Frank tieri has outdone himself on this entire series. The pacing , the heroics all of it just works. We get some fantastic art as well. After the huge letdown that was all of the Predator kills series and Predator vs , finally we get yet another alien series that delivers the goods. Hickman nailed it on avengers aliens. And this book is no different. Hats off to the team on this one. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Buy this series.

One of the best books I’ve read this year. New fresh ideas. Some call backs. A awesome character finally getting treated like the near God he is. I love it all. Standing ovation 👏🏼!!!

I love this series. issues 1 and 2 were fantastic and this has been the best work of Jeff Lemire in recent memory. With that said, we need to be able to move on in comics from bringing up and retconning the past. It's always been hinted about Ronnie and Martin. But the "grooming" just doesn't sit right with me. We didn't need it and thats what holds down this issue being as good as it could be. Overall it's still strong and one of the best series in DC comics and I want more!

I have never been a Tony Fleecs fan. I enjoyed the first 3 issues of Feral before it became annoying, and I stopped buying it . With that said , I admit I was apprehensive of seeing his name on a Deathstroke book. But why not ? I really enjoyed this first issue. It's fast-paced, and it’s Slade doing what he does best. The plot was basic with Slade on a job with little intel who contracted him. Then it all falls apart, and we end on a cool cliffhanger with Slade looking jacked up and the odds against him. It's enough to make me very excited to see what's next, and while some of this got very exposition-heavy, it was just enough not to be eye-rolling, so it lowered the score, and I wanted a little more plot, but...Well done bringing this long-mistreated character (I’m looking at you, Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths) back to his roots. The art was top-tier also.

I'm digging what Tony Fleecs did in this issue. I just need a little bit more storyline for this to land more. The issue reads at a pace that its frankly exhausting. and very little is being explained. It's like watching John wick on fast forward..however, im here for it. I love the character and it's nice to see him finally get some respect again. Carmines art is gorgeous though a few panels are hard to follow. over all really good stuff !

Battle Beast is back after a hiatus, and man did I miss this book. We get a slow down this issue while all our cast of characters heal up, and (imagine this Spiderman death spiral) we get character development plus plot progression!! A top book continues to be awesome despite the mellow tone of this book. The art is fantastic and detailed. Welcome back, Battle Beast!!

Battle Beast continues to deliver a solid book. After a cool down last issue, we more than make up for it this time. Battle beast is at his most Savage. Chopping off faces and feasting on the Brains inside and licking it clean... disgusting and awesome! while I felt the book is pushing too fast to get to the next plot , it still works overall. Art is fantastic and look like we are getting more Conquest. I wish this wasn't a prequel because we know how it all ends but this will do for now. Highly recommend!! its mindless fun but in a sea of bad X-men books its what I needed.

This issue is just a filler issue. Literally very few things happen. We get some nice character work of Battle beast actually admitting he has a friend wth the new ruler of the planet. and finally we get Conquest at the end. I must admit this was my least favorite issue of the series but hey , they all can't be nonstop action. This issue is leagues better than anything Marvel put out this last few months. having this series being prequel means we lose all the stakes , battle beast dies much later, conquest the same. so the battle can only go so far. but thats fine with me. I know someone of Kirkman's talent will make it cool anyway.

loved but the book. conquest vs battle beast. my biggest complaint with the book... it can't progress with any actual stakes. we know how each dies because we already saw how each of them die. so the stakes are limited. its just cool stuff. and im ok with that. However im really tired of the obsession with conquest. hes not that interesting to me. but when books are not that good this week... I'll take this anyday.

Battle beast #11 Wow This was fun. Huge battle. Funny chemistry between the 2 as they bash each other all over the planet. No notes. Give us more of this. Im sad the stakes are diminished since it's a prequel book but im still enjoying the run.

As a series - Scott is over the top. This series is ridiculous. Yet I come back each time and I care about the characters. I want to see what happens. This issue has good character work and is a good reprieve from the usual insanity.

The book opens with a young Pamela and her Mother in the first of a few flashbacks. these run through the entire book and really do a good job of fleshing out the origin and motivations of young Pamela all the way to adulthood.We are then launched into the usual Synder spectacle. Batman emerges with huge chain saws attached to both arms. We of course are told numerous times these aren't people anymore giving Batman full car blanch to chop everyone up. Page after page Batman is confronting grotesque monstrosities and chopping them up. All the while Alfred is feeding him info to move the story along. We get confirmation that Jim Gordon is with Bruces Mom which you’d have to be blind to not see coming. The final few pages highlights exactly why the series is so successful. Just the keep you reading factor. Everything ends on a cliff hanger and this is no different. Ivys form reveal is something out of Resident Evil end bosses and then the final surprise at the Epilogue.Very Cool to see the court. Scott Synder Continues his nonstop thrill ride of a series that makes you dying to read the next issue. It’s a big silly action movie of a book that 17 issues in ,has me wanting more.

Absolute Batman #18 was a fun issue. I really think the last 2 issues have been more of the Batman I want.At least when the focus is on Batman. Absolute Batman #18 has none of the Giant stadium filling villains full of ridiculousness and dumb things . We get a lot in this issue. A great story with Batman vs Ivy that has played out wonderfully.( Spoilers- Gordon admitting he knows who Batman is,Harley returns, and Martha Wayne with the Court of Owls expanded a little more. Batman proves how resilient he is and undergoes an evolution of his own by stories end. The art is beautiful and works perfect for this type of story. All said and done this issue was a ton of fun and not the usual big Dumb Batman we get. Synder does good character work when it’s on a smaller scale story and this issue highlights it despite having a lot going on at times.If Synder can slow these all down, flesh each one out on its own…the fans are in for treat.

IDK how they do it. But each issue Scott comes up with something that leaves you feeling beyond satisfied and fully invested. And it's big dumb ridiculous Batman. The new villain Absolute Scarecrow looks awesome and I'm very much ready for what ever story arc we get from him. The Robins , Slade... the death of a major character... wow moments. Im here for all of this. Bravo and standing ovation on the story and the art. This is one of the top 5 titles in the market.

Absolute Scarecrow continues his streak of being awesome. This new arc gets better and better each time. I wish each issue was longer because I want to read even more. While this issue was not as good as the previous issue, it's still really good stuff. This book is just always engaging and keeps the big dumb batman fun going.

we barely see the two face character and his anime esque design is awesome. most of this book is dope as hell. but its still just upper mid in the end. mostly because its not cohesive at all. a down issue for me from how good this series usually is and thats still an 8/10.

Scott has a clear pattern in his story telling. story then shock at the end to make you come back. it largely works. The reimagining of Harley Quinns Origin was a welcome one. DC mainline has destroyed this character in recent years. However this is refreshing. I love the Ark -M world. I love how different this Absolute universe is and how it takes chances. Harley with Joker as her father, Bruce Wayne flipped essentially with the Joker. It all works. I love how this is playing out. Scott is a great Batman writer. The art however is the biggest issue as it's confusing and hard to follow. A step down. Otherwise compelling stuff thats different. Its new. It takes chances. all the things I want in a comic.

Kelly Thompson continues to offer up a tremendous series full of twists and turns. Kelly's run on Birds of Prey was criminally bad. But this is like a different person all together. It's damn good. Bravo.

Kelly Thompson continues her awesome run on this book. Putting out banger after banger. Each time it has a lull she hits a home run the next issue. Well done Kelly. This new take on zatana is very fun. Great character design and Kelly respects her audiences intelligence enough not to spoon feed us exposition.

Truth is for years, Kelly Thompson was a name I dreaded seeing on a title. For me -Her Captain Marvel was awful, The Birds of prey also just too campy and stupid. Now here we are 17 issues into an amazing run. In fact shes up against Synder, and Aaron writing Batman and Superman. Kelly is holding her own if not besting them each month. Kelly maybe wasn’t the right fit for those previous titles, but Kelly Thompson was born to write this character. Absolute Wonder Woman has been a title I look forward to every month. Hands down one of the best if not the best title from the entire absolute line so far. Some issues are slower than others but overall the series is fantastic. This annual is no different. Kelly continues to build a character thats powerful, compassionate and someone we all admire. Diana puts her life on the line with no hesitation because it could help someone else. She does so with Medusa in this issue putting her in jeopardy with the Gods but Diana doesn’t care. It’s the right thing to do. To right a wrong at any cost and that is just something missing from most comics. Actual friggin Heroes being Heroes. Mattia De Juli’s art is a visual treat. We don’t deserve him, he’s on a level that brings Kelly’s awesome story to another level. I don’t want to say Hayden is bad as the art is quite good ,but this is insanity. The Athena splash page is something to behold. Have Mattia full time. Please. Give him a raise. Whatever it takes. The only issues I had with the book are it’s heavy on the dialogue at times and that can drag down the pacing a bit. But something this good overall with a simple story? Come on. Who cares? I owe Kelly an apology. Not everyone can nail every character they get put on. But this Absolute Wonder Woman is Kelly just showing off now. And I’m loving it.

Absolute Wonder Woman Number 17 comes hot off the heels up one of the best issues in the series, Annual 2026. That issue has the best art and a very human heroic Diana. Can this issue match up? In short, No. But not a bad issue by any means. There are just a few things I wish were resolved better ... its kinda lazy and full of missed opportunity. Issue 17 puts us right into backwards word magic, which I cannot stand but I get its Zatanas gimmick) and then poof a resolution right away and Zatana is out? I know she’ll be back but not this issue. We then get a quickly dispatched groups of villains right out of the Golden age of Marstons Villainy inc.Then a brawl with Giganta. The issue really focuses on this and thats really the problem for me. Diana tries to think of ways to beat her but it always just amounts to Grow bigger and uppercut her? I think Kelly is way more clever to come up with something better. This is reminiscent of when her best idea for an attack vs the Tetracide was a really huge sword. Get big, punch her , headlock- battle over- Ehhh. Really feels like Kelly wanted to move on from these Dorks and needed some filler vs the all out Giganta battle we could have gotten. What follows is perhaps a very cool ending if this is indeed Giovanni Zatara as the burning man. Would be cool to see him in the Absolute Universe with this new look. All in all the issue is good, but its full of quick wrap ups and battles that pose no real threat to Diana as well as no real effort to push the story ahead by Kelly besides what is necessary. I hope this builds to something more and I’m still a fan but this was a mid issue for me. The art is up and down on this issue. Some parts look great , others like frank miller and not the good stuff. The city shots lack any detail, the battle layouts are just mid, this just wasn’t the type of issue that showcases Haydens art style.

