The Paul Dini backup was more exciting than the main story by Jurgans. Manhke art was very nice this issue

Slow start. Nice enough line art but the colours from Dave Stewart are superb. I have Hugh hopes from this line of Horror comics

Kinda disappointed at first because i thought we were gonna get a Mr Bloom Origin story (SPOILER ALERT>>>>>>> He is in this issue for one or two panels), but when i reread it and started paying closer attention i really liked it, mostly cause the story unfolds a bit like Snyder/jock/Francavilla's Black Mirror arc(one of the greatest Batman stories in recent years). Overall I think this is another great issue in an already great Batman run with some really noirish art from Jock.

It's good. Just not Tom King good

This is the worst trash I've ever read. Edit: Enjoyed the Catwoman prose. but some parts of the issue were a bit too vague 7.5/10

Dialogue isn't up to King's usual standards. Meanders a bit with the Punch/Jewlee and tiger scene. Catwoman hasn't been RUINED!!!!!! (For me at least). Art is very nice. Looking forward to the next issue. 7.5/10

Art is stellar but the dialog feels clunky.

Ooh damn. Already an improvement over white knight in terms of pacing. Whatever Murphy has cooking for the story has me excited.

Art is great. But the characterization feels off. Snyder seems to always pull these long winded speeches from characters when it isn't necessary

The fuck did I just read? It didn't make any sense. And even if that was the point of this series it has to still be enjoyable.

Waste of capullo art. Snyder shoehorning and spelling out the themes with a mess of a story.

Artwork by Derington was great and Bendis' dialogue has a nice flow to it

Another great issue. Good dialogue from bendis though I find Batman yelling out other heroes secret identity a bit outta character.

Pretty standard fantasy world. Dunno why but the use of "fucker" coming from such a Conan-esque character seemed too civilised for me, maybe something like dog raper or whore son instead?

Story telling was a bit disjointed for me to follow along, but the tone and atmosphere was fun

Storytelling is a bit too messy for me to enjoy. That could be the aim the creators were going for but I ended up with a headache by the last page

Outstanding art but bare bones story with no emotional investment.

This issue shows that zdarsky is more capable of a writer than I thought. Plunging daredevil in a world of grit and realism with the help of checcheto and gho on art has me excited for another DD run

Liked the kingpin storyline a tad more. Seeing Fisk feel small in the world of "legitimacy" is great.

Picked this up because i was a massive fan of Warren Johnson's work on Ghost fleet. Was a bit leery initially cause most artist's turned writers have been bad to ok (with a few exceptions of course). Anyway, I think Johnson pulled off both jobs quite impressively (I don't hate the main characteers so chalk that up to a win for the writing)

The writing seems important but isn't. Just feels pretentious

Jeez. This was a gripping read. Pacing and atmosphere kept my shoulders tightened all the way through.

HOLYYYYY. That splash page was incredible. The art by sorrentino is just jaw dropping.

Sorrentino is just making this book come alive. The disorientation he creates with his page design is sublime.

Decent enough start for the main story. Characters weren't to compelling for me so hopefully that changes. Backup of peacemaker by Lemire was the highlight

Dirty and grimy art. Perfect for a story and tone like this

The start of Ellis' six issue is full of nice character moments and a first look at how he handles one of his best works at marvel, Moon Knight. The art from Mckelvie is great set in an underground city with room for him to play around with the unique architecture

Not as strong as the previous issue as i forgot half of the characters in this issue. Art was good with clear storytelling

Shang chi is thrown into this issues roster of Avengers (along with Steve and Sharon) allowing artist David Aja to play around and show off his skill. Aja's use of negative space in particular wowed me as it shows his strong grasp on compostion and knack for figures

Damian is such a little shithead and Jon is naive as hell. I love this book
