One of the clickbaitiest covers they made in the past 15 years. Still, fine issue.

A good conclusion. This and the previous are the two issues of ASM John Romita is the most proud of. May he rest in peace.

Great art.

Completely meaningless action issue. Some pages looked cool I guess.

Pretty good. It focuses too much on the destruction(which to be fair, is beautiful), and not as much on characters(which to be fair, look ugly), with the exception of Nova. Sells the threat and stakes very well.

Good issue. Liked the metaphor of Moondragon being destined to be the celestial madonna as an analogy to being queer. Also, damn, they really just decided to gamble the lives of everyone in the temple huh

So painfully edgy, good god.

Visuals are great in general, from art to inks to colors, but it's style over substance. The action sequence in the beginning was a bit too vague, without giving a good sense on the geography and what actually knocked out/killed each victim. Interested in wether Zak-Del's father is actually his father or a part of the control of the Phalanx. Considering the end of the issue, this seems less likely, but i found it curious that his ghost would be so eager to tell the son that he has to focus on getting revenge on him. Not the type of thing you hear from a ghost of the protagonist's dead parent. The scene with Ronan finding out that the Supreme Inteligence is "alive" and will be used by the Phalanx was pretty good. Made me intrigued on what will happen. I just wonder why Wraith didn't freed him alongside Super-Skrull and Praxagora.

Dammit, i was liking it so much but then they did the "hey, remember that this comic is from 2007" and did a Kill Your Gays Punch.

A vile and trashy story that not only adds nothing to the main Annihilation story, but will add nothing to your life. Just horrible.

Great, uncomfortable issue.

Fun issue. Really worried that this run will end and there will still now going to be an explanation as to why Colossus was profecized to destroy Breakworld.

The whole tsunami part was very silly. Both it being made and stopped by Amadeus.

Good to finally meet the Grim Reaper, and know more about the Simon/Wanda/Vision relationship.

This story would end up having a massive impact on Wanda, who would never really recover from the damage this story caused. In a vacuum however, this was a very good issue. Very impactful and emotional.

It just throws a bunch of new concepts while being extremely vague in the off chance that we get interested in one of them. Then it nukes a college and the Avengers couldn't give a care about all the burned skulls they are stepping on.

If there's one character who would emphasize with Kevin in this team, it's the Hulk. His reaction in this was stupid

Pretty intriging, but there's only so much "intriguing" i can take before i start wondering if there was anything worth all the hiding and mystery. Hopefully this will actually set up something worthwhile in the future.

Fun issue. The Aim guys with a suit while wearing the helmet made me laugh.

Fine issue, but the sudden appearence of characters who apparently were always there in a scene made some moments a bit confusing.

Very little of story actually happened, but it's cool to see the Avengers just helping people and solving problems. So often heroes only job is punching people

Man i do NOT care about the mystery behind this threat. Hickman better surprise me when Infinity actually starts.

Bad action. Scenes with Captain Universe & Manifold and Starbrand and Nightmask were good.

Very bad and meaningless action. Things just happen.

It's impressive how I feel nothing about the main plot of this event. The enemies are completely uninteresting. They should have just made the story be about Thanks and the Black Order.

A great issue that fixed some problems I had with the most recent ones, but still hasn't solved some others: mainly that I can't have a grasp on how dire the situations are without knowing, say, how the logistics of the rebellion is, or how much ground are they losing or winning. Sure, they showed some planets being taken and retaken, but this isn't very tangible. I guess I miss a war table with a map of the galaxy showing what was won or lost. I also felt like this issue was a rollercoaster where we won, lost, then won again. This made this particular issue really good but it also made me feel this could have been more spread out throw hg the next issues. Or maybe the pacing of those next issues will be great, who knows. Lastly I wish Ex Nihilo's and Abyss's side mission were more connected with the rebels. I wish the galactic council were aware and incentivising them so it felt more like a plan. Seeing their stories in this issue is starting to feel like a Deus Ex Machina(heh)

Considering the fact that both this issue and Infinity #5 came out in the same week I don't really get why they decided to make this essencially a filler issue when SO MUCH happened in the previous one. They could have easily attached the events of issue #21 onto this one and give the ups and downs of the war we saw in said issue a bit more time to breathe. Dialogue was fine that and the pretty visuals of the shops, but that was basically it.

Kick-ass issue. Wish the plan were more detailed than simply "ram these toys against each other while these human martial artists take over the station", however.

Pure setup issue. Pretty mediocre considering it. Could have been a #1, and certainly would have benefited from the extra pages of one. Some slight restructuring could have allowed for the story to be more than just that. In the end enjoying the issue hinges almost entirely on enjoying the designs of the new antagonists...which fortunately i did, on most of them.