Issue 18 of Absolute Wonder Woman is a bit of a slow down from last weeks kinda lazy grow bigger punch fest. We get some nice moments here with Diana and Zatanna after they have a brief battle. The book features Dianas full cast of friends made along the series. If you haven't been paying full attention, you'll have next to no idea who the hell these people all are. If you have - it's a nice callback. I'm still all in on this book though it is a bit of a slam on the breaks as we build towards the big battle with Giovanni. Exposition dumps are tough to layout and look interesting. Hayden does a fine job in this issue.

Kelly continues to world build and make this version of Diana the very best in comics today. My only notes are the villain was defeated far too easily. One minute he melted her arm off. The next issue he’s beaten in a few panels and now reformed. Regardless of that this book still stands out among all the Absolute titles along side Batman. Kelly is killing it.

I give high praise to this creative team. It’s really top notch. The story is compelling , it moves well. Tons of pay off and call backs. So why only a 9? Well absolute Zatana could have been so much more. But she’s barely in the issue and was treated more as a plot device than a future solo series star. Aside from that I loved it. The art is inspired and well done. Did I wish we had my favorite fill in artist ever Mattia de Iulis? YES. but Sherman did a good job. High praise but I wanted more.

this book is so typical Jeremy Adams. I'll explain- Jeremy is the king of the hand waves and dispatching villains in 1-4 panels. I love his work most times but he has real issues with making the end villain feel all that meaningful. Guess what? this was one isn’t meaningful either. The blue is still around,Arthur seems to get stronger every few issues. it's nothing offensive at all in this comic. The young, old , sad Arthur stuff was really fun and so was the emperor declaration. It wraps everything up with Lolanna in a nice little bow all the while wondering how much of a threat she was since she's dispatched so easy. I wish the comic wasn't like a movie that I was fast forwarding to the end of the cool battles. We spend more time on the cool pose down than the final battle. But like I said before ...If you read Jeremy Adams- thats Jeremy adams style so you are used to this. Still a cool issue. and the art is gorgeous.

near Silent issues are becoming too common but do they pull it off ? yeah they do mostly. Joshua Williamson nails GI Joe so well but cannot write Iron Man to save his life. Regardless, keep up the great work here!!

I know this is Marvel simply cashing in on the movie but there is such a glut of bad books coming from Marvel that I'll take anything. I just want something to enjoy reading and this really fits the bill. I dont mind a Spiderman cracking jokes and this issue has plenty of them. Frank is vintage ice cold Punisher. Peter is our friendly Neighborhood Spiderman and we get a classic story with vintage style art. it worked and I loved this issue. Great stuff. If only Marvel can translate this to its actual main line titles fans could enjoy the books again.

I've loved this series and look forward to it each month. But this issue missed the mark. It's plagued by being a tie in book. Scattered plot with the Superman Robot. Book is just not good.

Dc is taking some big chances coming off K.O and replacing Superman with a semi divisive Superboy Prime. I must admit I loved this issue. But I like Superboy Prime when he’s written well. Semi meta -commentary, with his charm Is win win for me. Great first issue that takes some chances with his semi redemption story beginning. Mix it in with the amazing work of Dan Mora…book is gorgeous. Buy it.

Joshua Williamson is really be having an absolute blast writing this character because I certainly am reading it. The Superman book was really good but this is a complete revamp. I’m loving every ridiculous page. The art is amazing as well. Dan Mora killed it on this issue. It reads very fast. The story is simple and nothing hard to grasp. Prime is a vicious killer. And he’s trying to reinvent himself. I had a huge smile on my face this entire issue. Cannot wait to see where this goes.

Prime,Superboy prime whatever you want to call him , I’ll just call him the best Superman right now. Don’t get me wrong I love Clark but this comic is so fun to read each month. Everything about it is just what I want in a comic. Action , some comedy. Interesting characters. The art is fantastic and Dan Mora looks like he’s having fun drawing these panels as well. Bravo to this team. The plot is basic as can be and I don’t even care because it fits into how lighthearted this book is. Buy it. Give us a Prime Solo series just like this. I’d buy that also.

Williamson and Mora continue to deliver a Fun and ridiculous book each month. This is why I read comics. I don’t want be preached too. I want fun and heroism. This book delivers it all. I hope when Clark does return we continue this story in a solo series with the same team. I’d buy that also. Bravo to these amazing talents who appear to be having a blast making this title. 10/10. This book is that good.

Really fun issue at times . I love prime. I love the art. The writing…it’s off because it’s just so meta. It gets nuts. And wtf are we rushing this storyline ? I love me some prime time. But we go at lighting speed to a conclusion to move on to the Zod plot. It’s really it’s a huge miss. We could have had a huge storyline full of prime and more witch fire Lost opportunity by Williamson. Primes personality is so damn funny. I’m disappointed we just seem to not be getting more.

When you look into the writer and how polarized they are in one direction of feminism I’m sure people won’t give this book a chance just based on that. That’s a shame because the first issue isn’t bad. It lays down a decent frame work for this series to function in. However the only reason I don’t go higher is that’s pretty much all it does. It’s a little too light a read for people that aren’t Clayface fans. I’m interested to see what comes next.

David Pepose has barely written anything that I've enjoyed. I’m just being honest.The Savage Avengers was trash and Joe Garrison Punisher… was an abomination. Maybe he didnt have much of a say on those But this Space ghost series has been stellar. I love every bit of what he’s done here. In fact I rush to read each issue once I buy it. it's that compelling and Laus art is a perfect compliment to it. The story pulls at the heart strings well enough and the Space Ghost crew faces huge odds and each time comes out ahead. These last few issues with the Anti Matter man have been really well done. Our hero’s prevail but at what cost. Read it to find out and also Buy this series. It’s Worth it. David hasn’t showcased an unlocked talent like Kelly Thompson has on her tremendous WW run as his Cable Love and Chrome was very Mid and Captain Planet equally mid but he’s on the right track.

I have always loved Doom. His power, brilliance and arrogance are intriguing. Doom 2099 was pretty good and this book by Tieri and Randal is another in that line. The story itself is simple. Doom has won,having killed everything on the planet. The world is just Doom and the Doombots who help him try to undo what he's done via time travel. Doom finds he's unable to reverse it and instead looks to Ultron. Thats the whole story in this one shot. Its basic and it's perhaps the only thing bad about it. Anyone will have seen the twist coming from 5 miles away when you read 4-5 pages in.Its also the first line in the Solicit. The art is very good and Randal did beautiful work. Overall it's an easy read, it's fun and beautiful to look at. On a 5th week where most of the comics releases are pure garbage ,this one is an easy recommend.

Punisher Yet another #1 cash grab. This didn’t need to happen but Marvel is going to Marvel right? This is run of the mill Punisher again as if all the insane stuff that Aaron did , Joe garrison etc never happened and only the mini series existed. It’s hard to forget…but ok here we are.Spoiler I just cannot forget what Marvel did to the character. so you need to really go above and beyond to undo all that garage. This issue doesnt even try to. We start off with Frank still feeling the effects of having the Kingpins control chip removed from his head while still making his way through the criminal underworld. We see a captured microchip in Frank’s custody also. And then Tombstone in jail who is bribed to sign over his criminal empire unless his family will be killed. Isn’t this the same Tombstone who was in a 2-3 issue battle with Spider-man so he could kill his daughter? Anyway Jigsaw returns again after having a katana through his neck from what I recall last… but he’s alive and well here and ripping off disguise skin while visiting in prison. That makes sense when he has to leave. I’m sick of Jigsaw. The reveal was so obvious. Then Frank asks Micro to help him with the head trauma stuff. the end. The comics is just ok and thats always the issue with Marvel. We check all the boxes of modern Marvel #1- Bring back a loved character,I like the character of the Punisher. #2- Buy a new #1. I gotta buy a damn new number one each story arc. #3- I gotta forget bad creative that this comic just doesn’t do enough to wash away or doesn’t even attempt to address. Its just “ for that happened” Sorry I just cannot forget it and a mid issue and a decent prior mini aren’t enough Marvel. The best recent Punisher work was Kill Fury. I’d must rather keep that memory than this stuff. The only thing that really bring this up for me is the art which is really fantastic stuff.

I maintain that this book is not a hulk comic, it's just a Lovecraftesque horror comic. Overall it's interesting and the art is pretty mid. The constant fill in artists on Hulk bother me as Nic is really fantastic and this is a huge downgrade . I'm still coming back and buying it as the plot with Bruce and Betty was very interesting. Betty's decline was jarring to see as well as Bruce turning down helping the other heroes.We see no Infernal Hulk in the entire issue except on tvs as the plot moves along also the " starring Ironman " is a gimmick. he's in 5 panels. As I mentioned if you are a hulk fan, this book will not be for you-but if you want a good monster story- this fits the bill.

This book felt more like a Hulk issue at times than this entire run. Which I really liked. We are finally shown where Hulk has been this entire time and it's pretty fun to see this mind prison that holds everyone consumed or possessed by the Eldest. Hulk dukes it out versions of himself, monsters etc. it's all just fun and a excuse to showcase the big Green Guy we all love and wanted to see again. Hulk is in quite the bind here as the world seems very much controlled by the Mother of all Monsters who is there also. Overall the story felt like a welcome change. I buy Hulk for Hulk. I got Hulk smashing and I really missed that. I also was delighted to get some bad ass Nic Klein art!!! In a literal sea of garbage Marvel titles we finally got a Hulk comic.

