    (Cover Date: August, 1988) Summary: The Black Knight suffers from the curse of his ebony blade after it was used to slay the leviathan. The female Kang (Nebula) creates an illusion of Dr. Druid defeating the Destructikon to save civilization. Captain Marvel returns to Hydro-Base in an emaciated condition & collapses. Nebula travels to Earth disguised as the woman in Dr. Druid's dreams. Dr. Druid uses his mental powers to have himself elected as the new chairman.
