Prelude: Last issue blew me away and reminded me why I love Ennis' Punisher so much. Let's see how he continues with this issue. The Good: I liked Frank and Valery's relationship and talk here. Ennis grounds this story in reality and it works. Burrows' art is great this issue. I love Valery's backstory. It can really contrast and relate with Frank's experiences. The Bad: Nothing. Conclusion: A much slower issue than the last especially in the second half but it is what's needed for this story. Ennis is the best Punisher writer for a reason and this is why.

Slower than issue one, but just as good. Garth Ennis is one of those writers that can write an issue that is mostly talking, and it's still more entertaining than most other comics. The writing here is great, as is the art. I can't wait for issue three.