So the solution against Thor's opponent was for him to just attack the civilians himself? Mackay really couldn't think of anything better?

The narration was great. Hopefully it will be relevant beyond it being a nightmare.

Damn, Ewing really hates the concept of pacifism huh? This is the second time I read a story where he shits on Wonder Man and the idea.

Contrived solution and silly ending, but Mora's art is so good it makes everything better.

The beginning was great but then the story wasted almost a third of the page count on a pursuit where nothing really happens. Really wanted to give a higher score.

Not a fan of how dickish the Avengers were written here. Great art though.

An ugly issue that adds nothing of value

Fun issue, if a bit difficult to understand in the first reading. The scene with the X-Men was pretty funny.

Great conclusion to a good arch. Such a breath of fresh air after the one before.

A bit generic, but there were good lines and the art and colors are great.

Art and colors are great. The focus on K'vvvr was great. I really empathized with him, and any story that shows both perspectives of soldiers in a war gets points in my book. The main plot of the issue I didn't liked it though. The plot twist felt contrived and not very well constructed.

Great issue. The scene with Bast was really great and the ending was hype.

A very good conclusion, wasn't expecting them to tie the two main knots this well. Just wish the epilogue weren't literally just two pages.

Don't like the way they portrayed Ross here. Seems like the writers have a big disagreement on him compared to how Christopher Priest wrote him.

This is all so dumb. T'Challa knows who attacked him but he decides not to tell anyone. Then Shuri has leads that lead to Namor and she doesn't bother to ask T'Challa about it. Then she decides she will "talk" to Namor when that clearly means fight because of it. Can't people just talk?!

The justification for the fight to happen was stupid, and the action was also stupid. Shuri doesn't have a single strategic thought. The premise behind the scenes regarding the crisis on Wakanda is good, but the execution wasn't. Some scenes could have been more well written. The scene with the Dora Milage is not very well explained. The "be blasted by magic in order to become more powerful" is weird.

Good first issue, despite the confusing first scene. Interesting setups and great layouts. The final scene with Aneka and Ayo was a highlight. Beautiful inks.

Good issue. T'Challa os definitely getting Worf'd, but I understand that it's an effective way to make sure that the new antagonists make a strong first impression. Hopefully they will balance this better in the coming issues

This issue made a very strong impact. The beginning was a bit confusing though.

The first scene with the Hatut Zeraze wasn't very well written i feel.

Terrible action on an otherwise fine issue

Very good issue. Interested in what the story plans to do with Shuri. Art and colores were great.

A disappointing conclusion. The control of Zenzi ending with a speech was particularly silly. Sounded like something from the West Wing. The ghosts defeating the remaining People also wasn't very satisfying.

It was cool to see Queen Divine Justice and Zawavari again.

It was cool to see the father and daughter from the first issues again. I worry about the framing of Ororo as a goddess. It feels antithetical to the idea of no longer having Wakanda being led by a single adored individual.

First story was fine. Definitely carried by Ross who I like so much. 6,5. Don't know anything about McGregor's work on BP, but that was a great story. Art as beautiful as well. 7,5. Black to the Future 2 was pretty bad. Basically just a narration of what happened in the past of that future. 4,5.

The issue was mostly action, and tge action itself was pretty meaningless and bad, so there's not much to bite in here. Art is great.

Amazing start. The story itself was already pretty good, and so did the action, but the real star of the show is the incredible art. Very optimistic about this series. Mixing BP with space opera is a match made in heaven.

It's very rare that an starting action scene not only is good, but also feels purposeful. You understand the stakes, and the highs and lows, instead of just two sides bashing each other for no reason. Art is still amazing, and the last third of the issue was intriguing

Great issue with multiple great powerful moments and lines. The final story was also great. I never saw such a short story work so well, being able to mantain a good beginning, middle and end consistent. Props to the writers and artists.

The middle to end was borderline incomprehensible.

Surprised by how modern the dialogue is despite the 6-year window since it released. Great art as well.

An obviously rushed ending.

The main story was pretty bad. It sounded like a story written for children. The second story was a bit better, despite being much shorter and closed on itself. Art and colors of said story was great, which helped a lot.

It's barely better than the previous issue due to the fact that the post kiss romance isn't obnoxious like their tough love from before. The scene with T'Challa was ok as well, but it still has big problems in dialogue and scene transition.

Ayo and Aneka's relationship was pretty good in this issue.

The story is interesting but the dialogue and art isn't good. It's too practical, only made to move the story forward, and without flourishes or spice, on the lack of a better word. I also don't liked conflict between Aneka and Ayo in this issue compared to the previous.

Glad to see that the story did improve over time. I actually did enjoyed this issue.

A nothing issue really. Nothing bad, nothing noteworthy.

