•  The most battle-heavy issue of RUNAWAYS (and possibly ANY COMIC EVER) is here, and you won't believe your eyes.
•  Doc Justice and the J-Team (i.e. the Runaways) has their most dangerous mission, and it does not end well for anyone.
•  The Runaways end this issue very, very different from where they started it.

Runaways #32 is an issue with solid writing and excellent art. It is the beginning of a new chapter in the Runaways' story, which makes it a great starting point for new readers while also continuing to keep old readers engaged and excited to read the next issue. Read Full Review

Runaways #32 (Rowell, Bustos, & Cunniffe) is heavy with emotion and potential change, creating either a good entrance for new readers or a unraveling of the team as we know it. Read Full Review

Uh, is that gym coach recruiting Gib to his sports team or hitting on him? Otherwise, this was another great issue. I missed this comic.

The Runaways are badly shaken in the aftermath of Doc Justice. Gert provides new focus by deciding to go back to school -- but the wounds and pains of the previous arc are far from healed. This is a great, quiet mood piece that starts laying track for new stories while reminding us that the characters have a lot of baggage to unpack in the future. Solid guest art lives up to the challenge of carrying a lot of storytelling weight when the script needs it to.

Welcome back! It's like reuniting with your charming super powered friends. A great story that will send you on a good rollercoaster of emotions and a new status quo that charts a new path for the series. On top of this the art is really good at capturing the emotions as this is more character development issue. I recommend it!
