It was fun, gave us some great Runaways moments, added more to the Secret Invasion plot than every Bendis written tiein so far and was just a joy to read. I just hope the Young Avengers get a little more spoltight in future issues. Read Full Review

These were the exact questions I had about the Skrull components of two of my favorite teams when this invasion began, and hats off to Yost for answering them. In the end, the book's a little light on story, but the characters are nailed perfectly and the art is vibrant and appealing. Certainly, "Secret Invasion: Runaways/Young Avengers" is a must-buy to fans of either parent series, but if you're looking for a place to get started on the property, don't be fooled by the idea of a crossover helping you pick things up. Do yourself a favor and go get those trades first so that you can enjoy this series properly. Read Full Review

If you're a diehard Runaways fanatic who's in agony over the title's extended delays you might find this a worthwhile pickup. But considering the book finally did ship this week, that might not even be enough. Only marginally entertaining. Read Full Review
