Well, I'm surprised to see the low critic reviews for this issue. I loved it. Great art, great action. I don't think the reveal was supposed to be a surprise, Loki is on the cover afterall.

Not an interesting tie in so far. Despite some voluptuous art. I think I will drop this book at least until civil war is over.

Super cool. Cant imagine how they will wrap it up in one more issue.

Demons are fun!

The pacing was a little weird, but good moments.

Im taking off .5 for the 30 pages of ads they stacked on and charged us $2 for. Still very much enjoyed the comic. Picking up where Superior Spider-Man left off. Nice.

A spidey storey with heart. The art/colour duo worked better this issue than last. Was great actually.

I am probably one of the few that enjoys the clone storylines but introducing a virus is pretty damn lame!

Ugh the price. Cant, in good conscience, give it a high rating, despite some promising developments and art.

I do like Superior Octopus. But.... After Slott has built this story for the last few years, it really has never paid off, we have this Peter who isn't comfortable in his own skin (or suit) anymore, and what? now the whole payoff of Parker Industries is it's going to be torn down in a tie-in book? At least Superior Spider-man was worth the journey, this is just blerghh..when can we get back to a good story with some emotional weight and investment? ....despite having some fun action scenes. I have no problem with Dan Slott. Just look at the Silver Surfer books, they are heart wrenching right now. When can we get that here, Dan?!

What a nice surprise seeing Smallwood and Bellaire as guest artists this issue. Great one shot.

This was surpsingly good. SPOILERS: .... Funny how they tease Zodiac as maybe the focus of this arc, and then bang crash he's done. lol. I think Dan Slott was kinda paying service to the fans who most all said no one gives a shit about Zodiac. haha I mean I found the original arc entertaining, but certainly didn't need a second arc in as many years.

Get on with it already... Another kinda one-off/set up adventure, that kept referencing things I didnt read from the Annual and Venom inc, that I don't care about, as if they were trying to give relevance to the random plot points. Cool to finally see MJ and Peter trying to work things out, hopefully a sign of things to come, and not just wiped out by the new writer(s). If I had to guess, judging from Dan Slott's basic ambivalence towards the MJ relationship for most of his run, I would hope that Marvel told him to put MJ in to set up things to come in the next arcs. The art was OK, except for MJs face, unless Hawthorne was trying to make it look like she had really bad cosmetic surgery, if in which case total success! Ok, done, my ranty/mean review. ...Oh wait no Im not!.. LMAO off all the speculators buying multiple issues of this and then trying to sell them for $15-20 on ebay, when it still doesnt have the first app of the Goblin/Carnage hybrid. Maybe they should have read it first....smh.

You know, I didn't consciously realize there was no text until after I finished. Now that's good storytelling!

I dont like batman. There I said it. I find the strength of his stories revolve around the supporting cast and villains, they all make him a better character. And this story was kind of the epitome of that. Long live BatCat.

psycho batman is the only batman I like lol (see: White Knight as well). The writing was a little confusing, but that was also clearly the point. Art was amazing and enjoyed the first appearance of Batcock

it was fun. Although he kinda seems a lot like Deadpool right now with the sass, loose morals, and scarred face though. Let's see what they do with him. The split personalities is interesting.

I mean, I liked it - was a fun read. But it was just all action. Barely any story or dialogue. Not the best #1 comic for new readers.

Crazy that even in her own book Carol's character is being thrown under the bus. That said,I enjoy the focus on Alpha Flight. Give them their own book and get them out of this runaway train. Also where is Anka?

This book started out so great and then civil war just destroyed it and her character. Alpha Flight has been great but I wont be continuing with the Mighty Captain Marvel.

The good: -jaw dropping art -great character line up -I actually don't mind the writing. The issue was actually more direct because we had issue #0 and the FCBD issue. Maybe pacing was an issue if you didn't read either of those The bad: -price

Very unbelievable motivations. But the art is great. I also like how Bendis features the characters he writes in other books.

OK, I think we've all accepted that the premise of this story is fucking stupid and the character motivations are extremely unbelievable. That said, this issue provided strong emotional interactions between the characters that was somewhat satisfying. And the artwork is mind-blowingly good. I feel safe giving this individual issue a 7.5. Might've even given it an 8 if not for the inflated price.

For once I agree with the haters. Shameless cash grab. I wish Bendis would admit it.

Somehow I enjoyed the 0 issue, but not this one. All of the story elements were rather contrived and the art wasn't enough to save it. Nice covers at least.

I remember feeling slightly disappointed that the last arc wasnt quite as epic as they seemed to be hyping it as with the whole "Rise of the Robots" summer event thing last year...but this current arc, which is undoubtedly the climax, has been non-stop epic.

Love the discussion between Jean and Logan about fate and choice, one being from the future the other from the past. Alas, not particularly a fan of Ramos. Some good moments though. Sweet action at the end.

I really liked it and the magik story at the end. Ramos art is finally growing on me.

