1776 #1 is a clash of heroes in a race against time that sets the stage for our heroes traveling to an unfamiliar period in the fight for America. We're met with a collage of excellent team members and familiar historical names. The team lays everything out clearly setting us up for an amazing run ahead.

776 #3 brings the tragedies and sacrifices of the American Revolution to the forefront. Not everyone can be saved in war, and the sacrifices made are told beautifully from Captain America's narration. Everybody should be reading this.

30 Days of Night Falling Sun #2 brings bloodshed and violence to this issue as chaos is just now starting. IDW Dark is nailing the horror elements and the brutality of this story, crafting their universe beautifully.

Its the perfect way to kick off the next entry into IDW Darks new run as the horror elements are nailed perfectly. You can tell the team is a big fan of the property and this will absolutely be a run that will be flying off the shelves! Make sure to let your LCS know you want to pre-order A Quiet Place: Storm Warning #1 as the final order cutoff is Monday, February 2nd!

Matt: Grade 10/10! Absolute Batman #5 is the Empire Strikes Back of DC's All-In series so far. Bruce is broken, beaten, and alone as this issue ends on a massive cliffhanger. I'm truly left in awe of what the team has done in this issue.

Absolute Batman #14 promises an epic showdown building our expectations as well as anticipation and exceeds in the delivery. It is full hair raising action as the story weaves the past with the present capping it all off with a tease toward the future. The best issue of Absolute Batman yet!

Absolute Batman #15 is a truly terrifying issue, bringing us The Joker in a way nobody has ever seen. The art breathes life into this narrative, slow, slow-burning horror, filling it with panels that will leave you wincing. We are not ready for what's to come.

Absolute Batman #16 brings Diana and Bruce together once more and humanizes Bruce in ways we haven't seen from other iterations. I am not done with the adventures of these two, and I would read an entire run of them together.

Absolute Batman Annual #1 brings brutality, important lessons, and, most importantly, we see where he gets his Batmobile! Perhaps one of the most important issues in this young series, yet the team delivers in every aspect, making this a must-read.

Absolute Batman Ark M #1 will send chills down your spine and leave your blood running cold. The horrors of this asylum and its history are captured in detail both through story and the art, and the way it reaches its climax was masterful. There are so many Easter eggs littered throughout that will both excite and frighten readers for what is to come!

Matt: 10/10. It feels so good being in the new and refreshing world of The Flash once more as this alternative take on Wally and Barry brings about suspense and leaves us on a hefty cliffhanger. This first issue has us hooked, and we cannot wait for the next!

Absolute Flash #2 continues to up the stakes and brings the reader into an intense high-speed chase. The chaos and dust left in the wake begin to settle leaving us a clearer picture of what is going on. Oh and did I mention the final page will without a doubt bring a laugh from the audience in which I cannot wait to see?? Read this book!!

Absolute Flash #3 allows this intense and fast-paced story to breathe and gives the reader a chance to catch their breath. Despite this though it is an emotionally charged issue bringing about a team-up that I never knew I needed and finally making me come around to Wally West as the Flash.

Absolute Flash #4 allows us to catch our breath as we are not speedsters and sets the stage for character development and future plot points to pull from down the road.

Absolute Flash #5 is paving the way for the hero that Wally is meant to become by putting him through trials. The relationship between him and Grodd continues to deepen but his relationship with Linda is suddenly of interest as well.

Absolute Flash #6 takes us into the backstory for the Rogues as we see how they came to be and fills us with a sense of intrigue and dread at just what is happening with the government blacksite. It injects new life into this thrilling run, immediately bringing me to the edge of my seat with the shocking ending.

Absolute Flash #7 sets up something big on the horizon and lines being drawn in the sand. Wally has finally stepped into his powers and is becoming comfortable with his abilities, setting up something huge with Thawne and the Rogues.

Absolute Flash #8 takes us down memory lane as we discover the beginnings of what Barry, Thawne, and West were all working on that changed Wally's life forever. It adds much-needed details and clues about what is going on, as well as some familiar names, bringing the hype train to full speed ahead!

Absolute Flash #9 has brought the intensity up to an 11 in this story. Dr. Thawne is proving to be a maniac of a villain, while the Rogues and Wally are forming a sense of bond I did not see coming. The colors, details, and story work from the team have really matched the intensity and engrossed me in this world!

Absolute Flash #10 brings twists and turns that not even Wally West can avoid. Jeff, Adriano, Nick, and Tom continue to add layers and bring excitement to this story in a flashy and clever manner.

Absolute Flash #11 sees Wally coming into his own as a hero and growing his confidence, setting us up for an epic battle between him and Thawne. The artwork and letters are gorgeous, leaning into the mystery that Jeff sets up with his story. This run gets stronger with every issue.

Absolute Green Lantern #2 takes a turn towards brutality and shows the reader that not all alien contact is what we dream of. We are left wondering just what is happening with Hal as some questions begin to get answered hooking me to come back for more. The anime style art with the old school science fiction artwork should be a selling point and a reason why you must pick this up!

Absolute Green Lantern #3 hits us with a shocking ending but, still leaves us with even more questions than answers. The art team is making each panel pop out visually and Al is not afraid of taking risks in this new rendition. I just hope the story starts to move a little more going forward.

Absolute Green Lantern #4 has begun answering the many questions we had been asking ourselves to this point. The action and rich history of the Lanterns are coming out in a gorgeous array of art and storytelling.

Absolute Green Lantern #5 is an emotionally charged rollercoaster as two friends are forced to face off against one another, and a mysterious third party has entered the fray.

Absolute Martian Manhunter #7 brings the series back, highlighting the broken pieces John and Bridget must pick up for themselves. The art is beautiful if not unsettling at times and Deniz has not missed a beat!

Absolute Martian Manhunter #8 displays a society that is slowly collapsing and the struggles everyone faces. We dive into John's mind more and more as he must make a choice: does he save his marriage, or does he give over control to the Martian?

Absolute Power Super Son #1 is another great entry into the Absolute series, blending unique artwork with powerful colors and story. Spending more time with Jon and showing how he is as much his father as he is his own person takes this story to new heights.

Absolute Superman #13 is a powerful issue showcasing tyranny at its most powerful and the will of citizens from even Smallville who will go to extraordinary lengths to protect what they love.

Absolute Superman #14 sees a bloody fight to the death, and justice prevail but not without consequence. It truly feels as though everything has been a prologue, and we are about to get to the main story of Kal El.

Absolute Superman #15 starts Clarks new journey into finding his way as a hero and as Clark Kent. Its full of pain and confusion as he struggles but, that is what makes this story so much fun to read. Jason and the team bring new life and vibrancy into every issue making this book a must read monthly.

Absolute Superman #16 is a clash of egos and characters on two opposite ends of the spectrum. It puts Superman's heart back into who he is and always has been, reminding us that, despite being in a new universe, this is still Superman.

Absolute Wonder Woman Annual #1 may just be my favorite issue of 2026 so far, as it is beautifully done from the story perspective of Diana and her mission to see the best in everyone and everything, to the incredible artwork. This is 100% an issue that should be pulled and put in everybody's box this week!

Absolute Wonder Woman #2 is a grand slam in the new Absolute series DC has cooking. This unique reimagining of Wonder Woman works so well and it isn't all just fighting big monsters as it captures the essence of Diana, Steve, and what these characters are all about. I am in awe of this issue and I need #3 now!

Absolute Wonder Woman #3 is an emotional and action-packed gut punch. This series is standing tall and adding depth to Diana and building tension throughout. You cannot sleep on this story because it has everything you could want and more from DC.

Absolute Wonder Woman #4 continues to be a hit. Diana is a soft-spoken warrior who is full of love and full of heart. I love the continued backstory we are given and this world that is created for the reader. It truly feels the team have only scratched the surface of this story and I cannot wait for more.

Absolute Wonder Woman #6 takes us into Diana's past trials and shows how strong of a warrior she is. The back and forth she has with Hades sets the stage for a big battle looming on the horizon. This team is crushing this issue and I am ready for battle!

