in the near future. My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/eaBruuDdt1Y
