I don't know if I 100% understand what happened at the end, but North subtly saying fuck you to Slott's stupid retcon gets my enthusiastic approval. I know some people haven't been high on Smith's art, but other than a few panels I thought it was pretty solid. The Namor and Jean pairing is kind of weird but whatever it's an alternative universe.

While I found the the battle with Davos at the beginning to be annoying (as I don't know why they're fighting a DeFalco era villain when Doom has taken over the world), I found Ben's determination to reacquire his powers to be quite compelling (though I'm not sure I understood what happened at tge end there). Regardless, I'm interested to see where this goes in the next issue. While not John Byrne or Steve Epting, I thought the art was solid and didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the story.

I wish the art from Cummings was a bit more dynamic, but this issue did get me interested to see if Reed will end up using magic in One World Under Doom like he did during the Mark Waid ane Mike Wieringo run.

I didn't like everything (some of the dialogue didn't work for me), but the stuff I did like, I REALLY liked. Props to North for that scene where Ben has a one on one with Nikki.

Ben punching Johnny was so satisfying lol.

It's not bad but everything felt too out of order for me.

I liked it but now I have an image of a middle-aged Valeria Richards tripping over a banana peel stuck in my head.

I was a little confused by the technobable in the beginning but that ending more than made up for it.

I had never heard of oh-my-god particles before and now I'm strangely fascinated by them.

I like Mortarino normally but Kamala Khan was drawn pretty poorly here in my opinion.

It's fine, Gómez's art is solid like akways and North continues to provide the Four with good characterization, but I would have liked to have seen a little more tension or problem solving going on between Ben and Johnny.

Wow, I'm actually agreeing with Gabe Hernandez for once. The fact that we're getting this instead of a Hawkman series from Venditti is an insult to me.

I don't think I've ever seen Johnny and Sue use their powers in tandem before.

For 9 bucks I can't recommend this.

1 out of 10 for meaningless deaths. Also, at this point I'd rather gurgle donkey diarrhea than look at anymore of John Romita Jr's art.