Absolute Wonder Woman #7 is an incredible work of storytelling as we see the lessons Diana learns and the choices she makes as she is cemented as the Goddess and warrior we know her to be. I am raving about this run and how incredible every aspect is I cannot get enough!

Absolute Wonder Woman #8 kicks off this new arc by taking the foundation of its previous issues and kicking it up a notch. This is a story that continues to get better with each issue while introducing layers to Diana and bringing in original and fresh backstories and ideas. This continues to be one of the best things DC has produced this year and you do not want to keep missing out.

Absolute Wonder Woman #9 leaves you with a feeling of unease as Diana's path has seemed almost too easy to this point. The team continues to deliver an outstanding story, leaving us craving more.

There is no slowing down in this story as Kelly is bringing heat that is matched with a level of artwork that Hayden and Jordie bring, culminating in a heart-pounding and stunning entrance in this story.

Absolute Wonder Woman continues to defy expectations and bring surprises in every book released. There is so much depth and colorful wonder that this is a no-brainer must-have every single month.

Hayden and Jordie knock this intense battle out of the park. The scenes with Diana standing tall and blood pouring from her face stood out in these panels. It showed her as majestic in a way, and her true warrior nature. There is a scene as well where she is standing over the people of the city, once escaping the maze, and everyone with their phones out; it truly felt larger than life in this moment, and they captured it eloquently. As I mentioned, we get a taste of Themysceria, and it is beautiful and took away my breath in the short amount we did see. I cannot wait to visit here next.

Absolute Wonder Woman #13 is taking us closer to Diana's evolving relationships as she is searching for her lost home. The pieces of the puzzle begin falling in place as Barbara and Diana research with Kelly, penning an immersive story. Matias, Jordie, and Becca breathe life and vibrancy into every panel with their art and lettering, continuing to make this run a must-read!

Absolute Wonder Woman #14 is a giant leap forward for the character of Diana, who must accept death and accept that there is more to this world than needs her. This issue sets up our first major crossover event, and it will leave you hyped beyond belief.

Absolute Wonder Woman #15 is the first big crossover event that pairs two powerhouses together in such a beautiful and powerful issue. This opens the Absolute universe to a larger world and brings in endless possibilities to come.

Absolute Wonder Woman #16 kicks off an all-new arc in explosive fashion, pitting a familiar hero against Wonder Woman and potentially the duel of a lifetime.

The Adventures of Superman Book of El #1 launches us into a story that spans across time and space. We are given enough backstory before diving into the meat of what is to come that it will leave you on the edge of your seat. This will be a must-read for fans of Superman and those looking to get into the character.

Alien vs. Captain America #1 sets the tone for this terrifying tale. Frank, Clayton, Neeraj, and Stefano lean into the mythos of the Xenomorphs and use the art to allow the story to unfold while showcasing the misguided egos of Strucker and his team. This is going to be an amazing run, I can already tell!

Alien VS. Captain America #3 unlocks new horrors and insane ideas. Frank and the team capture the fog of war, mixing it with the science fiction elements expected from the Alien franchise. Alien paratroopers, intergalactic monstrosities, and epic moments. This issue truly has it all.

Alien Vs. Captain America #4 caps off an incredible mini-series with an issue that is nonstop fighting and intense action. It’s full of surprises bringing this dream crossover to life in such an electrifying manner. Make sure this entire run is one you read!

Alien Paradiso #1 brings the Alien franchise to the everyday common man. Taking readers to a relaxed vacation destination before unleashing horrifying and gruesome hell will instantly grasp your attention and raise our heart rates. This will be a must pull for fans of Alien as its a refreshing and unique take. Do not miss out!

Alien Paradiso #2 continues to be an incredible entry into the Alien franchise. The slow building tense horror pays off as the kills are vicious and primal. This is an absolute must-read and pick-up.

Alien Paradiso #3 ups the stakes and has fully settled into itself. There are unlikely team ups being forged and the main thought is surviving. Its adding depth to this franchise in a unique way and if youre sleeping on this run its not too late to catch up on it!

Alien Paradiso is expanding on the lore of this franchise in ways I never thought of, all the while leaning into gruesome and bloody horror, upping the suspense in this particular issue. We are met with surprises and jump scares, making this run a must-read every month.

Aliens VS. Avengers #1 is full of surprises and heroes preparing to make their last stand. Hickman and his team have shown right away that they understand the alien lore and appreciate the material they are trusted with. Four issues may not satisfy how amazing this run is about to be.

This team is crafting an absolute love letter to Ridley Scott, to Aliens, and to our beloved Avengers in such a beautiful way. Aliens Vs Avengers is a story that brought us here to watch Hulk smash Aliens and it has delivered on that and so much more. Fans, this ones for us.

Aliens Vs. Avengers wrap up in such a gross and satisfying way. The body horror fits the franchise themes of horror while our heroes manage to come out on top in the end meshing these two universes together in a way that will have fans of both satisfied and wanting more.

MATT: Overall Grade: 10/10. Aquaman #2 builds off a strong first issue and shows us Arthur powerfully and vibrantly that we have not seen in some time. This run should not be slept on as the team assembled is cementing itself early as an early favorite of 2025.

This has been an extremely fun series. Aquaman is full of power and the lore the team pulls from is both deep cuts and adding to the mythos. There are subtle plot threads woven in which keep me excited. I can't wait to see where this story continues to go.

Absolute Aquaman #5 kicks the action up a notch and further takes us into this world of adventure. Arthur's mission to bring back his people feels a lot like a classic adventure film such as Indiana Jones and even has humor tied into it. I cannot recommend this book enough and you need to be reading this run!

Aquaman #6 feels like the calm before the big rolling storm. The pieces are in place and Jeremy has us set up for an epic showdown with Dagon!

Aquaman #7 sets us up heartbreakingly and powerfully as we prepare for the ultimate showdown between Arthur, Dagon, and a surprise entrant into the battle for Atlantis.

Aquaman #8 shows Arthur in a way we have never seen him before and shines the light on how pure and powerful he can truly be. This fight has been building, and it has been worth the wait as the team sticks the landing, having me dying for more.

Aquaman #9 kicks off the next big arc for Arthur and his team, but does not do so without its fair share of epic moments and a shocking ending. Safe to say this book has swept me off my feet.

Aquaman #10 captures the Halloween episode that you would see in a cartoon perfectly. The team ensure we are able to catch our breath and have a bit of fun while also moving the plot forward and dropping hints at something bigger on the horizon.

Aquaman #11 sets up Arthur's journey into the big KO tournament, showing that the Earth is buzzing long before he enters the fray. The artwork showcases the beauty of the ocean as they effortlessly build fight sequences, taking down each of Darkseid's minions.

Aquaman #12 puts Arthur at the top as a clear frontrunner to win this tournament and delivers an air of confidence and power we haven't seen before in an Aquaman story. This fight is brutal as Rex, John, and Dave show the ferocity of the tournament, while Jeremy excellently showcases this new version of Arthur. IF this issue doesn't leave your jaw on the floor, I don't know what will.

Aquaman #13 teases Arthur's status in the tournament while taking us back to our main story, which thrusts into chaos and action with Mera. I cannot continue to recommend this run enough!

Aquaman #14 is powerful and symbolic. Jeremy introduces the next big villain in a shocking way as the art team matches intensity through detail and coloring. There is so much to be excited for as this run hasn't skipped a beat with Darkseids tournament.

Archie X Army of Darkness #1 transports us into the 80s and into a world of campy, horrifying fun. The clash of personalities is teased with Ash and his brashness with Archie and his naivety. This first issue sets us up perfectly for the story to come. Do not sleep on this!

The effects of our friendly ghost stand out most to me and remind me very much of films such as Ghostbusters in a unique way. Overall, Armored continues to be a standout comic as we deal with the traumas of the past, weave webs of mystery, and hit the right comedic notes.

Batman #4 slowly builds and reveals the powerful mastermind that seeks to rule Gotham's crime, weaving sinister details in the art and story. The team continues to dive into the detective side of Batman, making this a must-read!