I've been a fan this series but this issue is a huge miss . What even was this? a battle with one above all on the moon? just awful stuff. this series is better than this. it all happens so quick its like I was missing pages. for the little that did even happen.

Aside from Punisher this remains the next best title Marvel has. However this struggles with feeling less and less like Hulk. We get a cool battle with Ironman and the issue looks great. But it just didn’t strike me as hulk.

Infernal Hulk #9. this book is back on track after a disappointing previous issue. I wish Nick was back as the artist. The book suffers without his visuals but I get hes working on bigger books to come. The art here just was so mid and I cant stand when artists don’t draw faces on big groups shots.overall still good stuff. Hulk and Dr voodoo... given the circumstances it makes sense and works. Well Done!

The Lobo Cancellation Special was one of the funniest and best comics of all 2024. Hearing that we are now going to get another Lobo series had me excited. Lobo is a bit much at times but he’s always hilarious and absurd. Skottie young on this title gets the absurd part -mostly this plot but he misses the comedy that made the cancellation special so great. We get glimpses of it so maybe he can tweak this. Example -We start the book with Lobo on a bounty hunt. The Bar owner gets upset that Lobo parks next to a sign that reads “no parking”. Lobo rips off his arm and changes the sign to “Lobo parking “,Love it. However the rest is just stuff happening to push the story forward with none of the typical Lobo jokes that land. The rest of the issue is Lobo trying to get paid but he just starts killing guys and attacking guards for little reason that Skottie needs to more action. We find out the Bounty hunter industry is bought entirely by a company called OOEC run by a greedy executive with tvs on his head. They want to make Lobo into the next big reality tv star for bounty hunting. Sounds like an interesting Premise but if Skottie is going to miss on the Jokes this series can get old fast. I keep bringing it back to the master work on the Cancellation special. That work was the best written Lobo in a Long time. The paramilitary Christmas special also hilarious and absurd. The art very fun very but hard to make out sometimes. This whole issue … just above mid for me.

Well, we are 2 issues into this series and Scottie ran out of almost all his jokes and new ideas for Lobo. We now have to resort to tired old lines attacking Disney , marvel and corp America. so very original. Sigh. The battle with Aquaman had some amusing parts so it shows Scottie can be a capable writer if he ventures into the ridiculous which is where Lobo thrives. Instead it's the typical and the title suffers as a result. so very mid.

- [ ] X-men outback #1. Look does this have just zero logic and huge flaws ? Yes. How the hell does Sabretooth just find them ? Then we are so chicken shit in writing we wipe his mind so no one knows this happened? Convenient no stakes storytelling by Steve Orlando . But at the same time is the best X-men story in recent memory. Great callbacks. Good action. It’s got a pulse in a dead franchise . I’m taking what I can get. This wasn’t bad It’s certainly not Outback level good. By today’s awful putrid xmen titles It’s decent stuff despite the ass kissing of storm at epic levels.

X-men Outback. Lord almighty. Im going to say it. Steve Freakin Orlando is writing the best Xmen book in Marvel right now. But thats like dunking on a kid in a wheelchair. This comic has Maddie tryin to hack Reaver tech all night but she triggers a hidden super reaver named Godshredder who looks like the adamantine mixed with beta ray bill. Godshredder sends out drones that mind control each of the xmen except Wolverine. Logan then goes on to take out each team mate one by one. Until he goes one on one with the villain. we move at a lighting pace through the issue. We see Logan vs each xman in 1-2 panel battles with text summarizing what happened. Missing out on what could have been a few issue story line.. all just thrown away. The reveal at the end is cool. The concept of the issue is cool. But We just rush past it. It’s still the best x-men book out. Im taking what I can get. But this still was such a missed opportunity.

First off, I'll say the Dan mora art is beautiful. The pages pop and are full of action that is well laid out. The book ends with what we all knew was going to happen and it's semi satisfying.Now for the bad stuff... How many times are we going to be revisiting the story of "does the world still need a Batman, batman fighting grown up versions of Robin, can Batman be happy? Over and over. The writing of Batman has become so insanely one dimensional it could drive one to madness. Maybe we could revisit Batman in crime alley for the 900th time or talking to his parents. The book isn't bad, I've just seen it before countless times and I'm so tired of a take on the same story. Overall did Joshua Williamson tell a fun story in Knightfight? sure. its good and looks gorgeous. But if you've read Batman anything over the last 30 years you're tired of this same old.

The book begins with Deadpool hiding inside the ass of a Cow. if that interests you then you may like this book. I don't mind gross or even childish humor. I still laugh at fart jokes. but this book is just a poor mans version of the Deadpool movies. This is not the Character you read from Rob , Fabian , Kelly or even Wade. The book is just nonstop stuff happening with Blood and gore. the reasoning ... just because. We finally get a story premise beginning to emerge at the final pages but its too little too late. This type of book was done way better in the Lobo Cancellation special. sorry Ben but this didn't land.

Well we get more of the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie script that didn't make it to Hollywood. Thats what this is, it's just Ben trying to write Ryan Reynolds Deadpool and not Deadpool in comics. It's not as over the top as the first issue with Deadpool emerging from a cows butt. being a little more grounded helps this issue along than the first one in terms of plot but its all still up in the air. Ellie is dead, how ? when? I also don't care as shes a terrible character. If we at least had some more progress to that end I'd feel more satisfied. We get hammerhead and Deadpool's future predicting plot tying together but barely. thats kinda how this issue goes. its just lots of plots happening and bad jokes that wouldn't fly in MCU Deapool. If you've read Deadpool in the comics you'll know this isn't wade, if you're a MCU only fan and decided to pick up a comics for the first time after watching Wolverine Deadpool, this book feels like home. If you read Ben's Deadpool/Wolverine series in 2025 that Deadpool was way less over the top and more comic ish. Lets get more of that and less Ryan Reynolds.

We are a few issues in and the story is moving along pretty slowly. it's not terrible but it's still just too over the top that it becomes corny. My other big complaint is this isn't the Deadpool from the comics I love. This is 100% movie Deadpool and I just don't want that. Im still buying but this story needs to pay off soon. and get back to be a little more comics Wade.sadly look at the reviews or rather lack of them. No ones reading this anymore. Sad.

This book has great art. I was really excited for this match up. I liked the idea of Superman always wanting to be the good guy.round 1 pretty cool. Round 2 begins the downfall as the issue becomes an absolutely jumbled mess. Superman himself can't explain it nor can the writer. It just happens and we move on. Awful ending And ruined the story for me. Huge let down.

What can be said about this book... I'll start with this. Jeremy Adams is a normally fantastic, fun writer. I love his run on Green lantern and Aquaman. When he is left alone to flesh out stories and ideas he thrives. But he leans into bad ideas and past mistakes in an effort to make it better. Sometimes it's best left alone. This is an idea that DC editorial came to him with and most likely said " make this cool" it was impossible. This book is a bait and switch. No battle with the Absolute universe takes places. At all. If I ruined it for you -sorry but I spared you. Do not buy this book. It offers nothing. In fact it's less than nothing except a shameless cash grab of $4.99. Ohh Superman vs home lander yeah we get maybe 3 panels of it. Subzero. Red Sonya. All here. Barely. Like I mentioned at the beginning- Jeremy had a task that he should have walked away from. But he leans into it. And it's really bad. Shame on you DC. This deserved negative scores but this site doesn't allow it.awful plot. Decent art. And the promise of a epic battle that is immediately snatched from the reader like some crap WWE booking.

DC K.O promised a giant battle of cool fights. The main title K.O book has largely delivered. It has been the most consistent and enjoyable while almost all of the spin off books are a mess or mid with 1-2 exceptions. K.O #4 starts out with how Boss battle should have, a battle with the Absolute Universe.We were never going to get ate because DC has comics to sell. However, that would have left way more time to actually flesh this story out way more so it didn't feel so insanely rushed. We get 35 pages of a story this is barely able to contain what's happening. Key moments that should be impactful are pushed past completely with another panel that overshadows it. Scott has the habit of going too huge and grand in his storytelling like he did in Metal and death metal that it can be eye rolling. The story here is very much that...It's eye rolling. But at its core is the book still enjoyable? sure it is. and the art is nicely done with only a few panels that are confusing to understand. This issue ends on another cliff hanger which Synder is so good at doing.... Making you comeback to see the next chapter in his insane grand story and putting down your $. this story has been mid and confusing but the book is dumb fun. I'm ok with that.

We’re here at the grand finale of the DC KO event. We get another fake-out with Lex winning and instantly being replaced by Superman after the intervention of the time-trapper Doomsday. Superman returns, and we witness a time-and-space-spanning battle between Superman and Darkseid. Superman ultimately destroys the heart, unleashing all the DC heroes, and we all emerge victorious. It’s all very cool stuff—top-tier Superman material. He enjoys games where everyone wins, and it works. I couldn’t help but smile. However, this also reveals Scott’s weakness as the story draws to a close. What truly transpired here? Scott always craves these grand stories, just like he did with Metal and Death metal. He’s just kind of mid at it. When he tackles smaller-scale stories like “The Court of Owls,” his work is significantly better. But this allows him to indulge in “Universe Architect” stuff, which never quite hits the mark. Part of this can be attributed to his constant use of crisis-level events, or perhaps my own DC comic event fatigue, but it never truly lands. Don’t mistake this comic for a bad one; it’s actually pretty good. We get an exciting battle with Superman, showcasing his status as the top hero in DC. However, the story then settles back to its original state, not so much a DC-wide reset, but rather a 5-issue mini-series that doesn’t leave a lasting impact. Superman is absent, claiming to have something to do at the end but promising to return. This sets the stage for the next set of new DC books. I suppose that’s what DC KO accomplished—a few cool fights and paving the way for some new books. It never truly had much else to offer. That doesn’t make it a failure; it just makes it a cool filler.

We have an issue purely based on Story telling and building some suspense. It doesnt offer much but look Spider-Man has been really bad lately. So IDK what to even say Nothing happens except people mysteriously dying thats really it. It's not bad but you get very little of anything in this issue. Perhaps thats better than nothing.

