Very unique storytelling makes this issue a worthy finale for Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. People who read the first issue will instantly recognize the scenes and dialogue that were present at the birth of this series. It's enough to make a tear roll down my cheek just to see such a beautiful series end so perfectly. The writing makes this issue more about being a happy story than the typical violent, brooding dark style of Scott Snyder. This is an example for all other comics that they should be as powerful as this one. Not just to include action or humor but emotion, things that can make you tear up written by the same guy in the same series that previously used humans as dartboards. It's so hard to get over how little of a bang, how contained the creative team ended the series. It's perfect in that sense and that's the way I want it.

This is an excellent issue. Geoff Johns successfully captures the tone and meaning of the original Watchmen in a worthy sequel that adds new characters to the franchise very smoothly. The dark and gritty nature of Watchmen as well as it's political significance are well represented here. Gary Frank's art is also perfect. It is the perfect kind of gritty, dark art we need to rival Dave Gibbons' original artwork. I can't wait to see where they go with the series next!

At long last, we have the characters of Watchmen meet the DC heroes. I am already loving the Rorscach/Batman dynamic! This is another great issue in the series that actually lives up to the hype, unlike Before Watchmen. One thing I would love to mention is how perfect the new characters Mime and Marionette are. As Watchmen is such a gritty subject, it is surprisingly nice to have these characters as the comic relief of the series. I especially want to highlight Marionette as being the better version of Harley Quinn. Gary Frank's art is only getting better, and his depictions of characters like Dr. Manhatten are excellent, in that excellent flash back scene. Speaking of Manhatten, the suspense as to where he is hiding is one of the most well built up mysteries in a comic I have seen. As to the twist at the end, it is pretty much perfect as it makes you want to see how spoilers is alive. A really great issue, highly recommended!

Wow. Just wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. It has been a long, long time since I enjoyed a single issue that much. The suspense and level of fear Lemire crafts are impeccable and wonderfully transferred by artist Andrea Sorrentino. This could easily become the best horror comic of the century and if the rest of the issues keep up, it could end up being one of my all time favorites.

Justice League brings to mind the success involved in the darker age of superhero comics such as Watchmen or the Dark Knight Returns. It also manages to balance that with humor and enjoyable characters/dialogue. A true, honest to goodness superhero comic, I give Justice League #1 an A+

While the first issue was successful, Justice League shows less quality in art and plot. This is the first official comic book to ruin both the Flash and Superman in 20 pages.

I hate to say that this issue maintains none of the wonderful things found in number one. The plot carries out okay. The art's getting better, but the issue feels so empty, dry, repetitive and bland.

This issue brings back the kick-ass writing in issue #1. This issue brings back the coming together of a team and shows less of heroes fighting each other and more of them fighting together. I am thoroughly impressed that this issue managed to get some consistency in the repetetve villains of this series. Mark me as impressed.

This issue is terrible. Cyborg is a character that nobody really cares about. The conflict becomes overused and boring. Jim Lee's artwork really is terrible. The plot, art and everything else in this comic is down the drain. I'm trying to like this series, but issues like this are making it hard.

I am truly blown away by this issue. It manages to wrap everything together, create a perfect end for the series and gives us a taste of action humor and character growth in better ways than before. Definitely the best issue of the series, Justice League #6 shows exactly how good team comics can get.

So. This is Robert Kirkman's "amazing" new series. What this series is is disappointment. The lack of dialogue may seem like a cool effect, but in this scenario, it makes the story more confusing and more reliant on the art, which is basically reliant on the story. It is fine, just not good enough to carry the whole book. The story is also way too rushed and should be built up more rather than dropping you into this world with no further explanation. I would literally not even care if a single character died because Kirkman, the damn creator of Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon creates bland and boring characters that are just too average to be anything good. All in all, Oblivion Song is an interesting premise, but executed extremely poorly.

A great issue. The art is terrific. Great delving into the Odinson's character. My only minor quibble is that the Tolkien-sized fantasy is not as huge and overwhelmingly cool as The Mighty Thor. Still, the next issue looks better, with Beta Ray Bill, one of my all time favorite Marvel Comics characters now added to the story.

Honestly, the main thing going for this series is the phenomenal team lineup. Taylor is great at characterizing these people too. Jean Grey feels more alive than ever. The story and art are very basic, but still higher than the other X Men comics out there today. One complaint I have is that the child mutant feels unnecessary and kind of annoying at this point. They easily could have left her out, although I have no doubt she will serve some purpose at the end of the story arc. Whether it's worth it, we'll see. But overall a very decent issue that for once actually caters to the fans.
