Summary: The FF are flying home from Attilan in an Inhuman-built gyro-ship when they are intercepted by a squadron of SHIELD jets. A man attempts to escape from Latveria but is met by Doom & his robots at the coast. Having landed, Fury shows the FF the robotic arm that they have captured. Johnny destroys it with a flame blast when it attacks them. Fury assigns the FF the mission of finding out about the secret army that is using the robotic arms. Later, suspecting Doom is behind the secret army, the FF travel undercover by car through a communist country & into Latveria. Their car is pulled apart by magnetic forces, & they are attacked by Doom's robot guards. After Crystal is taken captive, they fight back again
st the robots. The three male members are stunned or gassed into unconscious. The next morning, they wake up in beds & are greeted by servants. Watching them on a video screen, Doom says that he has hypnotized the FF so that they cannot use their powers. The FF meet in the public square where a festival is being held to honor them. Reed tries to walk away but is knocked down by a stun blast. An onscreen image of Doom appears telling them that nobody leaves Latveria & to be happy or die. more