Chris, I love you man. All that you have done of X-men cannot be repaid. But this book was so mid. it adds nothing. we didnt need it. The art and the colors are just dreadful. My score is higher after reading current Uncanny X-men then this right after. gambit is in a trench coat and suit at a high end casino. just painful.

This comic reads like it's missing pages while having pages added in from another story. Bruce gets a date and it goes nowhere with zero payoff. A new villain is introduced that I'm into. The idea that this guy has gained control of gothams criminal world and Batman knew nothing is ridiculous. Like the court of owls this rehash keeps happening to Batman and undermines him. Just tell a single story. It would have served the book better. The overall story felt positive and interesting and the art is absolutely amazing.

Batman #7 immediately puts us into a call that goes out to arrange a meeting with Batman and Joker. How did that happen with a place so secure you need to step on green tiles barefoot or die? Well don’t look for logic here. This issue centers on that arranged meeting between Batman and Joker. Which serves as an extended therapy session while Dr. Zeller looks on. Joker is bloated, bald and hairy. All from floating in a tank when his body was burning 8k calories a day. 2000 more calories than an Olympian in top form trying to maintain weight. Wasn’t he just in DC KO looking lean and menacing? Anyway we proceed with Dr Zeller giving threats to Batman acting completely out of character, and Batman has his meeting with Joker. And what happens? Well nothing except at the end Joker says someone is trying to kill you ,Bruce.I really hope the person trying to kill Bruce is related to the Minotaur storyline otherwise this is wasting my time. I expect that kinda crap from Tom King , who just abandons storylines. Why do we need a reinvention of Joke anyway? yet another writer trying to make lasting changes to Joker.Everyone constantly wants to write the next killing Joke and this just wasn’t needed nor does it accomplish much. Having an issue center on a bacta tank Joker Therapy session where he acknowledges all his issues full of monologues is different but if we were building to this with the previous 6 issues it would have made more sense and feel less abrupt. It’s not bad but it just feels like we are missing an issue or 2 before this. When you need to advertise on the cover “ a stunning foldout sequence “ you have a boring issue. And thats why this is. A boring issue that doesn’t fit in the flow of this series.At least the art Is beautiful.

Batman read like what I hate most. Boring low rent Tom King. We just pick up new storylines because we feel like focusing on those at this time. Gone is the Minotaur. The joker. The ninjas. All gone. Instead we get Alan Scott who not long ago was trolling for ass at docks. And coffee chats with Batman. I almost fell asleep 3 times reading this book. Poison ivy is mayor ? She’s killed as many as savage who is also an elected official. This issue was a huge miss after last issue which was also flat. But at least that one kept my attention. Just awful stuff. Get this title back on track and enough side quests. Avoid this comic.

I'm so sick and tired of this type of story telling by Matt Fraction. Fraction is pretty much a poor mans Tom King, They pick up , discard , restart story elements at a whim with little to no build up all for the sake of "wow moments". They both also have the habit of disregarding any and all character development before them. How many times has Wayne manor been blown up at this point? I lost out at 4-6 times. How many times has Batman been on the run from the police? Issues 5-6 were really fun and good. Those 2 issues are stand outs as they actually tell a blended story. Since then let's follow the story. #7 Joker in a tank convo- how that happened, why, how long ... none of it answered. Its started for a wow moment and ends on one. It ends on Joker saying " someone's coming to kill you Bruce". very cool but Sorry it's then abandoned just like the minotaur. #8 is a coffee convo about Vandal Savage with Alan Scott. The Joker story? gone. the Minotaur? Gone. Ninjas from issue 5-6 ? gone. Someone coming to kill Bruce? Gone. this starts and ends with a convo over coffee and villains plotting. #9 Batman is going to destroy all the Bat hideouts. why? its a hideout. did Vandal magically get knowledge of where Batman hides all his stuff? if so when? we just have to accept something happened. Batman did street construction and put bollards in the streets of Gotham. Vandal didn't see those but found Batman's hideouts? We get a rehash as if we are back to square 1 with Bruce and Damian's relationship. Also Batman tells A.I Alfred he's glad he's dead and Alfred says I'll see you in Hell. WTF? so all the storylines I mentioned before- everything just gone again. Barbara is arrested and Wayne Manor is blown up. another set of "wow moments" this book is an incoherent mess. Fraction cannot make up his mind on what story he wants to tell and when. Batman deserves better than this mess. I'm giving it a higher grade based on the art by Ryan Sook who did a nice job.

IDK if Matt Fraction even knows the story he wants to tell anymore. This story is all over the map. little explanation of everything. It's literally like we are missing issues detailing what just happened. If you read the last 3 issues, you'd have zero idea of what is even happening besides Batman is being chased by GCPD. even those story elements are full of Tom King -just skip to the parts I want to tell- type story telling. screw the filler that would give detail and insight. this series is in serious trouble because the man behind the title has no story cohesion. stuff just happens for the same WOW moments we have been getting and to me its just not enough. We are back to the Side panels with Bat tech. I'd like to enjoy Batman being a detective but this is not good storytelling. it's just a collection of random stuff happening. not good enough Matt. is it better than recent issues? sure it is. but when those sucked, what's that really say? nada. At least the art and layouts are absolutely gorgeous.

Matt fractions run on Batman has left me with really mixed feelings. This issue by itself isn’t bad despite the ending. However when you look at the series as a whole , how nothing fits. The start-stop nature of this series-I’m utterly frustrated. This series is just all over the map. What happened to the Joker and him calling Batman Bruce ? What happened to the Mayor and Pam with the Bat signal made from drones ? What about AI Alfred? The need to tell us about all the Bat-tech is gone also. Like I said. It’s the nature of this series when we see it as a whole. Start- stop. A disjointed mess of a series but a mid level issue. Just not good enough. Matt is stuck reintroducing things over and over because so much is left hanging around. The art is gorgeous at least.

Batman is one of the best characters around. just like Spiderman. it's the Pinnacle of comics. so why on both books are these writers awful? Fraction cannot tell a story! We in fact get fragments of multiple stories. all started. not finished. many abandoned. and Matt has the balls to throw in one more with a groups of assassins coming to Gotham to kill Bruce. Finish just one plot point Matt Fraction! Jesus Christ and the idea Bruce didn't read Alfred will, and was a member of a secret society of butlers who were with heroes ? WTF sense does that make given Batman's origin and Alfred was already the butler to the parents?? stuff just happens. all over the map in this book. Im losing my patience with this book.Fraction needs to dial it in and actually tell a goddamn story. this book is a wreck with some cool moments but at least it's absolutely gorgeous to look at. the elevator fight is awesome and a highlight of the book. if Matt can tell a story from start to finish this book could be very cool. but this just isn't it.

I love Spiderman. thats why I continue to buy this series despite the nonstop #1s and gimmicks over the last years. Joe Kelly has lost the plot of his own book and this issue is rushing at a pace that the flash may struggle to keep up with. The JR JR art is hideous and it's long past time to retire. This book has let me down so much. I dont care about Norman or the Goblin Slayer army. it's enough of the Spiderman family also. We have too many Spider people and sadly we maybe need Knull to come kill 90% of them off.

Why is it so hard for Joe Kelly to tell a coherent story lately ? This story reads like this- he took Peter’s arrival back home, a clone battle with Ben, Norman depressed, a sick alien who needs medical help , and Peter returning to Aunt May… and tried to make it work. It doesn’t. A scattered mess moving at a frenetic pace. No time for moments to settle in. Art that shifts due to 3 artists penciling it. This book needed to slow down and have way less going on. Terrible pacing just killed this book. Man Joe better redeem himself on the next storyline.but just reading the solicitations… I don’t want another damn symbiote. Do better Joe.

Joe Kelly must have given just some outline notes because even he would not pull off a dud of a comic like this one. We had 1 decent issue of Spirals. The Venom issue sucked… nothing really happened to move the plot forward and here we are all over again… NOTHING IS HAPPENING. It’s a shame too because we do get some moments in this series with MJ and Peter, Eddie as an abused child. All the character work is overshadowed by this crossover event that doesn’t seem to really be a Crossover event. I know nothing about Torment other than he’s killing people related to the Spider Family and it’s barely the focus . Other than that we are 2 issues deeper with near zero progress. This really stinks of a cash grab to fill 9 issues and sell comics vs an actual story. And that’s why I say skip this issue. Nothing happens.Pt 3 same deal. What will happen is you’ll have $10 extra in your pocket. This art is good but it’s so inappropriate for this type of comic. Damn shame. Death spiral is so far… spiraling down the toilet. Save your Money. Don't buy it. you aren't missing ANYTHING.

This issue of ASM is so far the best out of all the Death Spiral issues. What motivates the killer-besides spirals and killing Spidey fam people and silence? IDK. not much is revealed. Why did I like this? things happen. its not all the talking while web slinging. it takes a big leap forward and doesn't become boring. My biggest fear- they have 2 issues to explain a ton of things. Im hoping this works. Also the odd inclusion of Peters cousin who he didnt even know... random and dumb. It only highlights this story could have been a 3 issue story just inside ASM. but here we are 7 issues into a 9 issue story arc. please marvel- dont let us down and stick the landing on this. Otherwise you'll have a lot of really upset fans after this- me included.

Well it happened the event ended. While I thought we would have a huge exposition dump all issue on origins and motivations of the killer (maybe even an explanation of his powers last issue … nope. We get nothing. Just a generic story. A dismissed killer who now has no powers. This issue reads like Joe just wanted out of this story. He’s not alone , I want out also. This event was so lack luster. No motivations explained and now Torment is dead. If you’ve bought the entire story it’s over $40. How utterly disappointing.

Well we get a Claremont slowdown recap type issue. And it’s very much needed. Joe wisely takes time to remind the reader of how much has happened with Peter. That much I applaud. The art is competent and well done as well. So why a 5.5? All the things being recalled remind me how bad ASM has been. The deaths story was so bad. The captain kintsugi stuff. The lame aliens. Christ this was like ptsd. Joe is a good writer. What’s been happening with his ASM run is beyond me. This stuff just pain sucks. I just want good spiderman comics and this ain’t it.