Batman/Green Arrow/The Question Arcadia #1 brings to life a new story shrouded in mystery and delivers on the detective noir mixed with adventure. Gabriel, Romulo, and Simon bring these three characters together, weaving together their separate lives and delivering us into this world.

Batman/Green Arrow/The Question Arcadia #2 is full of heart-pounding action and tense moments as the secrets behind what is truly going on begin to unravel. I'm a big fan of this story, and where it is headed, fans should make sure to pick this up!

Batman Static Beyond #1 launches us into the not-so-distant future with new threats and some familiar faces. The team has this book bursting with gorgeous scenery and character-driven work, making this a must-read!

Batman-Superman World's Finest #45 shows two of our heroes' greatest villains come together in a frightening new manner, leaving us with a jaw-dropping cliff-hanger!

Batman and Robin Year One Chapter 2 is full of high-flying action moments and snarky quips from our characters, making this issue hold a nostalgic feeling for the reader. The dynamic between Batman and Robin sucks us into the story making this issue rise to the top of our monthly pull pile!

Batman and Robin Year One #3 is giving us a unique and special take on the relationship with Bruce and Dick. Were getting a behind the scenes look into how they built the bond the duo have and its a very unique and special feeling. The issue ends on a cliffhanger putting the cherry on top of this cartoonesque vibe. This run is going far too under the radar check it out!

Batman and Robin Year One continue to offer glimpses into Bruce and Dick's relationship as they continue to bond. We see Bruce becoming less impatient with Dick as he learns and the duo bond. Built within the background is an intriguing story of an ex-military man organizing a crime revolt in Gotham which sets the stage for an epic first year for our favorite duo.

Samnee and Lopes nail the details when Batman is drowning in the clay and artistically capture the difficulty in how Clayface can melt and mold himself. When it comes to Batman moving amongst the shadows, the aspect is drawn well by Samnee, and the color mash-ups between Haegan moving in the light and Bats in the dark are seamless.

Batman: Dark Patterns #3 takes the horror element, flips this tale onto its head, and brings out sympathy from the reader. There are scenes within that are not for the easily queazy, but this is a comic that should not be left on shelves!

Batman Gotham by Gaslight: A League for Justice #1 is a unique breath of fresh air, taking us to an old western time and good old-fashioned fun. There is a lot of fresh air and a lot to love in this issue that makes it a must-pull!

Issue #2 adds a lot of lore to this take on the Justice League. The differences in personalities mesh together effortlessly, and the artwork brings much-appreciated detail to the action and panels. I need issue 3 instantly!

This run is different and in a good way. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, a League For Justice is weaving an intricate and thrilling tale together that showcases the lore of our heroes in a new way. I cannot get enough of this period piece!

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, A League For Justice #6 is an issue full of cautionary tales, twists, and turns, and shows our league forming an unbreakable bond. It's narratively driven, bringing them together as Andy shows off what makes this team special, as Simon, Matt, and Leandro bring the team to life beautifully. I need more and want to live in this world forever, as it is full of excitement!

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight The Kryptonian Age #2 builds off the mystique of issue #1 as the team delivers a cinematic feeling mixed with intense action sequences and introduces compelling and interesting characters. This issue has fully sucked me in as I cannot wait to see where we go as it appears they will not be staying in Gothams playground only.

Batman the Long Halloween the Last Halloween continues to be a proper sequel and homage to its predecessor by delivering a classic who-dun-it thriller. The team is taking this story and doing it justice making this a must grab Batman story!

Batman The Long Halloween, The Last Halloween #3 leans heavily into the Detective Noir genre as the stakes rise. We are left on a cliffhanger, moving the story into more mystery than action. I'm very much continuing to enjoy this run and it should be a priority to read each month!

Batman the Long Halloween the Last Halloween #5 brings utter chaos to Gotham and rips it from the pages into our eyes. The hours grow shorter and the Holiday passes without getting closer to solving the mystery. It truly feels desperate and I have no clue where it is headed.

Take everything you thought you knew about Battleworld and throw it out because this promises to show us heroes and villains in ways we have never seen before. The high-paced action is crafted through a clever plot paying homage to characters of old, and the art blends it perfectly. This is a must-read!

Black Lightning #2 continues to bring home the action as there are beautifully crafted sequences showing our heroes at work. Meanwhile, the addition of the inner turmoil between Anissa and Jefferson add in layers to this story making Black Lightning a must pull monthly!

Bleeding Hearts #1 is a fun twist on a story of zombies roaming the Earth. It's full of silly moments that have hidden emotional beats within every panel. I cannot wait to read more.

Something sinister is coming, and the way Phillips puts even Red Skull under the spell of Mephisto and his twisted ways will leave the reader with chills as Bianchi and Fajardo Jr invoke a level of unease with the art, making this a must-have issue.

Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1 hits surprisingly close to home and is a narrative-driven character story that will pull you into this world immediately. I left this issue hoping they would succeed in robbing the League, and that is a testament to the work done!

Matt:9.5/10. Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #5 shows the plan in full motion and possible success. But as always, when dealing with villains, not everything is as it seems, and this could only be the beginning, as the gang may have bigger problems than the Justice League!

Daredevil #19 is going to change Matt and the reader's lives forever as his choice in this issue looms largely on what is to come. There is yet more mystery as Fisk makes an out-of-character choice with his money and sets the stage for the next arc ahead.

I can't help but feel this is Daredevil and Marvel's "Dark Knight Returns" momentthe art nails down that aged and ragged feeling and vibe. Charles is back in the driver's seat, showing us that Matt is in a race against time, bringing finality to the story and character with this tale. I truly feel as though when all is said and done this will be an instant classic.

Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell #3 is a poetic tragedy from start to finish, leaving you with tears in your eyes and vivid, gruesome images in your memory as it wraps up in a haunting yet somehow hopeful manner.

Dark Knights of Steel Allwinter #1: Deathstroke is our return to an Elseworlds story set in an ancient time where anything goes. We get anger, rage, blood, and complex emotions immediately. This issue gives us a taste of what is to come and is one to watch for going forward.

DC Horror Presents Creature Commandos #1 is an emotionally chaotic ride from start to finish. There are breaths for the story to unfold and action when needed, making this issue a must-grab for New Comic Book Day!

Ferran does some extremely fantastic lettering in this issue, implementing styles that showcase the horrors the team faced on their first mission and the screams of anguish as they lost a team member. When it comes to art, there is a gritty and rough style to it, which fits the theme once again and endears itself to the horror aspect that this story falls within. We get to see flashes of the team's unique powers and their grotesque skins that you can almost feel show that Hervas and Guimaraes feel at home in the story.

As we begin to reach the climax of this 6 issue story, the team gives us hard-hitting action mixed in with a slow and suspenseful sense of dread. There is something awaiting our team and it has me hooked and eager to find out just what fates await them. The characters have added depth and the imagery sticks with me in every page flipped. Six issues may just not be enough time with these characters.

There is so much going on inside of this issue, but at no point does it ever feel overwhelming. Jesus and Alex draw and color the panels. They break them up in a way that flows smoothly from one sequence to the next. When the issue turns from action and into horror, they match it, drawing these creatures in grotesque detail and shadowing the colors to fit how we have changed directions.

Since I cannot give more than a ten, I will just say that I had to take a lap after reading this issue. DC K.O.#2 is incredibly intense and will give you heart palpitations as it delivers on the chaos and the action. The art team nails the moments, allowing everyone to get their moment in the spotlight. This story is so unique and will leave you asking just how they can top this next.

DC K.O. is going to blow minds as we cut the field down to the final four standing. It seems something bigger is lying just ahead, and with what is teased at the end of this issue, is any indication, I'm not sure we are ready.

DC K.O. #4 is the perfect penultimate issue as we near the end of the tournament. There is an insanely amazing amount of detail in the artwork, with twists and turns throughout every single page. I’m ready to see how this ends as they’ve built up the anticipation to perfection.

DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 brings us that classic crossover we used to dream about sitting in our rooms as kids. It's full of action, and every universe has a moment to shine and stand out. This is a must-grab issue!

