This book really pulled it together in the end. It feels like some contemporary horror you would see on HBO.

Hill House Comics
El and Octavia's paths converge in an unexpected and bizarre way. They come together again just in time to witness a truly horrendous sight: a mob of Skinless Men erupting from the fiery fissures of Shudder-to-Think, Pennsylvania.
It seems like this is going to be the big finale and that makes me a little sad. Hopefully Grant Morrison decides to do a Season 3.
Green Lantern: Season Two #7

In the lethal aftermath of the war with the Anti-Matter Lanterns, Hal finds himself in a bizarre afterlife facing the judgment of the Young Guardians. Nothing will ever be the same again as the truth about the coming Ultraw...

Harley Quinn: Black + White + Red #9
"Indiana Quinn!"
Harley Quinn finds herself kicked to the curb when she botches Poison Ivy's best-laid plans to acquire a treasure of myth and legend! Determined to prove her worth, Harley sets off to capture the prize for them both, but not before drawing in Batman and Batgirl in a thrilling and dangerous adventure across the globe!
This could have been so much better had it had a segment for each JL member, instead it retreads on old ground and doesn't say anything new about Batman.
Justice League #52
"The Garden of Mercy" part two of two! For the first time, the Justice League explores the planet of the Black Mercy's origin. One flower is enough to incapacitate even the strongest hero, but with an entire planet full of them, the Justice League must steel their minds or else succumb to the withering effects of the great tree at the core. With B...
Justice League #51
Special extra-size anniversary issue! It's the final chapter of "The Rule of War"-and all the rules are broken! On the alien planet Trotha, Empress Siddinx's plan is revealed, and it's nothing short of world domination-with the Justice League entangled in her puppet strings. But how can the team save a population that now hates and fears them?
This felt so grounded. Almost like a Nolan version of what Adam Strange could be. With every issue the story escalates further and you can just feel the tension with every appearance of Adam and Alanna as the investigation goes on in the background. Doc Shaner and Mitch Gerads both kill it as always.
Throughout this series Alanna has felt very cold and scary, but given the past story an

Strange Adventures #5
Mr. Terrific is back on Earth, and he's making things hot for Adam Strange-but he also might get a little burned himself! The conflict is out in the open now, and the court of public opinion doesn't play fair. Mr. Terrific was picked to investigate the accusations against Adam Strange because he was the most impartial member of the Justice League-b...
I only read the Dark Ages half. Dark Ages is looking to be Marvel's version of Injustice and the teaser tells us that by showing that nobody is safe. Unfortunately on its own the teaser is a little barebones, but Injustice fans know we are in for something incredible.

Anyone who gets mad at character development that they won't agree with, stay away from this. However, I found the conclusion to this story pretty satisfying. It makes sense that Alfred being killed in front of Damian would have such a negative effect on him. He is only 13 years old. I'm interested to see this new direction he will go, and for any Damian fans upset... don't worry the status quo wi more
Teen Titans Annual #2
After Batman discovers the Teen Titans' most shocking secrets, he arrives at Mercy Hall...and he wants a word with Robin. Don't miss the confrontation between father and son that will alter the very course of the DC Universe. Will the Teen Titans ever be the same?
Teen Titans #44
In this issue, Crush, Roundhouse, Kid Flash, and Red Arrow chase down Robin, who's on the hunt for villains he thinks must pay the ultimate price for their crimes. With Batman also on the case, can the Teen Titans get to Damian Wayne before his father does?
Teen Titans #43
Robin begins a hunt that leads him to the KGBeast, the same assassin who wounded and nearly killed the first Robin, Dick Grayson. Will Damian Wayne cross the line to enact brutal revenge on the Russian villain-or can the Teen Titans temper the current Robin's rage?
This is my review of the entire arc. So this is a weird one... it isn't really a good story, or that well executed, but I can already tell it will be a very memorable one for how much of a thinking man's comic it is. It asks the question of many differing viewpoints and what the best course of action is. Immediately it is clear who Simon Spurrier's favourite Justice Leaguer is, as it is quite clea more
Justice League #50
Special extra-size anniversary issue! It's the final chapter of "The Rule of War"-and all the rules are broken! On the alien planet Trotha, Empress Siddinx's plan is revealed, and it's nothing short of world domination-with the Justice League entangled in her puppet strings. But how can the team save a population that now hates and fears them?
Justice League #49
"The Rule of War" part two! After the devastating events of last issue, the League is separated and labeled as alien visitors on a war-torn planet. With events spiraling out of control, and no leader to guide planet Trotha's citizens, how can the League save this world without interfering? As the team battles rogue factions, Batman makes a startli...
Justice League #48
As writer Simon Spurrier jumps on board for the start of the three-part tale "The Rule of War," it's close encounters...of a Justice League kind! After answering a distress signal from distant space, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Green Lantern discover an abandoned cargo ship full of young aliens! When the League attempts to retur...
This is my review for the entire arc. So one thing immediately clear to me is that there are certain things Vendetti does better than Snyder with the JL and that is their personal relationships. Snyder wrote Batman and Superman's relationship fantastically, but kind of didn't touch on the rest of them as a web of friends. This is kind of what Snyder's time on JL was missing since it was more of an more

As the Spectre's wave of vengeance sweeps across the world, the island is now twisted with rage. In order to quell mass retribution, the team must enter the Pit of Tartarus and find Jim Corrigan, but...