I'm glad readers are finally warming to Lemire/Ramos X-Men. Wish critics would feel the same. It's annoying seeing a critic score of 6.9 on an immensely entertaining issue.

Good, but felt like it was missing any real stakes. Kinda knew collosus had to turn back and apocalypse had to go, and we barely knew Sapna, so no great loss?

Strong emotional interactions and the art seemed to get better with each page (or else I warmed to it over the issue).

Lemire doing his best work with these one shots at the end of his run. Sad! :(

Every time this series started to gain momentum, an event shoved it off the tracks....and now it's done. I feel slightly disappointed, because Lemire is my favourite writer. If only he had gotten the series at a different time. Somehow I doubt he will come back to it after this.

I always enjoy my time with Bendis' Guardians...but this book had no plot whatsoever...blablabla who's side should we take mixed in with some Rocket wisdom and jokes.

Great art and a strong introduction to the arc, I just find t a bit jarring having such different versions of the character (Power Man and Iron Fist vs this)

Surprisingly good. Better than the first issue. Gives us a hint of what we can expect for the rest of the arc, and great to see Danny getting his mojo back, he was just depressing in the first issue.

The next Saga? probably not, but still REALLY good.

Great counter take on the current marvel landscape. Seems JJ is fed up with all the superhero antics and probably hiding her daughter from it. The mysteries make it feel like a real detective book too.

I almost thought he was going to leave it unexplained when Maria says to her "you solved the case" and we still dont know whats going on. But then in Bendis fashion it is casually revealed a few speech bubbles later lol. The resolution was indeed satisfying and the art as always was top notch.

This book is a bit of a mess, clearly an "indie" comic, but it's kind of my guilty pleasure. I love the setting and ideas, and the art reminds me of that from LOW.

started good, then jarring artist change like 5 pages in, and weak shoe-horned ending. How did she defeat the phoenix? She talked it down saying she needs to be given the chance to live, blablabla. I mean it was still an OK issue, just such a weak resolution. The interaction between Logan and Jean was A+ though.

Great art and covers in this series. Story was just fun. No real emotional connection to Cap's journey.

WHAT?! Its ending at issue #14?!!! lame! Felt like he was going to continue exploring this story for a long time, and he even admits that in the note on the last page, but says that the story just came to a natural end for him.

Preface: I love Jeff Lemire, he is my favourite writer. Review: This finale fizzled for me. Felt like he kinda phoned it in, and there werent any big revelations. Last issue when he wrote the letter saying that the story just came to a natural conclusion for him, I thought OK and was expecting a really satisfying conclusion. In the letter at the end of this issue, he kinda re-states the same thing but then adds that at one point he had hoped to revisit Royal City for many years, but recently it felt like more restrictive than anything (I forget the exact words, but that was the idea), and this sentiment is what comes through in this issue. I feel like he is just letting it end, rather than this being some well formed conclusion. Still... great series, just hoped for more from the finale.

It seems like we've been having 3 issues of beach showdown now lol Its like Dragon Ball Z style or something. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but not sure I love the pacing.

Probably the most intense comic I have ever read. To be fair, I'm fairly new to comics. But still gotta give this one a 10!

Beautiful art and great continuation to black hammer. I wouldnt even call it a tie in or a spin off, this book is filling out and furthering the story. Makes me want to go back and read Black Hammer from the start to see if I missed anything.

I don't dislike ford's art,but I hope we see more Stacey Lee in the future.

Silk grew into one of my favourite characters, and I loved how Tana Ford got better and better with each issue. This finale you can tell was probably an idea for an entire arc but since they knew it was ending they crammed into one issue. The villain would've been more impactful if we had more reference for her. But to echo that other user's comment "fuck Marvel for cancelling this book." They better start a new volume within a year.

An average opening issue with great art where not much happens. But I have really high hopes for this series, and I think this is a decent set up issue.

Im conflicted with whether or not to continue with this series. Pros: great art, Chewbacca!, Imperials will be coming next issue. Cons: weak supporting cast, mediocre plot, 5 issues is really stretching it for this story so far. Well I'll decide in 2 weeks if my money is better spent on something else...

Strangely weak issue

It took me about 15 issues to start really appreciated Larroca's art, but I really love it now. Or maybe he's just getting better ;) Anyway, series is as strong as ever.

I'm a big starkat fan, but this 3 issue second arc offered nothing. A story any of us could have thought up and if anything I'm less excited about the couple's future now that I've seen how boring they can be. I hope the main GoG books builds on the relationship where this one did nothing other than leave them where they already were (albeit not engaged)

Just re-read this book from issue #1, and what an amazing first arc. Near perfect, imo. Count me in for the next arc. I just hope more people start buying it so it will continue.

What happened to the beauty? :'( 2nd arc seems to have very little to do with the disease at all, which I thought was the driving force of the story. 2nd arc is not living up to the 1st, which I loved so much. IF they have a third arc I hope they forget about this arc and build off the first.