DC K.O. Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna #1 hits hard as two friends are forced to fight and put their personal feelings aside. It delivers on hard-hitting action and hits hard in our emotions. This fight stands out in every way and is the best so far!

DC K.O. Superman VS Captain Atom #1 throws us curveball after curveball, keeping the audience at the edge of their seats. It's an intense and powerful battle between two of the strongest heroes, leaving only one winner standing.

DC K.O. Wonder Woman vs Lobo #1 is excellent! It captures both personalities and how each loves a good fight. The art captures the spots and the joy these two have in fighting, as well as the size of the blows they come to. Not to be lost in the fray, but the background story of what is happening on the Watchtower will suck you in just as much, if not more, as Darkseid always has a backup plan.

Knightfight really undersells the fight aspect, as this is an issue that is boiling over with intense fight sequences crafted around a picturesque Gotham City, while Williamson is leaving clues as to what is really going on. This issue rocks incredibly hard, and I instantly need more.

DC K.O. Knightfight #2 is making the heart of Darkseid a really powerful foe and diving into Batman's fears as well as his rich history. Visually, this may be one of the best colored and drawn books I have read this year, and I cannot get enough!

DC vs. Vampires: World War V #1 launches us into a hopeless world where humans are hunted and all seems lost. The outstanding artwork and storytelling grab us immediately and hold onto us throughout the issue. This is going to be one horror fan will want to grab onto as we enter the fall months.

DC's I saw Ma Hunkel Kissing Santa Claus #1 is the perfect issue to get you into the Holiday spirit! It can be a stressful time, and everyone working on this issue brings exciting messages and artwork that delivers the spirit to us at the right time.

If you have ever just wanted to go on vacation but the forces of the world were determined to ruin that, then this issue is for you. It is a light-hearted adventure full of action and emotion in which there is certainly a story inside that will steal your heart.

DC's Zatannic Panic #1 is the perfect thing to get you into the Halloween spirit! There's something in here for everyone, and each story sets its own very high standards.

While we may still not know what is fully happening with this voyage, Endeavour #2 brings about conflict and character development for our core cast. It leaves you with an unsettled feeling in the pit of your stomach, and the ending drops a big cliffhanger on us in a way I'm not sure how I can wait until February!

Event Horizon: Dark Descents #1 creates a sense of danger and unease that builds in the pit of our stomachs and never quite leaves. Fans of this franchise will want to check this out and move it to the top of their pull list without a doubt!

The gates of hell are wide open in Event Horizon Dark Descent issue 3. There is chaos and death all around, and the team working on this book extracts every bit of horror from the panels and into our stomachs perfectly.

Fantastic Four #2 lures us into a false sense of security before flipping the story on its head and proving that Doom truly is all-powerful. This was never going to be an easy fight nor a fair one, which makes this a must-read.

The Flash #28 features a battle between two long time heroes with very opposite outlooks on this tournament and history. They have been tried and tested through time and leverage their experience into one visually stunning battle. The multiple storylines being weaved throughout this issue take us on an excellent journey that at no point becomes too confusing but rather hypes us up for what is next.

Geiger #5 shows our heroes in an hour of desperation, and the reader does not know what will happen next. This story takes a drastic turn, leaving us gripping each page tightly and our hearts racing. The Ghost Machine team has settled in and hit their stride, and this run is a can't-miss.

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #2 is everything that comics should be and everything you want from a collision of Marvel characters and the King of the Monsters. It is full of epic action sequences and hilarious character interactions that will have you glued to the pages.

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #3 brings the intensity to a whole new level and gives our X-Men a chance at battle in ways we have never seen before. The team is in stride and continuing to elevate this run as something larger looms on the horizon.

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #4 sets up for an epic and powerful ending as we see Hulk and Godzilla locked in battle with every hit shaking the universe. This issue has everything fans have dreamed of!

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #5 throws everything plus the kitchen sink at the audience in this issue, allowing us to feel how much fun this run has been at every panel and page turn. The art team delivers on the big moments, and just when you think Earth is saved, Gerry drops a bomb in the epilogue of this story, setting the stage for something massive!

Godzilla VS Avengers #1 is a fresh and fun take on the latest Godzilla series. This team meshes up well and their banter as they recount the events is top tier making it fun. I cannot wait to see where this heads in future issues.

Godzilla and Boston are two entities that are steeped in history and full of lore. This kick off issue pays homage to the power of both respectfully whether in Godzilla's god-like power or its citizens ability to be resilient. Godzilla vs. Boston is an epic way to kick off the Godzilla vs series and will have readers excited for this country-wide tour!

Godzilla Infinity Roar #1 takes the blood feud between the Marvel Universe and Tohos Godzilla to entirely new levels of destruction. Just when we think they cannot top certain moments, Gerry and the team find a way to blow our minds even further. Make sure to add this to the top of your pull lists!

Gotham City Sirens #1 brings us back into the kick-ass world of our Sirens, holding nothing back. It has heart-pounding action, beautiful eye-grabbing art, and a cliffhanger, leaving us needing more. You had my curiosity but, now you have my attention DC.

This was a fun first issue as it is perfect for DC's dark they have been working on and for Halloween. The team bring Green Lantern Dark #1 to life in a ghastly and yet hopeful way showing that even in our darkest hour there are lanterns of hope!

Green Lantern Dark #3 ups the adventure and horror factor in this issue bringing about chaotic creatures making this issue a lot of fun to read. This has been a silent sleeper hit for DC and one that I hope more people start to pay attention to!

Hyde Street #2 delivers another intense issue that is steeped in a slow-building sense of dread amongst bloody panels and excellent character development. Horror fans, there is no longer an excuse not to get your hands on this tale, as Hyde Street is hitting all of the right beats satisfying the reader with every panel.

Hyde Street #3 is a cautious tale of a Santa gone rogue but, moreso how our upbringing can leave us with choices of how we choose to live eternally. The team introduces moral conundrums and even brings in a frightening character leaving us with the thought of redemption that we did not know was possible on this demonic street. Mr. X-Ray and Pranky are being built up to square off in an upcoming battle and one I cannot wait to see unfold.

Hyde Street #4 is a horror from another angle. This time, it is a mental horror of being trapped with your own mistakes, and it's an issue full of raw emotion that shows the diversity of characters trapped within the hell of Hyde Street. This issue levels-up the series to new heights. DO NOT MISS OUT!

The Ghost Machine crew has done a terrific job giving us a character to loathe and hate in Pranky which then causes us to excuse the faults of Mr. X-Ray and the other residents of Hyde Street. Between the visuals and Geoff's work on the script, I cannot help but be immersed in this world and want to help bring this villain down. Hyde Street #6 has catapulted this run to perhaps my favorite horror run to date.

Hyde Street #7 takes everything that we thought and flips this world upside down with a massive twist into something sinister and darker than we have seen before.

Hyde Street #8 may be one of the most important issues yet in this run, as it feels as though we are on the cusp of something truly horrifying. The art and story are seeing alliances form in ways we did not think would come and they may need these before long.

The more we learn about Hyde Street and its residents, the more dread and horrifying this story becomes. This is how horror books should be done, and this issue made me feel the most uncomfortable out of any previous ones. I need more, and you should be putting this at the top of your list this spooky season!

We have re-entered this world without skipping a beat making me realize just how much I was looking forward to this second part. Issue one takes us to familiar places and ups the ante a bit more giving the reader a taste of what is to come with this second part. This is an absolute must read!

Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong pt 2 #2 continues to elevate the world-building and storytelling, making this run a monstrous hit.

Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong 2 #3 adds lore to the creatures the League is forced to square off against, while pairing heroes and villains alike together in fun and intriguing ways.

Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong 2 #4 continues to create bigger and bigger moments and spots that deliver in heavy-hitting ways. You feel every punch and every moment in this issue as the art team pulls out the tops and Brian gives us enough that will keep us salivating for more.