This book is still a mess. We get new and already forgettable villain Spore and an issue full of no action and just talking. It plain old Sucks. The art is also not appropriate for a comic. Just another forgettable filler ASM issue.

Boy that Cormac Crane reveal at the end ! what a huge character.... im joking. who? does anyone care? hasn't aunt May been through enough crap at this point? we get a villain reveal and dispatched in 2 issues. boy talk about filler. Overall just boring stuff from Joe who seems to be struggling on finding the Parker he wants to write about. We got dying over and over, space Peter, a guy who seems family lineage ... it's all just bad comics. Fix this Joe. Because this Spider-man book sucks!

No No No. this revision in history is insane and wrong. Joe , why are you doing this to these characters ? why is editorial allowing this ? enough of this crap. awful stuff.

a major title like ASM and not a single user review. and its Sunday! thats insane. well ill tell you my thoughts. Joe Kelly is writing an angry jealous childlike Peter who is very unlikeable. in fact this issue Peter is just a nasty sad sack for much of it. IDK where this Cormac stuff is going but just look at the stars of the issue on the opening pages. who are these losers ? Joe needs to fix this story and go someplace and not rush to an awful ending like the last storyline. Ed's art is fantastic and elevates the book to a 6 for me. but story alone- this is a 3.

Jeff Loeb is a great writer. His most recent work on Batman however , Hush 2 for instance is terrible. This book is not much better. It's as if Jeff has blinders to the rest of what's happened sine Hush 1 ( which BTW was just decent). The book is a mess.The cat woman stuff stealing the lasso of truth, batman yet again " who can he love" stuff is cringe. the story is sloppy and revisionist. Loeb needs to clean up his writing on Batman. it's really been dreadful and incoherent lately. The issue has bright spots but even those are mid at best.

Let's get this right out in the open- I love the X-men. I grew up reading them and ever since Hickman left the X-men have been in deep decline. Krakoa was largely a mess and from the ashes is a disaster. when almost all the books in the relaunch are canceled I know I'm not alone in this thinking. I want good X-men books. So far this hasn't happened and this book doesn't turn that around. We get essentially 3 different stories in this that barely connect. the Excessive exposition is clunky and just bad. Scott is highly unlikeable as the main star of his own book. Do I view him as a military commander or a survivor with repressed memories? Scott is once again back on this authoritarian nonsense that was never present to this degree in past X-men books. Antionio's art jumps between semi competent to unfinished sketches. The whole premise of Scott losing his visor is cool and that makes me interested in the next issue. Not the characters or plot. it's not the worst new X book i've read this month in a sea of bad X-men everything , thats Storm. but thats not high praise.

I ask one big question with this series - Why does this need to exist? We dive back into a series full of just eye rolling garbage. The overall premise isn't bad. In fact I like it. How it's being executed however by Alex Paknadel is the issue. The Reavers are hunting Mei who escaped from their mining facility. Cyclops was shot down while traveling and is hurt and without his visor. They linked up and here we are... stuck with just stuff crammed together. Mei has super strength but cannot work when shes afraid... due to cortisol levels... but cortisol is managed by stress. so none of this makes sense. she was able to work while a captive and wasn't afraid or stressed ? How about Cyclops says he trained for being in the woods blindfolded was near the top of the list...just bad jokes.This plot reads like a bad 80s action movie. Pierce is acting out of sort to fit this story. I'm really tired of X-men solo character series that suck. they cannot even manage to get Wolverine right on that title. This title is the best of the really bad solo books for whatever thats worth.

Cyclops remains the best solo X-men title they have out. But if you think thats high praise then you are mistaken. The solo X- books are a disaster and this book is just mid. The premise is decent, Cyclops alone having crashed landed and without his visors.He's being hunted by the Reavers. That all works. All the other stuff- the part with Scott and his brother with the fire at Essex house in issue 1 that was abandoned, the lame girl Mei who has powers only when she's not scared yet had them in captivity that all just sucks.Cyclops is bad ass enough that he can handle himself without yet another damn Mutant. We have far too many forgettable Mutants in Marvel. But here we are , Editorial can give a crap about this book- just read the solicitation with the typo. "How Cyclops fight back?!" Thats really the story here. After this solo series is over -no one will remember it. It doesn't push any new ideas or revelations for Scott. It's just filler.5 issues of nothing to see here.

still the best X-men solo series but its not much. the story is basic and blah. I dont like any of the characters except Cyclops and the villains are so disposable it's ridiculous. we end of Uru being found by the reavers... and I really hope we dont get into asguardian bullcrap. the book is cheesy enough.

As you can see by the number of reviews, no one's reading this book anymore and with good cause. It's just a nothing , out of continuity book. We have a by the numbers , boring comic. Pierce has obtained god metal and battles Cyclops. We get the most basic of storytelling with the slave mutant kids all teaming up to help Scott and defeat the bad guy. This is boring while at the same time does nothing offensive besides wasting our time on the series. thats really the story here, this book Offers no new take on Scott,No bold story. If you missed this series, congrats -nothing changed and you would have saved a few bucks. I know I wish I did.

Jonathan Hickman wants to write anything other than a book featuring Spider-Man. The title character has been barely in the book for much of the series and when he is featured... it's not doing any heroics. Spider-Man has not thrown a single punch since issue #18 in a single panel. Let that sync in. If Hickman wants to world build , write D&D guides or a story with dinners and side quests etc he should do that and not waste my $ with a Non Spider-Man book. Give me the title character in a book with stakes.

We pick up from the previous spiral issue which was quite good and get this. A full on slam the breaks book full of so much darn talking. Nothing really happens at all here. It barely moves the story forward. What a misstep vs last issue. Who ever is telling Al Ewing he can write comedy needs to stop. The jokes are awful. Inappropriately timed. And Al has the comedic timing of a dead moth. Enough of this bad Venom.

I'm giving this book a 5.5 mostly because Paul dies, but as far as as Death Spiral goes... Things actually happen. what those things are ... well they are dumb. the series has a formula- Torment goes to family members who were rarely seen of Peter, Eddie and is killing them. between that... we get Spiderman and Venom talking while web swinging. thats been it. This last time has been a chase. then more talking. into yet another roof top or apartment brawl. Torment hits them with the now most powerful weapon ever -shockers gloves.. and leaves. that is the series for 6 issues. We get Torment getting the Carnage Symbiote but is there magically only a handful of them the MCU? Even BlackWidow had one for awhile. 6 issues of this storyline and it shouldn't be this frustrating.

Venom #257 reads poorly. The issue is a mess of things happening, chase aunt may then shes gone. so very little develops or has been shown in about the character Torment, his powers( new ones appear with no explanation). just nothing has been revealed. this means one thing. the last issue is going to be jammed full of stuff and move at a huge pace to fit it all in. 10 issues and they have done so little. thats almost 40 bucks worth of comics for nothing. the best part about the issue is the art, however the death spiral storyline is a mess. the ending panel with Spider Carnage... we have seen this already with Ben getting Carnage ,it wasn't cool then and Franky, I'm so tired of Carnage already. Look how many reviews this series is getting . No. One . Cares .anymore.

I like the writer. I like the character. What happened ?? How was this book such a bore ? Man what a bummer. Tony doesn't even appear till 10 pages in and he's highly unlikable. What a missed opportunity here from a writer who is talented enough to do way better. The art is very mid as well.

I'm making this quick because this book isn't worth my time. I haven't read a good Iron Man comic book since 2004 with Invincible Iron man Extremis. Since then they all struggle with him only being a drunk, a depressed loser, a war monger, involved in X-men crap or stuck on MCU cosplay. This comic is the Latter. We get full on RDJ imitation by Joshua Williamson ,who is a good writer but Tony banging Madame Mask? NO. Tony then being involved with Modok who is doing a comedy bit in a hot tub? Huge NO. Total cringe comment. This comic became unreadable at the moment. Joshua seems to not care about making a serious iron Man comic and wants to make a funny, do whatever bro im drunk, Rich Tony Stark RDJ Comic" from Iron man 2. Lets talk about the art, Its terrible. zero detail. Carmen just seemed to mail certain things in completely. look at the weapons the bad guys are holding. just sticks. it's often embarrassing. such a shame.

I don't think Mariko knows how injuries work and the time needed to treat them. Also the drawing of the bone was not a fracture so medically none of this worked. It's hard to give this a review since nothing really happens or is fleshed out. Barbara wakes up in the infirmary and hallucinations happen all issue. Thats it. the art Is well done but this issue was just a big nothing burger.

This issue is terrible. I was semi interested in the plot laid out in issue #1. Barbara , as part of Batman's plans lets herself get caught to investigate murders at Vandals Prison. how the prison this scale came into being so fast, and all that...its comics. We seemed to have forgotten all of that stuff. Barbara is popping pills given to her by someone random character, why ? for someone so brilliant she sure is trusting. the book offers nothing. in fact is this just more pages from the previous issue? does Mariko have a story to tell?? you can entirely avoid this issue because nothing happens.save your $3.99.

I'm jealous of Matt Murdock because he can't see the insane exposition dumps taking place in this book. Holy crap what is this nonstop chat fest of a comic? does anything even happen? At least the art is really nice looking. Avoid this book. it offers nothing and for a jumping on point this is insane. what a shock. It's Stephanie Philips who aside from Capwolf, has written awful comics. After what she did to Phoenix, one of the worst X-men books I've ever read this gets no leeway.

