(Cover Date: August, 1987) Summary: Crystal arrives at the FF's HQ to see her estranged husband, Quicksilver, who is being detained in a holding cell. The psychopathic Quicksilver assaults her, but she overcomes him with her elemental powers. Ben offers Crystal a position in the FF to replace Reed & Sue. Johnny is angered by Ben's offer to Crystal & gets into a scuffle with Ben. Crystal assures Sue that she will not get between Johnny & Alicia. Reed gives Crystal an enhanced potion that will allow her to better cope with Earth's pollution. After the intruder alarm goes off, the FF find Doctor Doom in the lobby. Doom tells them that he wants Franklin to be turned over to him. (Continued in FF Annual #20)