It may be Thanksgiving, but it feels like an early Christmas present as this issue brings the heat. It is a violent and action-packed issue where you can sense just how angry these creatures are and how heavy the blows hit. It's visually stunning as this story continues to get better and better!

Justice League VS. Godzilla VS. Kong 2 #6 sets up an epic and monstrous fight that looms on the horizon by taking everyone back to their corners of the ring to rally and prepare. I don't think we are ready for the big fight, but I can promise I need it now!

Dark Horse Comics has been building the hype for Kill All Immortals, and it delivers in a jaw-dropping brutal fashion. Wrought with intense action sequences and suspenseful character-driven moments, this first issue masterfully announces itself onto the scene. Make sure this finds its way to the top of your pull pile as it is can't miss entertainment.

Kill All Immortals #2 packs a heavy punch as the heart-racing action continues the more desperate Frey and Sordinn become. The team assembled on this might be a gold medal contender because of the way they intertwine action and emotion.

Kill All Immortals #3 continues to deliver intense action; however, it takes a step back slightly to explore the complexity of family dynamics and trust. Freya is a badass Viking who simply wants to be left alone, and she has the heart set to take it as far as she needs to achieve it.

Kill All Immortals #4 takes an emotional step back to allow its audience to take a breath before cranking up the action in more heart-pounding ways. Frey continues to cement herself as a bad ass and the audience is left with a cliff hanger questioning everything we have learned to this point.

Dark Horse has assembled their version of the 92 Dream team with Kill All Immortals. The story is a web of lies and mystery that ends on a massive cliffhanger setting the stage for the future. The art team is raining bombs from beyond the arc as every page, panel, and character has so much life to it. Hassan facilitates through the lettering bringing one of my favorite 5 issue runs to life. I cannot wait to see where this story goes as the potential is endless.

Kill All Immortals is back without missing a beat as the Asvalds, who were once the hunters, have now become the hunted. Zack sets up this story by making you question everything we've known to this point while cranking the stakes to 11. The team of Fico, Thiago, and Hassan fills the panels with elegant and gruesome battles. Get back into the world of Kill All Immortals. What are you even waiting for?

Kill All Immortals II #2 is a beautifully narrated story that shows the Asvalds in a vulnerable state for the first time in this series. The action kicks off in a burst of flames, and we draw closer to the hidden secrets behind the immortal powers gifted to the few. Be sure to dive into this story immediately and pick up volume one!!

Knull #1 is an epic re-entry into this terrifying villain. Knull may have met his match but, the cat and mouse games between he and Hela have only just begun.

Matt - Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton #2 is an emotionally draining and heart-wrenching issue that builds up the anger inside of you and then leaves you with an air of happiness in the end. Hats off to the team!

With much more focus put into the art rather than the dialogue of the characters, I'd say this was beautifully made by the creative team, who have yet to miss in this run.

Krypto the Last Dog of Krypton is an emotionally charged issue that will have you in tears. It is tragic, and the power and emotion behind the art and story make this the strongest issue of the run, and I cannot wait to see Summer.

Doctor Doom and Rocket Racoon is a buddy comedy through the expanses of time that I did not know I needed this week. The humor and level of seriousness in the search for the meaning of life are appropriate given the current world. It offers an excellent escape and some laughs. This is a must-read issue!

Marvel Zombies Dawn of Decay #1 is a fun spin on the Marvel Zombies franchise by teaming up Groot and Hulk in an unlikely manner. This story is going to be a fun and intense one as we are only getting started.

Marvel Zombies (Red Band) #1 jumps straight into the flesh-eating chaos of a zombie outbreak and puts a nice twist on it all at the same time. The team holds nothing back and captures our attention immediately. Make sure to pick this up!

Marvel Zombies: Red Band #2 pits our favorite heroes against our favorite undead, blurring the lines of enemies and friends. The issue paints a bleak outlook with an epic surprise ending making me need issue 3 ASAP!

Marvel Zombies Red Band #3 calls for desperate times and takes us to some pretty intense places at the same time. This is Marvel Zombies in a way we've never seen it before, and you will not want to miss out as it is equal parts terrifying, funny, and packed full of surprises!

Masterminds is preparing to take us to places I don't think readers have been before. This first issue kicks off in a big way as we are met with twists and turns, setting up this mysterious crew known as the Masterminds. Fans of thrillers and action books or movies will need to put this issue at the top of their list as Zack, Dark Horse, and the whole team have something special cooking.

Masterminds is full of twists, turns, action, and real-life consequences. Zack truly makes us feel as though we are immersed in this mysterious game, and the art team is delivering panels of suspense in all the right ways. Dark Horse Comics has something special cooking with Masterminds. Make sure you enter this game!

Masterminds #3 blends genres as we move from adventure into a suspenseful thriller in the hunt to uncover The Masterminds organization. The issue is ripe with hints and clues, leaving us mulling over every detail Stephen and Thiago draw out as Zack and Hassan drop subtle hints through the story and lettering. The ante has been upped. I cannot get enough of this run!

Moon Man #3 builds upon the first two issues and develops characters we fall in love with within a story that has action, loss, love, and a shroud of mystery all in its pages. The team has created a pressure cooker that is slowly gaining steam and will sure soon come to a head in. what I expect will be epic fashion.

Admittedly I have never been overly familiar with Mr. Terrific as I have only read him in Justice League issues. The team on this run has me interested in the opening issue of this new run in the All-In series as Michael's story is heavy and important. If you're looking for a great diving-in point for Mr. Terrific, especially before his debut in the new DC Universe with Superman, then this is the issue for you!

Mr. Terrific Year One #2 shows that this character and Michael's story are setting up to be a vital driving force in this DC All-In run.

Mr Terrific Year One #3 sets us up for DC's big event that looms on the horizon and also takes us back in time, showing the important growth Michael faces to become the hero we know today. It's a must-read for fans wanting to learn about the character!

Things are heating up, and it is exciting seeing the inner workings of Michael Holt's mind as well as Bruce testing him all at the same time. It's not too late to dive into this terrific story!

Mr. Terrific Year One #5 brings Michael's heroic backstory to its climax as we see him rise p and become the hero we know and love. This issue packs a strong punch both emotionally and artistically as we finally get god damn Mr. Terrific.

Mr. Terrific Year One #6 captures what it means to be a hero to perfection and showcases Michael Holt as he transforms himself into a figure of hope. Al, Edwin, Marissa, Valentine, and Lucas do an amazing job bringing us closer to this character, and I hope we continue to get more!

Ton and Rain did an incredible job making the mutilated clones look similar to faces we know from our Avengers but, the twists they have put on them make it that much more fun and horrifying. Namor's clone being a light blue octopus of sorts was a fun design and seeing the duo take up the task of being creative with these creatures enhances this issue. Laura's slashing and blood-soaked introduction is a close second as the art doesn't shy away from how violent she can be. Tie it in with Joe bringing the heart and words to life and this first issue kicks ass!

The New Avengers #2 brings in a new era of heroes who may or may not be ready for the task, but, giving fans plenty to be excited for.

The New Avengers #3 keeps on giving in terms of surprises and all-out action sequences. Each character is full of vibrant personality in their own way that fits the tone of this new team and continues to draw me into the story. This is the Avengers in a way you have never seen before, with unexpected alliances!

New History of the DC Universe #2 is a must-read. The history of comics can be confusing, and yet the way this is being told breaks everything down in a way we can easily understand. The artwork stuns and shines as it brings a flurry of emotions with every panel.

New History of the DC Universe #3 brings us into some violent and turbulent time periods for our heroes as they are put to their extremes. The entire team is doing an incredible job at capturing these monumental moments in history. Make sure to grab this book and the whole series to understand the full history!

As we finish up with The New History of the DC Universe, this final issue puts an exclamation point on an excellent series. Every major event and every minute detail was captured by the teams who worked hard to catch new and old readers alike up on the history of our beloved DC Universe. I will be referencing these books for years to come!

NYX #2 is a violent entry into this run as we meet Laura, AKA Wolverine, and she holds nothing back in her quest to save fellow mutants. This run should find it's way into your weekly box at your LCS as the team is just getting started.

