• The Tenth Realm of Heven crashes into... wait, which number is Vanaheim? Well, Vanaheim. We're going to Vanaheim for adventures, fun and bleak existential horror!
•  Does Loki join the pursuit of Angela and her tiny, diaper-wearing charge? Well, we'd have to be really cruel to mention him here if he's not going to turn up. Loki Lies, not solicits. Solicits are always 100% honest.
•  Plus, find out why saying "All good angels go to heaven" would get you stabbed by Angela. She's a little touchy on the topic of the afterlife.

    Comicosity - Aaron Long

Angela: Asgard's Assassin #3 is an excellent read and any fans of Thor stories (current or old) need to give this book a shot. Gillen, Bennett, Jimenez and Hans are telling an important story here in a very skilled and graceful way and I while I never expected to be a fan of a comic headlined by Angela (the character just never clicked for me outside her banter with Gamora at times) I'm all in for this series. While this wasn't a bad issue, far from it actually, it was fun getting to know more about Angela and continuing the mystery if why she's kidnapped her baby sister. The plot barely moved, but it was great to see Angela continuing her threats while Sera sarcastically quips on the sidelines. Also, there's a pretty cool cameo towards the middle. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Greg McElhatton

After three issues of great art but a somewhat aimless story, though, I'm increasingly convinced that the sole purpose of "Angela: Asgard's Assassin" #3 is simply to have a series starring Angela, rather than any particular desire or hook that someone came up with for this comic. Everyone involved is doing their best to make it work, and there's a lot of talent on the title. If there's some sort of inner core idea driving the book, it's curiously absent in the final product. This book is gorgeous, but that's not enough to pull me back for any more. Read Full Review

We're three issues deep into Angela's solo comic, and I'm still not entirely sure I know the character. The book is really confident in its main character, and it does a heck of a job talking her up. But despite a new flashback every issue, I don't really think I know Angela as a person. She's kind of just a glittering icon who cuts her way through the action while other characters actually carry the story. Read Full Review

This is the panther of the Marvel Universe right now and hopefully Marvel can find a way to promote this to a higher degree as it deserves to be read. The dual story-telling in the title just works and having two voices really helps flesh out and move the story along without feeling like there are constant exposition or flashback moments. Not a fan of the new outfit personally as it seems to be one that many artists will have difficulty rendering and having it look as good as Jimenez does, especially the panel bursting wings, but this the caveat of it being more like the Witchblade and adapting and changing could rectify that particular issue. Sera and the twist with the character is handled well (chock another feather for diversity) and more
