Bendis should not have both Action Comics and Superman. The whole point of having two books about the same character is so that there can be two different takes on the same character in case you're not into one. The only difference between Bendis' AC and Superman is that Action Comics has worse art than the flagship book.

Drama, action, incredible art and great characterisations. There's not much more you could ask for in a Spider-Man issue.

I'm enjoying Tynion's run so far, but I'm not loving it just yet. The thing that I appreciate the most from this issue is the dialogue. Tynion manages to give the characters their own voices which in my opinion is essential for Batman, his allies (in this case Lucius) and his enemies. The story has me intrigued, but I'm not quite hooked. I've enjoyed all of the action, but I also feel like not much has really happened in the first 3 issues of Tynion's run. However I do want to keep reading more because I am a fan of Tynion's recent writing in other books and believe that once the series gets going he will manage to deliver on the promise of this series. On the art side of things I have absolutely zero complaints about Guillem March. The art is gritty and action packed, just as Batman art should be. It's going to be interesting to see where this series goes next.

What a great issue! This is what I've been wanting from the Tynion run from the beginning. Action, great characterisation for several characters and just great work all around. Tynion is getting a better grip on Bruce's individual voice and Selena's. His Joker is terrifying in the best way, and Catwoman acted far more like Catwoman. The art was great too, Jiminez and Albuquerque did excellent work.

Not quite as good as the first two issues, but still a worthy read with some really fun art.

That Al Ewing and John McCrea story made the whole issue worth it for me.

I really liked this grounded approach to Batman. I'm interested to see where this goes.

While the Avengers: Empyre #0 was fairly essential reading for the main Empyre book, this book does not really add anything for anyone who hasn't already been following Slott's run on the Fantastic Four. The only thing that really made this book stand out was Silva's incredible artwork.

I would love to see Al Ewing takeover the Fantastic Four ongoing book. He really knows how to balance cosmic adventures with grounded storytelling. I also was surprised with how much I liked Schiti's art.

Solid ending to a somewhat disappointing event.

An actually good tie-in that adds to both the Empyre books and the X-Men books.

Chris Samnee is straight up one of the best.