This first double-feature issue is immensely fun, and the action is fast-paced and intense. Peacemaker and Vigilante are captured so well and their personalities are shining brightly through the page in this issue. I cannot wait for more from this crew!

If you are a collector based off of cover alone then look no further as Mitch gives but a taste of what we can expect to find inside of the pages. Vigilante attacking a giant robot is hilarious as Eagly rushes across. Inside Mitch is bringing these comedic moments to life such as the shocked and disturbing looks on everyone's faces as he begins to get erotic inside of the library. The issue is not without bloodshed and a jump scare as he lands the rough and damaged texture of Mr. Saber's face after he was attacked.

Peacemaker Presents: Vigilante/Eagley Double Feature #3 continues to deliver grotesque action along with well-timed moments of humor. You go from looking away to laughing throughout issue 3. With two issues left I don't think I am ready nor do I have any clue how this will end!

Peacemaker/Eagly Double Feature #4 is full of bloody action and will have you in shock at a few surprise scenes. Setting up for the big finale, I can only imagine what the team has in store.

Issue 5 brings us to the end of this short run, but, holds nothing back in terms of violent and grotesque action and even some action in another way. I absolutely loved this run from front to back and fans of what James Gunn is doing with Peacemaker must make a mad dash to pick this up!

Planet of the Apes Versus the Fantastic Four #1 throws us into a blend of modern-day heroism and classic 60s nostalgia with both the Apes and our First Family. This is a great blending of two famous properties done in such a loving fashion!

Planet She-Hulk #1 is the total package! The team brings action, adventure, and relatability, and pulls us into this world from the jump. Jennifer Walters is the ultimate badass, and I cannot wait to see how she navigates trying to leave Sakaar with the mystery behind Myrren's death.

Planet She Hulk #4 takes an emotional toll on us as it is heavy from start to finish. She Hulk must battle her own emotions while balancing the lives of an entire planet which is no easy task. The entire team is continuing to deliver such a fun story that keeps the reader engaged every step of the way.

Plastic Man No More #1 is a surprisingly emotional and grim take on the cost of being an outlier with quirky abilities. We see beyond the jokes and how they could truly hurt even those who make them. The coming issues set us up in a nuclear way that this will become a must follow.

I thought I was ready for what this issue would bring us; however, issue 1 of Predator Kills the Marvel Universe is every bit violent and brutal as expected, but elevated to 11, surpassing every expectation and making it known right away that nobody is safe.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #2 is violent, brutal, and will leave you feeling hopeless. The shock and awe of the brutal assault led by Kraven is here to shake up the Marvel Universe and making this a top issue of the year.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #3 will leave you truly hopeless as the Yautja have planned the perfect assault led by Kraven, expertly taking down our beloved heroes one by one. This issue has been a masterpiece with Ben, Frank, Daniel, and Clayton bringing this horror to life.

Just when we thought all hope was lost, Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 hits us with a healthy dose of action and hope. The art team captures the action and excitement as Ben Percy is setting our heroes up for a triumphant comeback that would make 28-3 look like child's play.

Predator Kills the Marvel Universe #5 is a violent and brutal ending to this assault from the Yautja in a satisfying manner. This may be the end, but like any great story, there is always a tease of what's to come. The Predator Kills the Marvel Universe may be the run of the year, giving fans everything they could have imagined.

Predator Versus Black Panther #1 starts as a love letter to both Black Panther and Predator, giving the perfect reason for the impending fight. It does more telling than showing, which is not bad in this case. This first issue has me extremely excited about what is to come!

Predator Versus Black Panther #2 continues to world-build both sides and brings them head-on in clashes that will excite Marvel and Predator fans. The lore is built upon and enhanced in this issue, and we are building anticipation for the great battle between T'Challa and the Predator.

Predator Versus Spider-Man #2 is subtly adding depth to the Predator lore and furthering their story while introducing us to stomach-wrenching scenes. Setting up this three-way battle is building anticipation at a perfect pace that I cannot wait to see pay off.

Predator Versus Spider-Man #3 turns up the heat in terms of action and stakes. Setting up an epic final issue, I truly do not know how this will shake out.

Predator Versus Spider-Man #4 ends this iteration with a huge bloody bang! It doesn't quite feel like the finale for this set and gives you a future to look forward to as we move through the Predator versus series at Marvel.

The Punisher Red Band #2 builds the anticipation and suspense by laying out Fisk's plans through a creative monologue matched with artwork showing Fisk in a way we have truly never seen him before. This is Fisk on a level that will shock fans without question.

Redcoat #4 delivers emotional character development entangled in good old-fashioned buddy cop fun and action. The cliffhanger at the end came as a massive surprise to me as I did not see it coming, which makes this story add a layer of complexion to it. Midway through the year, this may be the comic of 2024.

Redcoat #5 continues to take the history we all know and turn it upside down in an emotionally charged, action-packed way. The art is astounding and the story continues to take us one way and then pull us another without warning.

Redcoat #6 wraps this tumultuous arc by showing that there is more than meets the eye with Simon, and unlikely allies and courage can be found in even the most unexpected places. This may have been my favorite issue of the series so far, as it delivers emotion and action. The cliffhanger in particular has me on edge, and I can't wait to see where it leads next!

Redcoat #7 is the emotionally wrecking epilogue to the adventurous tales of Simon Pure and Albert Einstein. It is a goodbye to a friend that I think many readers can connect with and especially for those of us who have had to say goodbye many times to those we have loved. This is my number one pull this week. Read it.

Redcoat #9 is a love letter to narrative stories reflecting on past events. Simon's adventures continue and weaving historical characters and fun events into his story is what makes this comic stand out on its own. This issue is no different as it is a palate cleanser from the previous darker issues and sets us off on a fun childhood-inspired adventure!

Redcoat #10 continues to keep Simon's adventures fun and exciting and the audience on the edge of their seats. His journey through time has us ready to see whom he crosses paths with next; all the while, there is a larger story being told ending with a bit of a cliff-hanger. Redcoat continues to be one of my favorite comics out at the moment!

Redcoat #11 continues to display why this creative team is a well-oiled machine taking the readers through their version of history. The artwork in this issue is stunning and Geoff is building up towards something special with this arc. Redcoat continues to get better and better what else can I say?

Redcoat #12 brings about very real themes and consequences to this typically fun and adventurous historical tale. Simon finally is shown that his selfishness has dire consequences and his actions impact not only him but other's lives. This issue cranks the story up a notch the pure delightful storytelling and artwork is on full display.

Redcoat #13 continues to peel back the layers and dive into Simon's mind and what he stands for. This issue puts his morals to the test and had my heart racing at times!

Redcoat #14 takes us step back into the fun and adventurous side of our story, but not without stunning moments and teasing what is to come.

Redcoat #15 slows down the story and allows a moment of bliss for our beloved anti-hero, Simon. It's an issue full of joy and hope and overdue reunions with a very important cliff-hanger on the final page. This is the comic I needed this week.

Redcoat #16 raises the stakes for Simon. Up until now, we have followed him on a selfish journey, which has changed with him having a family and the return of Benedict Arnold. Can Benedict be trusted, and is the clock simply ticking on Simon's perfect life? I cannot get enough of this run. I could read it daily if it released!

Sam Wilson, Captain America #1, bursts onto the scene with soaring action and excitement. Sam Wilson deserves the shield and the entire team takes the opportunity to showcase why. It's been a while since I have been excited for a Captain America run and this has me very much intrigued. Make sure to pick it up!

Sam Wilson Captain America #2 continues to up the excitement and action with Captain America facing off against a highly smart villain in Eaglestar. Greg and Evan leave us off on a cliffhanger with no clue how the team can bounce back from the ending of this issue! The artwork displays the powers and fighting powerfully as this comic continues to have my attention.

Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story #3 is full of twists and turns, with each panel keeping us guessing. The lines between who is right and wrong get perfectly blurred in this issue, leading us to a tragic cliffhanging ending. The world of Hyde Street takes no prisoners, and this is a perfect example!