X-Men #25 is in fact the better of the 2 books after the awful Uncanny X-men featuring knock off Universal Monsters. But thats not high praise at all. I'll say it now and later in this review- Current X-men Suck. Let's dive in - We get the team deployed to find the Morlocks in hopes of finding Doug Ramsey. Along the way a random story of Nazi mutant twins, nazis killing( hero’s kill right? The X-men are not heroes in this book) and a cool battle. Cyclops's team go back to being the Krakoa killers we got at that series end. Some will say it’s a political message and killing Nazi mutants is allowed blah . Idc about all that.Be heroes or don’t be heroes. Then we get the return of Crimson Commando who was last killed by Wolverine working with a group called O.N.E. Just what we need. Another group to be unfocused on. More cuts to the X-men talking about the actual plot while eating. Then more 3k nonsense in the back up story. Does this sound like this story makes sense or that this story crafted in a way that flows? NO. Do we get crowbarred into plot lines and crazy exposition just because and go nowhere with it? YES. As mentioned before ,the X-men everything is really BAD right now. 98% of this stuff just sucks.So if you want Claremont type writing it’s not here. It’s never going to be here and this story isn’t it. But is it better than the usual xmen story we got in earlier issues ? Sure it is.

Last issue we went from looking for Doug, to killing Nazi mutants and now this. The X-Men are exploring the rural town of of Merle and get trapped in what appears to be a new "Danger Room" being run with the help of ONE. What happened to the search for Doug ? Just gone. This series has shifted to fragments of ideas vs a fleshed out story. IDK what's even happening anymore. I feel like I'm missing issues. The art is a mess. some pages look good, like a mix of Todd then trash 90s art. This issue is just weird and starts a new storyline when we did that last issue. Just awful stuff from a X office that stinks lately.

Massive exposition dumps abound and flashbacks. Boring generic villain. More Glob. I almost fell asleep 1/2 through the issue. It’s so low tier mid but at least the art remains high quality with Diaz fighting for his life to make this script enticing.

Last issue we were really on to something here. the idea of the X-men being taken out by a special team who researched them seemed passable. but this issue is full of logic holes just for the sake of moving the story from A to B. Magneto being disrespected was too much. hes just a sad sack in a chair who hovers around in the background of most issues. the inclusion of just retarded level villains. too much. we barely get X-men in the X-men book and thats the norm. This title slipped back into Jeds bad habit of focusing on villains that he cannot write well. Someone. Please help the X-men titles. Also Netho Diaz art is competent but mailed in on this issue. He has so little to work with.

The danger room story has not been good. But it’s one of the better of the X-men storylines in a while. But I’ll repeat. It’s not good. And X-men has been better than what Gail is doing. Here we get another part in the danger room storyline. I’ll leave it at this- This issue is nothing. It’s just a blah nothing issue. If you don’t buy it , you’ll miss nothing. Really a waste of pages.

Jed took 5 issues to wrap a story up like this. What a disgrace. The X-men stuck in the belly of a beast who is simply known as “leviathan” is beaten by the power of friendship. Psyclock infiltrates the danger room Hq. We are shown nothing. Nor do we know what happens to them. We just get a “ I’ll fix them” type panel and no mention. Just gone. The person who shot glob. “We will hunt him down one day. Magneto you hunted nazis so you’ll help also. Then We move on. That the whole issue. Resolve as quickly as possible. Move on. The pacing and writing are wretched. What an awful conclusion to what started as a less awful storyline. The mad rush to get to the next storyline is obvious and a let down. The x books are broken. Someone. Anyone. Help the X-men.

Well this book debuts a “science team” lead by Beast. If that sounds interesting to you at all then we are very different people. We get no lead up, nothing to this storyline. It just happens as the details are revealed via exposition dumps that are a bore to read. Also we retcon and abandon Magnetos RLDS. Now it’s a disease from the future. Caused by …no clue , who? No clue! To what end? reasons we don’t know yet. Why he knew all about RLDS and whatever testing beast did to confirm it , all out the window. As Jed scrambles to move on from that stupid idea and it’s embarrassing to read it happening. Most of the book is a word bubble party. Then a kinda reveal at the end but who cares ? This book sucks. The white tiger lady with the big boobs is also really furries type trash. Cancel the book or remove the creative teams. This is the better of the 2 main X-men book and I’m still asking for it to be cancelled.

What a mixed bag. Actual heroics mixed in with hot trash storytelling. A magic potion to cure magneto that best had all along. Just happened to be carrying it with him? I’ve had enough of Jed on X-men. Where is this story going ? The science team lead by Beast. I just don’t care. I desperately want too I love the X-men but this series has been all over the map. It’s just not good. Was it better than usual ? Even a broken clock is right. Do better marvel. Save the X-men.

X-men #33. Christ Almighty ,Why is Jed still on this book? It gets worse each time but honestly looking at the talent Marvel has right now writing.. who would take this place ? Is kid omega a wise soul now giving advice? Wasn’t he trying to attack a whole town maybe 3 issues ago? Jed lacks a voice for these characters and this series . Such a jumbled story that jumps around too much while rushing at lightning speed to an ending. Jeds book is all over the map in terms of tone. I can only assume hes trying new things to see what works but nothing lands.hearing reports that they are keeping the creative teams on X-men is beyond depressing and upsetting. If I have to endure Saladin, Gail or Jed anymore with crummy solo series I’ll drop all the X books. Anyone , Someone. Just please save the X-men. These books are just not the quality we deserve.

X-men #34. Juggernaut is upset by a statue of trask the sentinel creator and attacks it. However it’s protected by an unbreakable force field. So all issue we get some kind of introspection on Juggernaut before the X-men come to clean up this cry baby bitch. What was this issue besides nothing on a page ? Character work? Who cares. The X-men last I knew were battling the evil powered team lead by Cassandra and dark beast. All paused for this issue of nothing. Next time I’ll just burn $4.99 plus tax. Christ sakes man. Someone save the X-men !!

Last issue we had a Juggernaut self reflection issue. This time it's Beasts turn. Jed must be feeling emo or /and most likely the case- He is stalling to build some stakes and tell as much back story as possible headed into the big battle with 3K. I do care about Beast and his talk with Magik has its moments But it's a boring issue at times. I'm happy that it at least is fleshing out these characters more but Jed has to nail the landing here. 3K has been on and off in the entire series going on 35 issues. The Anomaly ,Age of revelation, Danger room, X-manhunt all sucked and we had a battle with 3k already in issues 16 and 17.That battle sucked as well.So this is Jed laying all his cards on the table here. If this isn't an all out battle , and just another continued skirmish its over for this book. Aside from Woe is me Beast we end on what promises to be some action. Can Jed nail the landing here having built up 3K for most of this series ? my opinion-Doubtful. The art by Tony Daniel is once again completely uninspired, He doesn't get much to do in this script.

Great character and I'm happy to have the original Betsy back in a comic but if I wanted to rehashed continuity blast I'll do it the right way and read classic X-men. At least then I got Art Adam's covers. Book is so wordy and just who asked for this story ? When X-men are the worst they have ever been ... you put this out ? Try again.

This book has no reason to exist. it's a book about Jimmy Olsen with Bizarro on the title. the art is actually kinda disgusting looking. Nick Pitarra can get away with this junk on some Image title but this dont look like bizarro at all. the whole world looks frankly vile and filthy. Kevin Smith writes good banter and little else. It's bizarre this book was even made. for $4.99 get lost.

there is no one reading this comic. and its justified. Tim Seely has somehow lost the plot only 3 issues in. I asked myself 3 times... what is happening in this series at all? Maybe cable is still trying to stop President Kamala Khan from being killed ? (Let's hope he fails as the character is terrible). We cleared Hellverine and now BoomBoom as the assassin and maybe Cable is dead? who cares. We are left with only Archangel so let's please end this series. Anyone giving this series a good rating is lying to you and a shill. the amount of reviews dropped off a cliff. im actually buying it. stay away.

Gaile Simone continues her streak of awfulness in this issue. We get Temu versions of Universal monsters from the 70s controlled by Elsa Blood stone. vs the Rogue team of Rogue, Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Gambit. Jubilee is in the clutches of Morbius and then they all agree to fight elsewhere. Then we are treated to reprehensible Dialogue, and action that sucks. Rogue vs N'kantu( the mummy) and wolverine vs Werewolf etc . Just all dumb. then the dumbest of all- WereWolverine.... Gail has been stuck in just rotten storytelling. None of this is fun and frankly this is the best issues shes done in awhile yet its still lame.

Gail Simone continues her reign of terror on the X-Men books. This issue, like all the others in this “Where the Monsters Dwell " story, is particularly terrible. Whether it's the dialogue of Gambit and Rogue, the bumbling villains like Lady Darkhold who are dispatched like something out of Scooby-Doo, or the dragon at the end...this book offers so much to offend X-Men fans. The art is also something to behold. Luciano must have been rushed or simply not given a damn due to the page rate. Many of the people have no faces even drawn on them. When the art switches to David Massina, it's equally as bad and very jarring. I look at this issue only 1 way: this story arc is a mess, it's dumb, and it’s $5.99. Get the hell out of town! Fire Gail Simone. Someone please save the X-Men !

Too little too late to save this title. Gail jumps from horror movies to a western because maybe it’s what she watched on tv that morning. I see solicitations in June have the X-men with Martian’s. No lie. Wasn’t there a whole civilization there with storm and Arakko. It’s enough. This book has interesting ideas all jam packed into an overly stuffed comic that is overpriced for what you get. At this rate just cancel uncanny X-men.

The art -it sucks the story- it sucks alternate reality story. it sucks Gail - she sucks im so very tired of her on the X-men. Gail has no voice for these characters. these are dark days for the X books. there is zero new creativity, zero urgency to get new readers. we get rehashed old ideas like the outback, rogue in savage land. last story arc wolverine was a damn werewolf. not long ago he was fighting without eyes. Rogue sounds like a slow adult. it's time to clean house Marvel. almost all the launch books are canceled and this new batch is just as bad! all the reviews on the site here are fake to try an get the score up. its embarrassing

Uncanny X-men #27 reads like a disjointed mess disguised as a mystery because it is one. Gail Simone once again is all over the map and only cares to write the new characters she’s made vs ones fans actually care about. So sorry folks, if you want to see Wolverine , Gambit , Rogue and NightCrawler having adventures you’ll be upset. Because this story is about Mutina, and the outliers. those characters are unlikeable and lame. Those guys just suck. They don’t get any better here. Instead we get a jumbled mess of a story In the elsewhere,Filled with Gail with her usual crap of whatever she watched on tv that day. This time it’s Attack on Titan in the form of Sentinels. Also we see her awful character who is apparently part of Gambits backstory named the Vig. Who looks exactly like killer croc from Batman the Animated series. We also get some Avians trash that Gail also created. Thats really the story here. Gail is writing the Avians, the Outliers, The Vig and Mutina. I repeat-She isn’t interested in telling a X-men story with characters we care about. Terrible Stuff.

