This comic shows that Doom without the FF is just another generic villain.

I think the art was actually by Cummings and there was some mishap with the credits. Anyway, I liked the issue overall but I can't help but wonder as to what was keeping Reed from developing a cure for the vampires earlier since he did it relatively easily here.

I love the art and JMS can write a great comic but I don't think he's cooking here.

I don't know I feel about the alien relationship stuff but I absolutely love the science fiction aspect of this run.

While the Maker psychologically torturing Reed is definitely something that he would do, I unfortunately felt lost at times with how much the narrative jumped around. Additionally I'm tired of seeing the Fantastic Four being brutalized even though I'm sure Camp didn't do it with malice. Not a terrible comic, just not one I had a lot of fun reading.

Probably my #1 "Comic of the Year" contender.

Honestly the most "fun" I've had with this title since reading the Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo run as a kid.

Not my favorite issue but I always have fun with a classic Ben and Johnny squabble (see Lee/Kirby and Waid/Wieringo).

Probably the most poignant comic North has ever written. I'm sure I'll enjoy the previous story much more once I eventually reread it.

I'm upset because this will be canceled after 7 issues and we won't get another Hawkman series for half a decade as a result. Fuck you DC for failing to promote Venditti and Hitch's Hawkman run and letting it fall into the sales abyss. But what am I saying? We have the illustrious Galaxy and her sidekick Kendra to make up for it.

Beautiful art from Fiorelli. Alicia's narrative got a little confusing for me at times but that's ok.

Really liked Skroce's art here. Fun book.

I don't know why Doc Ock needed to show up, but still an interesting use of Sue's powers. Fiorelli's art is serviceable but not as good as Coello's.