As we set up for the finale, there are no happy endings with Hyde Street, and Sisterhood is yet another example. The team delivers a tragic and horrifying tale, setting us up for an epic finale.

Snotgirl #16 reminds us of what we have been missing, which is this fun world that allows the reader to escape into incredible adventures and the spirit of love. Being back with Lottie and the crew just feels right, and I cannot wait to continue picking this series up!

Spider-Man & Wolverine is a test to see how long audiences can hold their breath, as this issue holds nothing back, knocking the wind out of the readers' lungs with every powerful punch thrown in this epic fight.

Spider-Man & Wolverine #3 has taken us on a windy thrill ride as the moments we catch our breath between intense fighting for their lives, the heroes are at odds, leaving us deep into a compelling mystery that pays respect to Wolverine's history and Peter's will to never quit.

Spider-Man & Wolverine #8 strengthens the bond that our two heroes are building and continues to keep us on our toes! This is a classic run in the making, and one everyone needs to be reading!

Spirits of Violence #1 bursts onto the scene in a demonic and fiery way. There is something large and dangerous on the horizon that Danny must decide where he stands if he is going to overcome it, and thankfully, he is not alone. This issue is a must-read for fans of Ghost Rider and its lore!

Ewoks #1 transports us back to a familiar setting with a familiar friend and foe. The Ewoks now have individuality about them, which intrigues the reader as we learn more about their species. The forest moon is ripe for adventure and this should be one Star Wars fans immediately grab from the shelves!

Star Wars: Inquisitors #1 brings us into a post-Jedi world and manages to keep the hope alive that this franchise is so well known to do. I enjoy getting to learn more about The Inquisitors and spending time with them and other Jedi in this post-Order 66 galaxy. It expands upon the lore and allows us to return to this galaxy far far away.

Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #1 does a wonderful job tying the family connections of Kylo and Vader together. It adds depth to a conflicted character. The art and story combined show that this team has a deep understanding and appreciation of the story they are fleshing out. I am hooked and cannot wait to continue on this journey with Kylo!

Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #11 is the perfect setup for an epic conclusion. Kylo Ren has fought his way through the worst the galaxy has had to offer, as Vanee becomes ever so sycophantic. I cannot wait for the big finale!

Street Sharks #3 brings us a different side of the boys as they get to feel normal for a change, and this also leads to potential disaster! Dr. Paradigm is working on a sinister plan, and the entire team on this run grabs you with each issue, pulling you into a fun world that makes us feel like that kid again!

Supergirl #1 is a powerful introduction to this new series making this god-like hero feel relatable in terms of returning to her hometown. This run has my interest and I am excited to see where it leads!

Supergirl #2 is a fun adventure that dives into important themes such as identity crisis and finding yourself while feeling lost in the shadows. The colors and panels are beautiful and the story is a blend of superhero wonder and sympathy.

Supergirl #3 hammers home the theme of compassion and kindness, wrapping up this mini arc while setting up more to come with a cliffhanger at the end.

Supergirl #4 is full of growing moments and eye-popping artwork as the bond between Kara and Lesla continues to grow, bringing us a fun and exciting new hero to the town of Midvale!

Supergirl #5 brings about a change of pace and a fantastic new art team that injects even more excitement and adventure as we spend out day with the beloved super pets!

Supergirl #6 is a look inside Kara's mind, taking us on a journey that teaches us that our past helps to shape who we are rather than define us. It's an excellent spooky time read for this season that continues to elevate this already fun run!

Supergirl #8 brings me back to the classic Christmas specials that would air every year. It is full of life lessons as Sophie brings so much heart to this issue. I cannot get enough of this run, and it is severely underrated. More people should be reading!!!

Supergirl #9 raises the tension amongst our friend group and drops a cliffhanger like an anvil at the end of the issue that will certainly leave audiences clamoring for the next issue.

Superman 33 brings Lex Luthor and The Demon face-to-face as round 7 kicks off, bringing surprising victories and stellar storytelling to this intense tournament. This is a hidden gem and underrated fight you must check out!!

If you needed one book to bring your excitement for Superman's release in theaters, then let Superman Treasury 2025 be the one. It is packed full of action and heart that will leave you full of the joy and hope that the world needs right now. This is what Superman is all about.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 kicks off this big year-long event by IDW in a hate-fueled, fist-clenching way. Nothing is being held back in this story, and if issue #1 is anything to go by, nothing is off the table as far as they will be going. We are left yelling at the sky as this issue ends in an epic cliffhanger and needing the next issue fast. Fans will not want to miss this and will want this run at the very top of their monthly pile.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #2 creates tension and anticipation and shows us that even if we have everything we could ever want, there could always be something missing. The action is intense, and the anger and brutality leap from panel to panel. This is an absolute must-read for every issue!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3 brings us to the eye of the storm that our turtles are finding themselves in. Much like the eye of a hurricane, it moves quickly as the ending brings more chaos and sets us up with a grand reunion, moving this story forward. If you are not reading this story monthly, you may just be missing out on one of the best stories about our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

TMNT #4 is a dark and somber tale and a reminder that not all of our heroes live happily forever. And yet, amongst the tears and broken Donatello rises a hero from the ashes, much like a Phoenix, in such a way that will make the reader shout for joy. Could you get your hands on this issue and grab a box of tissues? This one's terrific.

Overall:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5 is a kick ass epilogue and has the first arc ending with a bang. Our heroes are in for a rude awakening when they return and the cliffhanger this issue leaves us on brings about an audible gasp. Catch up now if you havent because this is going to be talked about for years to come. 10/10 Ninja Stars

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #6 kicks off this next arc of a tragic story. The Turtles are at odds with themselves and the place they call home. It continues to stand out for me as a top-tier story and one everyone needs to be reading.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 ushers us into a new era for the beloved brothers, but not without adding mystery and shock to the fold. This issue should have fans talking big time, and everyone needs to get their hands on it!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Casey Jones #3 packs a brutal punch and shows how far Casey Jones is willing to go to save those he cares about. Something sinister is happening to the mutants, and we are just getting started.

The Bat-Man Second Knight #2 is a haunting book full of horror elements and stand-out moments featuring Batman and Superman alike. Dan's creating a dark story with the help of Simon and both Mikes that feels grimy and grim, and yet we cannot look away. This book is a welcome change of pace for Batman, and you need to be reading it!!

This run continues to endear itself to me and crafts a beautiful story about brothers learning to trust each other and build relationships. Damian comes from a toxic environment and is haunted by his upbringing. He is trying to break the cycle, which we can see from our robber's viewpoint as well. The Boy Wonder is a unique entry into the Bat-Family and tells a story from a unique perspective endearing itself to readers of all ages.

The End 2099 #1 is the perfect telling of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The team pulls out the child-like spirit of picking your favorite teams to fight against one another for the fate of the galaxy in an epic opening issue. As someone who was cautious diving into this, it is friendly to those who may not have a lot of knowledge of these characters and a perfect gateway into more.

There is a lot of mystery and story-building happening in this opening issue of The Exorcism at 1600 Penn. Slowly showing us the darker forces at work while building this subplot of more happening at large within the. White House and Beyond gives the reader something to be hooked on. Looking to cozy up with a spooky comic this season? The Exorcism at 1600 Penn is the right one to kickstart your night!

The Horizon Experiment #1: The Manchurian starts this anthology run with a compelling story of a unique spycraft set in Chinese espionage. It is a character-driven tale that uses action only when needed and shows how there are more than stereotypical spy types out there.

The Moon is Following Us#1 is a heart-pounding adventure, asking us how far we would be willing to go to save those we love. Its pages contain haunting creatures, badass side kicks, and hearts. This story will jump to the top of pull piles, rightfully so, as it is a can not-miss read.

I am incredibly invested in this story. The Moon is Following Us both captures a child's imagination in scary ways and also plays into every parent's fears of something happening to their child. It's colorful and creative in every way possible and everyone should be pulling this each and every month immediately!

The Moon is Following Us #4 brings this story to its climax. As the final battle looms we have so many questions and so much action that we are left wanting this story to never end. This may be the best arc. Image has released in 2024.

