• An interstate missing persons case should be pretty open-and-shut for a pro detective like Jessica Jones - especially with the help of Kate Bishop, A.K.A. Hawkeye, A.K.A. L.A.'s newest P.I. extraordinaire.
•  Turns out taking a back seat isn't something Kate excels at...and it doesn't help that she's so eager to show her mentor how sick her super-sleuthing skills are.
•  The two gumshoes will have to find a way to work together if there's any hope of tracking down their missing starlet...
•  Don't miss "WHAT WOULD J. JONES DO?" Part 2!

I love this series man. What do you want me to say? Hawkeye is the book you read last because you know it's going on New Comic Book Day because you know it's going to be clutch. Comicosity - Aaron Long

Hawkeye #6 is an entertaining read in what has been a string of great issues in this young series. Thompson has a wonderful handle on the characters, Walsh captures their personalities well and Bellaire immerses the readers into Kate's world with colour work that captures your attention and doesn't let it go. Check this comic out, you won't be disappointed. Read Full Review

There is more than enough heart here to carry this book. I'm not sure that it will reach the heights of its predecessor but it has more than enough merits on its own to make readers care and invest in Kate's adventures. Read Full Review

Prelude: Thompson has been going extremely well on Hawkeye so far. Let's see how she goes at the end of this first trade. The Good: Kate and Jessica's back and forth was great here. A real highlight of the issue. I do like that so far Kate has taken both main opponents down through peaceful methods. Pizza Dog is here! Walsh's art continues to be strong. The Bad: Don't like the Inhuman tie. Marvel just keeps forcing that one down and I don't agree with it. Conclusion: While I don't like the Inhuman tie as it feels like Marvel is forcing that on a bit too much, this is still a great issue. Kate and Jess' dynamic is wonderful and I really like how Kate has faced her foes so far.

Kate and Jess solve their case once it becomes clear that Dhalia is a shapeshifting dragon Inhuman. This team-up fizzles at the end, due in no small part to the complete exhaustion of Michael Walsh's artistic talents. The ties to the title's growing long-term story about Kate's dad are pretty cool. There's also still plenty of wit in the Jessica/Kate team-up, but by the final (poorly-rendered) cliffhanger panel, I'm very ready to welcome regular artist Leonardo Romero back.
