Feb 24, 2021King in Black: Namor #4 is another epic chapter in this underwater high fantasy story. What is fantastic about the tie-in is that it doesnt feel like a tie-in at all. Yes, the deciding factor in the plot was due to a Symbiotic item, but that could easily have been something different. I just think the problem here is that I don't care much for these characters.

Namor, Attuma, and Dorma make it back to Atlantis a day ahead of the Black Tide and all hope seems lost. Solid words and art strive to keep the story entertaining, but this issue's plot is very thin and filler-y. I'm betting Mr. Busiek got to the middle of this script and said, "Aw, dang, we didn't need 5 issues for this."
