I think the answer with angela has to do with she already living her life. If you remember she meets herself in one of the previous issues as if she knew what already has happened. In this issue the bishop mentions angela telling him where shed be but that is referring to her counterpart that died in the other issue.

Horror DNA - James Ferguson
Oct 03, 2020Gideon Falls is finally coming together and it was totally worth the wait. It set a high bar of terror from the beginning and it continues to surpass that with each chapter. That's an impressive feat 25 issues in. As we approach the grand finale, I cannot wait to see what is in store for us, especially if this chapter is any indication. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder
Sep 23, 2020Gideon Falls has been constantly evolving with each new arc and what initially intrigued me because of my ever-present Catholic guilt now fascinates me by being this multi-genre speculative fiction celebration of all things surreal and horrific. Everything continues to fall in place and this particular issue maybe isn't the best time to jump in, but this review should serve as a reminder that Gideon Falls is out here doing all of the work. This issue flew by. Definitely had some recap but its all good because it gave us a nice set up for things to end on. Im very interested in seeing how they pull off the ending. Its a great series and probably top 5 comic series ive read so far. Hopefully they can pull it off. Its sure looking that way.

Visually, this is some of the best work I have seen from Andrea Sorrentino on pencils, David Stewart on the colors, and Steve Wands on letters. Seriously, WOW. The first six or so pages is done with absolutely masterful techniques by all three. This issue in short starts to come full circle and present revelations about the craziness that has been going as the series approaches it finale at Issue #27 (basically the last arc #27-30). Lemire has reached the pinnacle of how vast the world of Gideon Falls really is. I have said this before, he stretches the boundaries of what horror can be, starting with a small-town America/Western style and evolved it up to this multiverse of madness. Though, this is really short. I mean, only 17 pages? C more

I really loved the art.

The art was amazing but story wise felt like a filler

Better, but I can't shake the feeling like we're going in narrative circles. How many more times do we need to "gather the ploughmen"?

This was fine! The artwork was all great, but the story itself fell flat for me.