Those were some pretty big windows in the room where James and Stevie went to sleep huh Nat. Kind of amateurish. Action could have been better, but the art was good in general.

Well, that resolution of the Space Knights was gross. Just kill the last survivors of a people for no reason. Only reason i'm giving this passing grades is the art.

Atmosphere in the first half was pretty spooky, then people went through the portal and it became mediocre.

I would have given a higher score because i actually liked the issue, unfortunately the action is just terribly drawn. I don't understand how the superhero genre consistently has such bad action. There's more to this than just drawing cool poses.

Damn they really fucked Kelly Sue up by making her write a tie-in right after the end of her previous arch. I was totally lost when the prelude mentioned that she lost her memory. It really sucks that she didn't get to write that in the actual comic, but she did well with what she had. K didn't liked the Avengers issue where this fight occurred but I feel like DeConnick did a pretty good job adding a human element to the defeat. Pity that the art wasn't up to par.

The art was good and dynamic.

I have literally nothing to say about this issue. Art isn't even that great compared to the work i know by Lee Garbett and Belen Ortega. Colors were good tho. So tired of post-apocalyptic futures.

Writing was ass during 60% of the issue, but then the later half was great. Not sure what happened.

Really great issue. Loved seeing the flashbacks of Ultimatum in contrast to the present.

Love the premise, and the art is gorgeous, but I'm having difficulty imagining any situation in which they will successfully frame the Champions as the correct ones in this situation without flat out making CRADLE fascists who put them in concentration camps and torture them. We don't allow teenagers to drink or drive, obviously there is no argument in making it legal for them to be vigilantes, come on now.

Almost decided to drop the series after that first scene with the Avengers. What is that trash and why do X-Men writers still do this? As for the rest, the writing in the second scene was pretty bad. So much "tell, don't show" and very forced. The "repeat" of the same twist from the first issue was also unnecessary.

Fun issue. Surprised by the quality of the art.

Great issue. Very good at creating tension and paranoia. Got worried for a second that Foggie would not believe Matt and think he's crazy again. Not sure i believe in Bullseye being able to come up with a plan like that, but let's see where this story goes.

Disappointing. Such an interesting cast of characters wasted. Wanted to see the artist drawing these characters in a better story.

Designs for Constrictor and Mamba were amazing. Ending was pretty silly but it's more of a "that's not how trials actually work" than actually due to writing quality.

Really didn't connected with this arch. Art is still beautiful, and the idea for the next run is interesting.

Pretty good issue. Amazing art in the still scenes, pretty bad when it comes to action, as always.Amazing colors(despite the weird pink blood) Cole's conversation with Matt was pretty interesting. Wonder how important the governor is going to be in the end. Doubt he's going to actually have a significant role unless they decide to ignore who's the current one in real life and just come up with a fictional one.

Mobili's art was pretty good, though the geography of the action needs more wirk It's nice to criticize the action for a different reason i guess. The whole "the Stromwyn own the media" was so cartoony it took me out of the story. The rest was good.

Great art in the raining parts

That was so good! Loved the twists and turns. Now i have to read the annual i missed.

The Elektra part was a bit wasn't very well written. Matt's part was great despite the terrible Knullified design and a bit too much focus on religion. The idea of putting himself on an electric chair was amazing, but i was a bit disappointed that we didn't get a wide panel of him in the chair taking the shock.

why is Kirsten white here? I though she was biracial.

This was weaker than the annual. A little too cliche.

Amazing art. Koblish and Staples recreated Kirby's artstyle and the misprints of that era really well. Story was completely meaningless, but well, it's somewhat accurate to the era too.

Weakest issue so far. The flashbacks didn't really added much, and the action in the present wasn't well drawn nor interesting.

Didn't even noticed the issue was close to the end. Felt like the writer was going a bit too hard on making sure we don't like Chuck. Alright, we get it.

Great writing. Good dialogue and the scene with Ikaris and the boy scene was amazing. Also, Esad's art is good but by god his faces look TERRIBLE. They were not nearly as bad in God of Thunder.

My first contact with the Externals. Not fully sure i understood all of it, but interesting.

Wow, that was bad. The fight between Betsy and Isca was so short and weak, and ended without explanation. I knew how the fight between Doug and Bei would end, and i really wondered how they would turn the fight into a marriage. If one of the other characters would try to skirt around the rules in order to allow Doug to live, but turns out there was 0 motivation at all! What the hell was that?! Why would Saturnyne just decided to do a marriage? So dumb Then there's the Jubilee stuff which was brought up out of nowhere. Jubilee didn't knew about the event? Why? Such a dumb conclusion. Also love the "Doug can't understand her because of uhhhhh reasons" At least Phil Noto's art was good, and the scene between Isca and Betsy before the fight was cool.
