Waste of time? Kind of.

Unfortunately wasn't what I was hoping this spinoff series would be. Dropping for now but will one day come back to read it once it's completed.

Why

Enjoyed parts, but not really a necessary issue besides the "cliffhanger"

Horrible execution of some interesting ideas

Nothing really happened, but the little that did was fairly enjoyable.

Why did foggy send the blind man to find the lost ring

Underwhelming with a stupid "twist"

Why is it that the flash always has to "run faster than he ever has before". I'm sure there is something else you can make the character do. Be creative, it's getting really old.

I mean it's got some good Ted Kord moments but that's it

Nothing special besides the art

Best part about it was the ad for Batman: White Knight

Felt like almost nothing happened in this issue

Solid ideas, very sloppy and rushed execution

Hoping the next issue can revitalize the series, it's really taken a turn for the worse and it's disheartening to see

Run kind of felt like a waste of time unfortunately. Not to say I didn't enjoy some of it, but a lot of it felt like filler and unnecessary arcs. Won't be reading any Spider-Man for awhile I think.

Doesn't really have that special tone that the movie had. Not bad necessarily but so far it just feels like a generic Batman story with a few familiar faces and a fresh coat of paint

Started out stronger than the first issue but the ending was way too abrupt and predictable

Zdarsky stuff was great but didn't care too much for the other stories unfortunately

I wasn't too thrilled by this issue/series until the last page. Now I am officially hooked.

It's crazy how an event that was so disappointing could have such a decent first issue

Nightwing saves a dog and it's cute but there isn't much else to really hook a reader. Hopefully the story builds and becomes more elaborate from here.

There was a Watchmen reference

This is a pretty cool concept, and there are some interesting plot points, but it feels really rushed to the point where the twists aren't surprising because they are quickly set up and revealed. Would have been incredible if each decade was a volume instead of an issue though.

Decent start. Not sure who all the new characters are but I love seeing the original cast. Will be interesting once Roy's sudden revival from the dead begin to affect the story and hopefully we'll see Wally soon.

They just keep making more Shazam characters

Batmite

Needs Murphy art and the story felt very predictable.

Really enjoy the dynamic between the two hero's it's fairly unique

The story is great, probably around an 8, but the art is so horrible at parts it's hard to concentrate.

Very much feels like a forced venom event. Really breaks the momentum the series had

He kills so many people in this issue lol

Felt very rushed and had some holes that needed patching up. It's a classic but it's been done better.

Ending is dumb but we'll see what happens going forward

Feels like they're just doing the same thing that they did at the beginning of the run, going to different flash timelines for the sake of references

Dumb, but enjoyable

Prefer stories like this one or the first issue of this series where it's just fun Batman adventures and they aren't trying to cram in new characters to the universe. Did not care for that HBO max plug though and it's ironic now since they are working on selling the new Batman animated property they had in development.

Oracle bit was lame but the rest is fun

This book is very flawed on a technical standpoint but there's just so much emotion in it that I can't help but love it. One of the best hero and sidekick dynamics.

Stupid in terms of plot convenience but it has some really solid character moments and ideas so I'll forgive it

Solid recap of the origin with some great Ben Ulrich stuff. Would probably reread this issue if I ever wanted to read daredevils origin again

Kinda spoiled issue 5 of devils reign but besides that it was a fun 3 issue story

Pretty fast paced, but Dini's writing along with the art made this issue enjoyable rather than frustrating.

Kind of strange how fast it went from Hush and Batman fighting to a tour of the hospital accompanied by an exposition drop but still a fun issue.

Only bought it for the Worlds Finest set up but ending up reading the whole issue. Really liked the art in the first story and even though I had no idea what was going on I enjoyed it. Second story was ok didn't impress me in any way but I also had no idea what was going on. The Worlds Finest story was great of course. Mark Waid and Dan Mora can do no wrong when it comes to Batman and Superman.

Looks like I picked a great jumping on point. I just hope to see Wally flash soon.

Wasn't following the earth three event, but this was still enjoyable without the context and it's definitely peaked my interest