Read issue 1 of the from the Ashes. it's not terrible. its not good but its something. Since then it's been a downward spiral. just when I think its reached a new low...Somehow Gail is getting worse. the characters you care about like wolverine rogue etc. appear on 4 total pages and do nothing. instead its back to Gails created characters only hijacking this book. The plot is a total disaster. just an utter mess with no meaningful progression to an end or why any of this is happening. We just know this will lead to no pay off . Gail is trying to write a mystery but the only mystery is why I'm still reading. When we get Monet appearing I held my head. How much worse can this get? well turns out I simply lacked sufficient imagination. Remove Gail. Save the Uncanny X-men . someone. anyone. make it stop.

Christ sakes Gail. she rushes to an ending as fast as possible to move on to the next story arc and thats the payoff? this book is dumb, and a mess. Mutant X 's character design is terrible. the battles absolutely suck in what little we even see of them. the Wolverine and nightcrawler battle is 2 panels of nothing but teleporting and return to normal. the art is indy level and Terrible. the new x members are terrible. Gail has no voice for these characters and ending on Monet and quicksilver being offered to lead the X-men is the nail in the coffin for the book. Uncanny X-men- a flagship title has 4 critic reviews. issue #1 had 17 critic reviews. No ones reading this and bless them because it sucks. just awful ,dreadful storytelling by talentless Gail. someone. please save the Xmen titles!

Gail must have been dared " write the worst X-men story ever." and she created this issue. this issue is all about dates aliens and dancing. Kurt is on a date, death dream on a date with a girl in a wheelchair. we get a goddamn dance number of Calico in the book. all of it. every page is painful and awful. What on earth is this ? We get one callback to graymulken prison with a lame brawl with the all powerful Monet, as she's releasing prisoners...yet beats them up? a brood warrior shows up at one point. This book is an epic disaster. The art barely has faces on it. most don't have noses and dots for eyes.its sketches and shows little effort. we end on the news of Weapon x-finity...where they want to make wolverines. NO. Yet again this issue and the series focuses on Gails awful characters. doing horribly lame things. in a plot that makes little sense in her usually throw it all at you style... and pray it makes sense in the end. it Never does. cancel the book Marvel. spare us this trash!

If you are a die hard X-men fan for most of your collecting life like me, You buy with the hope it'll improve and to complete runs. I'm getting to the point I may just remove it from my pull list. I'm very much hoping the rumored changes to the X office this Dec will happen and they clean house. this book is pretty terrible, lazy and awful. Last storyline was Universal Monsters garbage. Gail once again writes whatever she was streaming on tv that week. Now it's vintage Alien movies from the 50s . We dive back into the never ending dance as the students are preparing to battle giant aliens and discover why the Brood appeared... in what little you see them because last issue it was one page. The Brood were also holding guns that are now gone this issue... but hey who cares right? I mean the Vig gets his arm ripped off and no one gave a crap. So once again in Gail fashion- throw everything at the reader and try to fix it after. The way the Brood are written here, the hive mind is gone. All the work done by Claremont to make them more interesting is long gone. what little we actually see of them in this issue ( literally 2 pages) adds nothing. But Gail needs it for her lame twist at the end. Mutina ,who is used simply for exposition dumps to move the story along says - the Nur are exterminators and this high school dance is on a Brood breeding ground? awful. truly dreadful lazy writing. just like Nightcrawlers escape from the ship. literally" wait I think I see, hold your breath." and he figures it out. then we move on. wtf was that ? we also get a continuation of the convo at Graymulken Prison. Let's hope we can just drop that making Wolverines crap asap. I've tolerated Krakoa and all that pain it brought. From the Ashes has become awful and another relaunch that merits more of the same trash will be too much for even me. Fingers crossed- someone... anyone... please save the X-men!

Gail did it again. Her absolute worst issue of an atrocious storyline. We start the issue with Rogue on her way to save the team as they fend off the Nur ,who are alien exterminators to kill the brood nest on earth Just where the outliers are having a dance .how it got there,how didn’t they know before the dance, Are the Nur worth exploring as a new threat? Who cares ! Gail doesn’t think so. we barely see them in this issue and i counted it’s 4 pages. Then Just a bunch of spaceships towards the end. The brood we see even less. And just like last time.. issue 1 of the storyline the brood are holding guns. Then issue 2 guns disappeared. Now issue 3 guns are back then disappear again. No one cares to get things right. Night crawler escaped from the ship last issue. How? It’s never even mentioned this issue.he just goes back n forth teleporting at will. Mutina…just stands around. Does nothing but talk. Do you want to see Wolverine in this issue ? Nope. He’s barely in it. What about gambit. Well he transforms into something called Wyvern. With horns a tail and big wings.what in the holy hell is happening here? We get Gail’s usual crap. Teenage lesbians. No explanations.awful pacing. The story gets all wrapped up in a epically bad ending that involves a Galactus illusion to tell the Nur to leave. We get 2 sentences to wrap up the ending and it amounts to -All the bad guys left. The comic equivalent of poochie dying on his way to his home planet. This series has only ever been about one thing. Gail shoving her awful characters down our throats and crowning them the “new mutants”. Gambit, who is now transformed back to a human at the end.how?When? What makes him transform? Is the Vig ok ? Did anyone give him his arm back? Who cares. We end on gambit and rogue leaving to help gambits apparent possession. This book is everything wrong with the X-men. This three issue storyline was putrid. The art sucks. The story is crap. The characters are annoying. Everything is terrible. 0/10 is my score. Tom B. Please. Get This talentless hack off the damn book. And find someone. Anyone. Just please save the X-men books.

Uncanny X-men …here comes the final rant. Gail hyped this issue up on her Facebook page. Here is Gail in her own words. “ Just saying, if you have been away from UNCANNY X-MEN for a bit, today is the day to jump back on board. It's a new arc, and some important new characters are involved, and I can't say more but this is a good jumping back-on point and this story REALLY goes bananas.Gambit needs an exorcist.And the one Rogue found might not be working on the side of the angels!Plus, NEXT issue, it's the first appearance of...well, that would be telling.The last time I did a message like this was the debut of the uber-popular MUTINA, so just saying, it's a GOOD JUMPING ON POINT.” What I read this week was such a jumbled mess full of unexplained nonsense I thought I missed 2-3 issues. Rogue brings the possessed Gambit to Gabriel the demon hunter who I recall from old 70s marvel comics. How he knows Rogue, no idea. Never explained. Calico all issue displays bizarre trauma. Which necessitates her teammates hugging her ? Apparently gambit used to do this ? Why is someone so insane on the X-men ? Last issue she was dancing with her lesbian lover. This issue …in the fetal position needing to be coddled. The person to do it is Someone she’s never met or been introduced too…. Also someone who is just here for reasons. Quicksilver. it doesn’t go as planned as she tries to kill him. Oh and the Gambit possession. Turns out it’s a fly demon. That’s the issue. Just stuff. The big reset for Gail. No explanations. Just bullshit. I’m done. Uncanny has been dropped. A collector since Giant size #1 which I bought at 8 years old in 1989 for $110. I saved for a full year doing chores. Back then I was so excited to see Wolverine and the team. Now I’m 44 and I despise the book. I’m gone.

Deniz Camp has let the smoke get to his brain. A heavy handed political message that lacks any justification in this book. A total wreck from a writer who must spend more time wrapping blunts than working on plot and pacing.

This book had some really interesting moments with the green Martian asking for help and John being blocked and filled with despair. But it doesn’t save it at all. Forgive me for the obvious joke- when you see through all the smoke...This issue reads like it's supposed to be this deep dive into sadness and despair filled with symbolism but it's really just like having a long drawn out convo with a stoner. meandering, hollow and pointless. I don't need or want to contemplate the deep dive of word play here because it'll never pay off or make sense. I know a tacked on story to fill issues when I see one.MM started off interesting to me with issue 1-3. Now it’s just written by a stoner who is all over the place. It’s garbage and don't waste your time. Read the book from issue 1 till now and you'll see the moment when Camp rant out of story completely and now is just trying to bring something, anything together for a few more issues.

There are not enough opioids in the planet to make this book make sense. Is there any story progression ?? If so I missed it. A big fat nothing burger loaded with self indulgence and stoner imagery. What a mess of a book. At least parts of it are well drawn and colorful. Otherwise it’s nothing literally. The book has nothing more to say for many issues now and this is dragging along to fill issues. Save your $4.99.

Jim lees art is tremendous but even that fails to save this book. Jeph Loeb has written absolute trash. Hes normally very talented. but this Hush run is a total mess. some of the worst work from Loeb win recent memory. What is even happening in this comic? nothing makes sense and we do not need a pt 2. just end this madness.

all you have to do is look at the number of reviewers giving this a score. No ones reading this book and with good cause. Shard? who asked for this awfulness. Saladin is soon to be removed from Wolverine where he has written an awful Logan. Don't believe me? read the first storyline with the Windego and you'll see a little kid who drew a comic about eating his friend. not even exaggerating. anyway ... back to this trash. this comic is mostly people with giant hair battling. thats really how best to describe it. its dreadful. don't hate yourself enough to read this. its never going to be remembered or sourced back by anyone.

a Cool character who I like is just dragged through the crapper with this issue. There is so much exposition and set up it's insane. This issue is terrible. Kyrons monologues are unbearable. Cancel this series.

I decided to give nightwing a chance as I like the character. What have they done to my boy? The art is really great however the story is so bad ! What is this ? Who is this supposed to be? It isn’t Nightwing. It's a goddamn walking wikipedia page. We get nonstop facts on the bridge and history crammed in there for Nightwing to tell -why? because nothing is set up at all. Also this guy brings in Batman to rehash yet another Batman doesn’t care trash story. How bad did this book get ? If it wasn’t for Wonder Woman this would have been the worst book I read all week.

