Where as many titles in Age of X-Man seem adrift and meandering through less than thrilling plot this book has a great focus and direction. The art very much matches the narrative and essence of this title. For me it is the best of them.

Sometimes an ending can be understated. Tremendous artwork throughout.

Expertly written and setting up something big

Hand up, I have no strong bond with Cable so "Kid Cable" doesn't really matter to me. I like Armor so anything with her is welcome. So this was fine

I know people don't like Kid Cable. Blah blah blah. Anyways, with Noto's art this was easily the best issue of the entire cross-over since Creation for me. Everything worked. And The White Sword is far and away the most interesting new character to come out of this entire Arakko storyline in my opinion.

Little disorienting at first but intriguing

Not sure this needed to be a #1. Still enjoyed it.

Tremendous issue. A true high-point for this series. Enjoyed every page of it.

I trust Eve moving forward, but this did not have the feel of a re-launch. My hope is that once the Outlawed "event" is done that this book can get back to what it was under Waid & Zub. Still I think a smaller group is the way to go. The Champions should have a tight-knit friend group feel to them. Not this huge pool of heroes constantly cycling in and out. We already have mutants for that...

Now under its fourth writer since "re-launch" the Champions faces a crossroads. The story itself feels compelling enough to see how it shakes out. The dialogue at times is clunky. Particularly in the opening salvos. Some of the quips just do not hit their mark. However, the more serious exposition does really feel in the spirit of the Champions. Art is of course perfect for a book of this nature. Vecchio is just fun. Obviously Lore will need time to build, and I'm hopeful they will.

Laura says "I don't understand any of this" and between the story, art, and dialogue I second her sentiments. Big swing and a miss for Dawn of X...

I mean the writing was more compelling than previous issues, but this art is NOT for me...

Magento's speech was nice

Better than 1 and 2. Good trajectory.

It is a solid volume thus far. No complaints. Good writing. Informational "science." And the art suits the story well. Waiting for it to take things to the next level.

So glad Marvel extended this run.

Lovely and fitting conclusion. Need Tom Taylor on a new Marvel ongoing ASAP.

Had a throwback vibe to it. Feels too deliberate to be a one off story. Much like the previous Giant-Size.

Coming back to this issue after an extended break in reading was perfect. Also finishing Empyre the day before was a nice coincidence.

This current run needs more buzz. It is very good.

I like the premise. The art is very good, but I do not love this version of Alex Summers. I wish he could have been written more similar to Rosenberg's version in Astonishing & Uncanny. Guess it was only one issue, so will have to wait and see.

With the incredible art and background of the antagonist I found this book quite compelling.

Wasn't really on-board until the final few panels. Now I'm moderately intrigued.

For whatever reason I do not enjoy the way Kamala's hair is being drawn.

That ending was heavy

I thought this was an extremely well done issue. Not only as a recap but as a true look at Kamala as a character.

Not sure why I was bothered so much by the sudden change in the length of Emma's hair but I was. Other than that solid.

The Glob scene was neat

The art is good. The "stories" are not. What is this book even about anymore? Also nice to see Bishop... for a second.

Issues such as this can be tricky to pull off, but I believe this one has done it well. Ending sets up the next arc well.

What Garron accomplished in this issue was remarkable

Solid issue. Some fun callbacks to the first 12 issues of this run.

Three artists on a book is never a good recipe for success. The Ortega pages at home were very poor. Looked like a different character from a different series. Height's pages of the cemetery were so-so. Without the Ze Carlos pages for Brooklyn Visions this book would be the worst of the series because of the art alone. However, Ahmed continues to deliver solid story with a nice cliffhanger.

Garron goes out with a bang! Literally. Tremendous art on this run by him, and Ahmed continues to be a natural fit for this character.

Eh, this is not off to the best start. Why is Armor being trained by people she is more than capable of commanding? Also isn't she with S.W.O.R.D.?

One of those one-shots that had an idea for an ending but wasn't sure how to get there. Some good moments especially when it came to the art, but as it was nothing more than a vehicle to initiate another X-Book with absolutely no correlation to the original team depicted here (Spoiler Alert it will be a Weapon-X Wolverine book) I cannot go any higher.

Good story. Sub-par art.

Violent. The art stands out.

Nice homage to Gangs of New York in the beginning and a fine fight with a Crocodile. Art once again stands out.

Really starting to come together nicely

The story is fine. Quick read like the others. Sudden shift in art is a bit much...

Solid annual. Decent story that fits in with what has been happening. Also I enjoy the Conan map.

This series is what it is. Solid, non-thinking, straight-forward, action. Zircher is a marked improvement in the art from #6. Notable the Elektra/Strange exchange.

This series has grown on me. Glad I stuck with it.

The story with the space lubber just is not compelling enough. Also the reliance on the "hacker" seems to detract from the protagonist and her abilities. Enjoyed the end, but I think the two issue break with a new team will breathe some new life into a series which does have potential, despite the up and down nature of the first five books.

An improvement over Okorafor's previous issues. In favor of the new art style. Has potential, just needs some fine tuning.

Uneven series as a whole. The Sam Spratt covers early were fantastic. I enjoyed Rachel Stott's art in the later issues. Other than that the story was fine. Nothing world changing. The power set Shuri possesses at the close of this issue, and her role moving forward, better suits her character. So that was an achievement of this series.

Series is up and down.

Damn... Also I NEED more of the precognitive telekinetic bears from IO-X4

Tremendous art. Quite fond of the way Armor was depicted. Story and arc are still a bit all over the place. Remain interested to see where all this ends up.

Cyclops story is incredible

The Hickman cloud looms largely over this book now. An intriguing ending in this issue ultimately may be inconsequential. For the most part I enjoy Rosenberg's X books (Astonishing & Multiple Man), and since he took over Uncanny has been solid. He said he still has stories to tell, and I will read them.

Truthfully this was more than a wrap of this run of Uncanny. It was the end to Rosenberg's recent X-Books (New Mutants: Dead Souls, Astonishing, MM, Phoenix Resurrection). Some really memorable splash pages.

The nod to Immortal Hulk and Dawn of X was a nice touch.
