Oct 07, 2026The future of Boston Brand is anything but linear as the Gr33n offers an assist. Prince continues to push boundaries with the writing. Morazzo & O'Halloran craft unforgettable looks while moving Brand thought the unknown. A story unlike anything else at the shops keeps its’ winning ways. Read Full Review

Oct 07, 2026The Deadman #5 has a ton of great ideas packed into a very short ride. The future DC concepts, morality questions, and clever callbacks make this an enjoyable chapter. Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Prince had enough material here for a much deeper story. With the first arc coming to a close, I’m still invested in seeing where Boston Brand’s strange journey leads, and hopefully the finale gives some of these ideas the space they deserve. Best DC book this year by far

Im enjoying these Deadman comics, they remind me a bit of the recent Absolute Martian Manhunter series, mostly because every issue is a whole different thing and feels completely unpredictable and I really love that feeling that anything can happen. In this issue Deadman leaves heaven, but ends up in a futuristic earth in which everyone answers to "the master". Loved the authors take on Swamp Thing which feels like the complete anti-thesis of the original Swamp Thing who was all about nature. This one, is actually made up of cables and wires! Keep the craziness coming, I'm enjoying it.