I swear i'm not review bombing. this issue, hell the last few issues have just been insanely bad. that bridge nonsense was awful and just when you think it couldn't get any worse...well you just lack sufficient imagination. this issue is awful. where did this overgrown forest come from? a alien sob story who uploads his mind into a computer. while his body is out killing people. then the twist oh he just needed to reupload his mind into the body they just killed... so we can learn another lesson on cycles and pain etc. this was just so god awful. its so so bad. Dan Watters is writing some of the worst stuff. The isn't a Nightwing comic but whatever this is , I want nothing to do with it. And I've endured pirate queens and rick Grayson. I'd take that over this garbage.

Eve L Ewing attempts to reinvent the current situation the X-men are in with this soft reboot attempt. Of all writers on the X team , and believe me I know talent is very scarce ...Why give it to someone who sells no books and wrote the terrible Exceptional X-men that was canceled? This is a soft reboot full of rehashed ideas that haven't worked. Cyclops is still angry Cyclops, Kitty and Emma seem to be all over X-men leadership in recent years. I'm not sure why. Wasn't Kitty a Barista unable to balance coffee and dating women? wasn't she also a pirate? wasn't Emma married to Tony Stark? Yeah... modern X-men comics are terrible and this book does little to change anyones mind and this creative team was never going to do it. X-men are broken and Marvel is intent on doubling down on DUMB IDEAS. Here is a dumb idea … it’s a virtual school of the mind … why is there a cafeteria and they eat? Nothing makes sense. X-23 is not Logan’s equal. Get her the hell out of being a teacher. Eve also rehashes her lame creations as teachers also. This book never had a chance. You can take this Graymatter Lane idea and put it in the trash can next to R-LDS.

Issue #1 was really bad. so let's recap with unexplained things- 1-featuring a school created by Emma in the astral plane thats fake but also real?( how and didn't we do this already? 2- It has a danger room that can kill you ( how? ). 3-it has a lunch room to eat ( why? isn't the food fake?) Emma is headed to get food in issue 2 also for reasons. 4- the worst characterizations of Wolverine ,Cyclops , and kitty in recent memory.just more attacking of cyclops. the best x leader ever. 5-the school is left burning at issues end(how does that work when its not a real school?) 6- Scott says gathering Mutants makes them siting ducks for attack- ( how? it's virtual and not real) Here is the answer to all of these questions- Eve Ewing is a terrible writer with zero idea what shes doing on this X book and her last series got canceled. We get this gem in issue #2. Captain America comes to visit. How?? it says in issue one you need to be a mutant and have the telepathic key to get in the school. not one or the other-both. More Cyclops yet again lectured to by another person because hes just a big idiot. I noticed they teleport to the location of the people Cap wants to find-yet again... how? isn't this in the mind? so how did prodigy teleport mind palace people? The book is just bad, the art is indie level bad, and Eve keeps digging herself into this hole because she just wants to write what she wants to write. it doesn’t have to make sense nor can it. but when what you want to write sucks this must stop. this series will be canceled in 10 issues. I only hope it's sooner and we can be done with Eve Ewing on X-books. I say this all the time. Someone, anyone Save the X-books!!! these are atrocious.

I dare anyone to make sense of Eves writing and rules for Greymatter lane. This book is well drawn and that’s about all the positivities. Look how many reviews it’s getting. A mass exodus from this book for all the reviewers…why? Well it’s really bad. Eve lost the plot long ago in issue 2. I want good X-men books. I really do. Aside from Orlando’s X-men Outback (which was just mid) the franchise is lost. 26 characters in this book with a rotten script. The shadow king can’t save this book. Tracking people’s scents on the astral plane was hilarious. This series was announced as canceled after just a handful of issues. So sad it took even that long. . It’s awful stuff.

Just look at the amount of people who even write reviews for this garbage title.No ones reading it. no ones buying it. I got a damaged copy for 50% off from my store based on morbid curiosity . This is the final issue of a terrible series. We get Nazis with Gumby arms that are really just bodies full of cockroaches. yup. this is Erik Larsen at his worst. Such a talented artist at one time, who let his once great Savage Dragon title slip into disarray. Time to Hang it up Erik and back into obscurity you go.

Ayodele should write an apology to Storm fans for this comic and the 5 issues we had to endure. Story has become a mess of a character. shes god like In power, and the series couldnt be any worse of a read. we rush to an ending at a pace that is hilarious. it ends so abruptly you'd think you missed panels. but nope. it seems editorial told Ayodele - end it. enough is enough". I thank them for it. this series was off the rails bad. im not review bombing. I dare you to read it all and come away thinking this was in anyway shape or form even mid tier.

This comic is $7.99 for a 55 page book from Saladin Ahmed ,who is currently writing a terrible Wolverine comic and Erica Schultz, has written nothing of note or good ever. The cover pretty much tells you all you need to know. Absolutely awful costume designs for a mutant masquerade ball. We did a bunch of these terrible, orgy type Galas over and over in Krakoa. Those were dark times that I wish were long forgotten.so lets revisit it! This time we get the same BDSM looks for once great characters like Cyclops and Wolverine. Each page seeing these costumes gave me embarrassment and sadness for what they have done. I thought the fishnet look for Cyclops was bad a few years back but nope. We open with Sebastian Shaw giving a speech about mutants and yada yada...lets all dance and show off our bondage met gala inspired outfits in hope of variant covers. as promised we get our murder mystery. however keeping anyones interest on that mystery for 50 plus pages when its written this poorly is an endurance challenge. Ahmed and Schultz couldn't pull this off. the reveal at the end is poorly done. The books pacing is awful. there is so much talking to fill pages. We don't actually get to see any murder or get started on the books plot until page 22... I was checking the page count over and over. the opening art was lovely to see. then it completely falls apart. by page 30 we actually have the heroes decide to find the killer. thats how much talking there is. the reveal on who killed Shaw, just terrible. This is a really bad comic and no one should buy it. I know i'm sorry I did.

Tom King gives into all his worst impulses. Jumping around to story parts he feels like telling with no justification, tearing down other characters to prop up his own, and of course complete mischaracterizations of the actual title character. This book is rotten.

What can be said about this issue. I’ll start with the most basic. Tom king sets up nothing. Tom Writes what he may think is a big story arc but like most of his work It falls flat from the bad out of character work. You get 1 panel of WW in the book. The storytelling is just abysmal. The characters? Wooden. Often feeling like they are reading scripts or cosplaying as the actual characters. Much of this book is boring, Diana fans deserve better than this. Trinity is insufferable and the King change from a GL ring to it being kryptonite only highlights his screw up with the GL rules, so he changes it. It now makes the fact that the matriarch shot energy from a kryptonite ring all the more dumb. I really do not think Tom King is a bad writer.often his initial concept is good or at least interesting. But as a COMIC WRITER Tom king is awful and anyone who suffers through his run on your favorite character… I pity you. No worries. The lack of sales and outcry always catch up to him. At least the art is beautiful.

even the shill reviewers have jumped ship on this book. if you think WW cannot get any worse than what Tom King has done before, well this issue shows that you simply lack sufficient imagination. $4.99 for this trash printed on paper. written in true Tom King Style with full narration coupled with nonsense happening on the page. Tom King displays almost his full arsenal- hand waves, tearing each and every character down to boost up his own, random cameos for shock value, skipping all over to tell parts of the story he wants, powerful women who just come off as nasty snotty and cold, idiotic men, and just a blatant screw you to actual fans of Diana.no dead kids though. he forgot that part. Trinity is unstoppable, and mixed with Diana.. well they can turn water into wine. let me break it down this way. Tom King is a cancer to Wonder Woman. to undo the damage he has done on this run may take awhile, because some younger writer may be misguided enough to think this may actually be how WW acts. if you want Proper Diana read Perez. its so unfair that Daniel Sampere is drawing this as he's fantastic on art duties. cancel the book. 32 issues on this reign of Terror is enough.

The Art is the only redeeming factor. It's gorgeous to look at but is on the lower effort of what Daniel can do. aside from that we get Just terrible everything. across the board awful. Who is this book even for? its not for WW fans. Diana is cold, nasty and just unlikeable. Tom also couldn't be bothered to learn the new history of DC by Mark waid. Diana was made of clay. and guess what Tom goes back to the Zeus one.Tom continues to try his wow moments and it's just so bad. he abuses and destroys every single character he comes across. Superman..oh let's kill him for shock value. Get this guy off the book. He's the absolute worst at WW. I loathe each page.

What Tom King has done here is ruin a character. He kills Stewart. Violates and recreates rules and lore to fit his storyline that’s a mess. If he followed a flow or established rules. It would fall apart. Tom also skips around to the parts he wants to tell. Damned be a seamless story. Screw this book. This artist is wasted. Tom is dangerous to comics because someone may one day like this and replicate it. If you like WW. don’t buy this. If you like comics. Don’t buy this.

I'm a fan of the character Iceman dating back to the original X-men days. Bobby is awesome. His design in age of apocalypse is among my favorite looks. His coming out was an awesome moment for representation in comics. However it really seems that all that can ever be said or done with the character since his coming out... is that he's hyper sexual and gay. Nothing more or less. This is the 2nd or 3rd time in a series he's making out with random dudes after he saves them ... why is a heroic character who has had awesome battles with Magneto, Apocalypse, hellfire club etc limited to lame campy villains ? This is the real problem with Iceman. all we get told is he's gay and extremely sexually active vs being a goddamn hero and having awesome adventures as an Omega level mutant bad ass. This book is pathetic, offensive in its stereotypes and poorly executed on every level. This series used to be only available online as a Marvel voices comic. shame its now made print as I forgot about this. my actual score is -100/10.

If I could rate this a negative score I would. The mad hatter crapping himself , the awful dialogue throughout the book. It's Tom King at his worst. A nothing book that doesn't move the story forward except into the toilet.