The Moon Is Following Us #5 ends the first arc in a shocking fashion. Our heroes are left with little hope after suffering betrayal and defeat at the hands of someone they thought was a friend. It brings the sad death of a favorite character and gives us a path to saving Penny. I need issue #6 RIGHT NOW!!!

The Moon is Following Us #6 kicks off a new arc in grand fashion. The battles are more brutal than ever and the new characters we are met with bring new life into this story. The whole team has only somehow upped it a notch and found a new gear making this run an absolute must-pull monthly.

The Moon is Following Us is truly an emotional rollercoaster of a tale. Every time we think that we're about to taste victory, the crew takes us on another loop and reminds us that there is always more yet to come. It's gripping and continues to bring me back and keep me engaged and I love this tale.

The Moon is Following Us continues to level up storywise. Things get darker and the character development is top-tier as the art and action continue to build into this beautiful yet haunting story. Issue 8 is another breathtaking entry into this tale!

The Moon is Following Us has been a perfect run and this issue remains no different. We have reached our breaking point and as things begin to wrap up the team shows they still have more up their sleeve to show us. I was not ready for how this issue ends and I don't know that I am ready for this run to end!

The Moon is Following Us ends in such a beautiful and heartbreaking manner. The team brings out every emotion as we go through each panel and caps off this beautiful story. This is how you end a story and this is how you make the reader feel something. This entire run was full of amazing action sequences and written so exceptionally well. This is going to be talked about for a very long time.

DC's All In continues to be a home run as The New Gods #1 is another stellar entry. The art and the story give us an exciting first issue and I feel as though this run may vital to All In. Make sure to pick up this issue and give it a shot you won't be disappointed!

The Principles of Necromancy #4 is a blood-soaked finale full of twists and gore. Horror fans will be raving about this comic for years to come, and it would not be surprising to find it a staple in the genre. This is how you do horror and horror with a twist. This may be the end for now, but we need the reign of Doctor Eyes, and we need it ASAP.

Michael: 10/10 - As far as Punisher books go, this is as close to perfection as I believe I'll ever see in my lifetime. The art shines and the writing and torment are something truly amazing and absolutely felt by the reader from start to finish.

Terminator #1 brings back the horror aspect to the franchise and adds new lore and a sense of wonder. What was in the bags the duo would never speak of? What exactly is this machine they were up against? So many questions and so much excitement I cannot wait for issue 2!

Terminator #2 continues to capture its audience by giving an unstoppable killing machine meeting humans who are no match. I do wish this issue gave us a little more as it feels as though it ends abruptly, but that keeps me coming back for issue #3 as I am overall enjoying the series!

The Thing #2 brings the detective work to a head for Ben as he battles not only his past but also Kingpin and what he truly is up to. There is a lot of heart in this run, and fans should give it a chance, as I think they will be pleasantly surprised.

The Thing #3 has something for everyone. You have intense action with characters you wouldn't expect, culminating in a shocking surprise appearance setting up the next issue, and you have dialogue that brings life and authenticity to the characters at hand. Each issue makes me fall more in love with this run and moves it to the top of my reading list monthly!

The Thing #5 concludes this short story and teaches us all a lesson in real life. Bullies are weak and scared, and it's how we respond that truly matters. There is a hero within us all, and this issue is something I think the world really needs right now. Go pick this up!

Two-Face #1 is another entry into the world of Batman's rogue gallery, bringing us a compelling character-driven drama focusing on a beloved character. Getting to spend time behind the faces and into the mind of Dent will be one of the most interesting things DC has done. I cannot wait to see where we go!

Two-Face #2 builds upon this mysterious story of who is out to bring Harvey and his work crashing to the ground. We see both the smart and short-tempered sides to him in this issue and begin to understand the relationship connecting the two sides of his personality. The art is incredibly vibrant and impressive capping off an intriguing second issue.

Two-Face #3 continues to be a sleeper hit for the DC brand as the twists and turns this mystery takes have it standing out head and shoulders above any typical crime thriller. Christian is adding depth to Harvey Dent and adding to his lore in such a unique manner that more fans need to be reading this story!

Two-Face #4 is the best issue of this series yet as it explodes with emotion and colors. We dive into Harvey's backstory revealing motivation behind the anger and emotion buried deep within. I can't get enough of this run!

Two-Face #6 wraps up this tragic tale of one of Gotham's most notorious DAs turned criminal. The banter within the courtroom and the shocking finale cap off an incredible run that this story was. I would love to dive into more of this criminal underworld of Gotham City with this team at the helm!

I tend to leave Wolverine to Lauren but, when I heard Chris and this team assembled I had to get in on the action. Ultimate Wolverine #1 did not disappoint in the slightest. It is violent, it is bloody, and most of all it is an issue full of mystery. When we aren't gasping from claws through the face of a character we are asking ourselves what happened to Logan and what is at play here. This comic has it's claws sunk into me.

Ultimate Wolverine #2 continues to be a gruesome adventure that is just making me a Wolverine fanboy yet. Two issues in and this is already a top comic book run on the year! OVERALL GRADE: 9.5/10

Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #1 is a powerful entry into this world of classic monsters that Image has been crafting. This story is full of intrigue and emotion that will surely leave the reader left in awe.

Frankenstein #2 is more than creating a monster; it builds the characters we often forget exist in this story. The subtle lines and hints do so much to make the world we are playing in you care more about their stories than you do the monster. I am extremely intrigued to see where this story finishes I have no doubt the final two issues will be just as good as the road so far.

Frankenstein #3 sets us up for the big finale in this iteration of the classic horror tale. This issue is all about the heart and allows the reader to connect with the characters we haven't spent a lot of time with setting us up for an epic finale.

Frankenstein #4 is the grand finale in yet another addition to the Monster-verse that Image and Skybound have created. This ending is full of tear-jerking emotion, hope, and leaves us thinking even after the book has closed which is a testament to a truly incredible story.

The Invisible Man #2 continues to build anticipation and intrigue as we know Jack's endgame but not his full motivations. This slow-burning tale leaves us questioning just who is good and who is evil, all in the name of science and has me ready to pick up the next issue immediately.

Universal Monsters Presents: The Invisible Man #3 reveals the shocking truth of what Jack has been working on terrifyingly, as he will do whatever it takes in the name of science, even if it drives him mad in the end. This is the perfect book to read as Halloween approaches!

The Mummy #1 brings a lot of emotion to the classic story of this monster. It's a tale of emotion and tragedy and issue 1 sets the stage and gives us background as we approach the story ahead. It's yet another great entry into the Universal Monsters comics.

Werewolf By Night Blood Hunt #1 packs a vicious punch as it enters the Blood Hunt story. Jake is filled with rage but a sense of duty and caring, while the bloodthirsty vampires and demons will attack even kids to achieve their quest.

Zatanna #3 is perhaps the best issue yet. It is full of heart-pounding moments as Zatanna is at her most desperate and I am left wondering how she will make it out. The art is full of horror shots and astounding art and colors. I cannot tell you how badly you must be reading this!

Zatanna #4 feels as though everything has been built and the pressure cooker is ready to explode so to speak. Jamal has brought her to her weakest point and is now bringing her to face a difficult choice and I cannot wait to see this story explode with magic and Zatanna not hold back. I implore everyone not to continue to sleep on this run as it has been one of DC's strongest in their latest new series!

Zatanna #6 wraps up this first arc in a burst of colorful magic and a blend of heart and perseverance. Jamal takes his talents to new levels, and the story matches the energy every step of the way.

Zatanna Bring Down the House #2 launches us further into the dark and mysterious depths of magic and introduces concepts that suck the reader in immediately. It is quickly climbing the must-read pile for myself, and I would recommend new readers and old alike to dive into this!

Now that we are three issues in, I fear for some, this story may be moving too slowly and not have enough answers. It is not going to be for everyone, and this issue may be a make or break for readers. We continue to get breathtaking art, but the story has yet to truly reveal much, leaving us waiting for something more to happen.
