Robin #169

Artist David Baleon's pencils are uneven at best, and at most times, entirely too cartoony and light-hearted for this subject matter. With only two issues left, "The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul" is quickly running out of time to turn into the storyline I had hoped for - an exciting, sweeping epic that takes more than a few pages each issue to examine the complex dynamic between the intermingling Batman and Al Ghul families. DC continues to demonstrate its lack of understanding of how a crossover is meant to work. This late in the game, it's not a stretch to say that Detective Comics and Batman are the only important portions of "The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul" while the other two titles are more tie-ins. Unless you're really into these specific characters, Robin #169 isn't worth your time. Read Full Review

I dont really know what to think of this storyline anymore, its been an overall disappointment but at least is hasnt tied into Countdownyet. I really think Fabian Nicieza will handle the next issue well, no matter how strange it will be to see Nightwing and Robin fight. This storyline is wrapping up and has still has two issues to try and make it compelling. Read Full Review

I'm skipping crossovers next time. I read for Morrison and this aint it.
