Overall, a powerful third issue, which gives readers a hero to root for. The story by J. Michael Straczynski is gripping. The art by the creative team of Mike Deodato Jr., Lee Loughridge, and Sal Cipriano is splendid. Altogether, a story that gives readers a new perspective. Read Full Review

Tonally quite different from the first two issues, by focusing on one character we’re beginning to get a feel for Straczynski’s new shared world. At times it feels like it’s bordering on a parody of the superhero genre, but it’s deliberately done and deftly handled so it never goes into full-on satire. The art and colours continue to be out of this world, crafting a sense of realism that fits perfectly with the story. Read Full Review

While the first two issues were amazing, this issue was just good. The change in direction and tone is quite off putting, however Stracynski pretty much said on Twitter that this was just a short offshoot in the story before it returns to its larger focus.

A Garth Ennisesque approach to how this world with newly born superheroes is developing. The authoritarian government is relying on the private sector to keep tabs on these superheroes and it ends up looking very similar to our world's industry for social media influencers.

-Did not really feel this one -Like the superhero business model type idea, but the character at the center of it didn't grab me -Wish there was more about the political/resistance story line with this issue
