The art by Andrea Sorrentino is nuts, I will say it's hard to tell what's going on at times but that's the point haha. I loved the spread of the multiverse laid out to see, so super interesting. Probably my favorite issue in awhile. This issue was genuinely horrific. I think my interest in the mystery has been refreshened and I'm very interested in seeing what happens next.

Totally agree! I read this comic in only a few minutes, and was absolutely sucked in. I was reading this in a pretty distracting environment, but all the way, I was 100% in the world of Gideon Falls.

THE GOOD: -I cannot possibly imagine how incredibly brilliant both Lemire and Sorrentino have to be to create an accomplishment such as this issue. It is a work of art. It belongs in a museum. If you are not reading this series, you need to remedy that. Immediately. I'm not going to say much. I think this little section says enough, but I will specify exactly what blew me out my couch and into f***ing Mars. -This comic is inventive. Especially the visuals. Sorrentino knows how to experiment with what a comic can be and what it can look like and really truly succeed. -I don't usually pay attention to this kind of stuff, but the lettering was absolutely phenomenal. This is everything a comic can achieve to be. -The end of last i ssue is executed perfectly. Not overdone, natural, but still as satisfying as readers imagined from the first issue. -Not to mention the original Norton. What a cool character. -That many kingdoms splash page is one of the best things I have seen in my life. -That moment (if you read the issue, you know the one I'm talking about) genuinely had me retching. -And that ending is perfect. -This is not just one of the best issues I have ever read, not just one of the best comics I have ever read, but one of the best forms of entertainment I have ever experienced period. I am really in love with this series. THE BAD: -If you've read this far, did you really think there would be any bad? more

So many new questions. But hot dang if I'm not down for whatever is to come next. Compelling writing, great twists, chilling artwork, period. Now I'm all caught up though, so I'm back to waiting for the next monthly issue.
