Jul 30, 2025I'm certainly enjoying the series overall, but I'll admit that I was wishing for something a bit more serious and intense, though it is following through on the spirit of the original miniseries. It's got its enjoyable points and the artwork works well enough even if it's not my kind of thing, so just spending time with these characters in this period hits that sweet spot. It just feels like there was an opportunity to do something a little richer and deeper here and it went for more standard formulaic stuff instead, which shouldn't surpsei me. Read Full Review
