Even if youre not picking up the rest of this story, Tynion has done a fine job of making the Wonder Woman chapters self-explanatory, so its not completely necessary to spend the extra money so far. Oct 24, 2018This issue doesn't hit it out of the park, but it's still very good despite being mainly exposition. Counting the previous issue of Justice League Dark though, that makes for two issues in a row in the same sort of mold. If part five, Justice League Dark #5 is much the same next week then the event would have unfortunately trailed off significantly, which would be a massive disappointment given the event's wonderful start. good story with very good art. feels like the series is ending tho. its been downhill since Rucka left but still.. I'd hate to see that happen. Maybe we can get Tom Taylor!!! from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 9. +1 because: the art was definitely above average. +2 because: this is playing out as a good story

I liked this a lot. Poor John, I really hope they give him a good solo series again instead of killing him dead, but time will tell on that one. This has been a great crossover, probably the best since I've started reading DC.

Wonder Woman #57 was a really hard issue for me to acquire which coincidentally is the reason it took me so long to finish "The Witching Hour Event". I hit 4 local comic shops and they were all sold out before I finally purchased the Jenny Frison Variant on eBay for double the cover price. Yeah, I could have probably pirated the comic but I try to do the right thing whenever possible. Wonder Woman #57 pretty much validates my opinion that Justice League Dark #4 was filler and completely unnecessary. The comic also marks a return to form for James Tynion IV. "I think you just died" Another good installment of the Witching Hour. Parliament of Trees burns, magic is dying, but our heroes still have some tricks up their sleeves. Although I'm afraid that their plan might have backfired a bit. Great visuals and a good story. I hope that the conclusion will be satisfying.

feels like all this crossover is, just Wonder Woman featuring Dark characters. Kirk and Bobo are basically extras in a movie. Deadman was a waste. Eh maybe I would have liked it better if this book didn't have Wonder Woman.
