This a fun, smart, and original fantasy comic that hasnt stopped delivering the goods. Image and Mark Millar are a marriage you can always count on. Aside from its somewhat jarring narrative flow and the villains' downright bizarre actions to end the book, Reborn is good fantasy comics. In short, this is a fine comic created by masters. Theres a lot to be said for an already successful team that doesnt just rest on its laurels. Reborn is evidence enough for us that Millar and his various creators and titles have not settled for complacent name recognition. These books are not being created to simply dominate the new release rack or for quick sales. No, these books are being created for the purity of the art form, and seem to be as fun for the creators to make as they are for the readers to absorb. This series continues to be good fun, but the first couple of issues raised some ideas that haven't really been worked or developed in the intriguing fashion I thought possible. Instead, it's a very well drawn book with a pretty good story. I like it but I'm not married to it.

the art of Capullo, Glapion and Plascencia is awesome. The guts, blood and body parts flying everywhere is amazing. I loved how everything wasn't solved in one issue and they make it known that they have to fight their way out of the gauntlet. Hoping to keep up the bloody good work.

This title was definitely overhyped. While most Image titles are sleeper hits that slowly gain more and more fans, this was a 180. It started off interesting and then just bottoms out with nothing too memorable. Let's face it, you're paying for Capullo's art not Millar's mediocre storytelling. If you're like me, you got addicted to Capullo's style of art during New 52 Batman and reading this to curb withdrawal symptoms.

My problem is with the story, it seems completely superficial. What seemed like a good idea hasn't really worked. The main character is rubbish, she's a like a glamour model hanging out with her dad and nothing seems real. Like, why the hell is she wearing a dumb helmet? When the capture her, why don't they remove the helmet? Why do chains mysteriously vanish and people suddenly die everywhere just ...because. I get this was the weakest issue. only reason I've given it 6 is because of its art..!

Maybe not shitty writing, but absolutely no originality whatsoever. Capullo is seriously carrying this book. On a side note, where the f**k is Jupiters legacy 2's #5 at?!?!?

This is ... terrible. The plot is as deep as a puddle. The baddies are just totally evil, there is no attempt at giving them a motive. The moment when Bonnie was menaced by her (evil) ex-cat was when I knew this infantile tosh was not for me. Dropped.
