A really lovely issue indeed. A lot of fun but also continues to set up some important stories for the future of the series. Definitely a needed break in tone, glad to see Kaine having some fun.

Everything about this issue is truly amazing. Wolverine vs. Scarlet Spider is truly amazing, and I can't state enough how much I couldn't believe the outcome. Hopefully we'll see his friend become hhis sidekick more often. Her costume is actually amazing and Kaine is dumb.

Wolverine joins forces with Scarlet Spider. I don't think I need any other reason to give this the best score I can.

I'm not sure why, but I didn't enjoy the last issue of this story as much. It's still Wolverine and Scarlet Spider, but something about it didn't really hit me as much as it could've.

A good start to this story, but some of it left me feeling empty. I kinda like that this version of the Sinister Six is like The Flash's Rogues.

A lot better than the first issue in my opinion. Seeing Superior Spider-Man's conflicted thought about Peter and Mary Jane's relationship and then his growth as a hero were very interesting in my opinion, and I can't wait to see how this effects Octavius moving forward.

Absolutely amazing issue. Seeing this version of Spider-Man and J. Jonah Jameson on the same side is both terrifying and magical all at the same time. I'm also usually not a fan of The Vulture, but he has a really interesting story here as well.

Honestly wasn't too hot on this issue. Maybe it was because I wasn't too familiar with the villain, but overall it just seemed like set-up for the confrontation we'll probably see against Massacre and Superior Spider-Man in the next issue.

This issue basically ticked all the boxes that the last issue didn't. Massacre didn't really interest me as much again, but Octavius' personality definitely did. I'm really loving how Peter can influence r the ol' Doc in such small ways. Not really a fan of how he's treating Peter's coworkers, but I have a feeling that you are supposed to feel that way in the end. Can't wait to see where we go from here.

An often overlooked comic that gives Octavius a nice look through Peter's eyes as he fights his own creations that he had forgotten about a long time ago. This definitely is a must-read if you haven't read Superior Spider-Man yet.

Seeing Superior Spider-Man kick Wolverine's ass is the highlight of Otto in Pete's body for me so far. Amazing issue.

HOLY CRAP!! This was actually pretty intense. I've not read any of the Future Foundation, but I really enjoyed all of the kids in this issue. Seeing Superior Spider-Man have to deal with all of them, plus fight the antagonists of the issue, PLUS trying to keep his true secret identity under wraps was a real treat! I had an amazing time with this one! Can't wait to see where the next issue goes, since this one and the last one was such a treat!

It's really hard for me to rate this issue. I love Joker, but I really hate this version of Riddler. I just feel like it's all wrong. Everything I love about that character isn't present here, and it really is dragging down this story for me.

The prelude comics don't usually add much to the core story, but I think this does enough to add onto the current story even if a few things don't make sense in the context of when Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther takes place. Also, not really sure why Steve is wearing his costume when he rescues his team from the Raft. A weird inconsistency that could've been avoided.

A fun tie-in that is mostly pointless. Mostly just a recap, but it is cool to learn that Doctor Strange learned about the rest of the Infinity Stones on the same day he met Thor in Thor: Ragnarok.

It honestly wasn't that bad, but it was a definite disappointment for me. I understood that Peter wasn't going to be a big part of Spider-Geddon, even to the point where his role would be nearly nonexistant. But I was really excited to hear that the reason for this would appear in this series while regular adventures would continue in Amazing Spider-Man. But honestly I was expecting something with a lot more excitement. Morlun being the villain makes sense, he's continuing one of his main missions from Spider-Verse, but honestly he isn't really doing it with any style or flair that I would expect from him. Spider-Man also gets his butt handed to him without Morlun actually going for the kill which we know he can from all the deaths in Spider-Verse. I really loved Peter and Jameson's interactions though and it actually kinda saved the issue for me.

I couldn't get passed the first half of the book because they talked out pooping yourself twice, showed a guy peeing himself, and didn't get into any characterization before jumping right into the prison break. This definitely isn't my cup of tea.
