Though the Green Lantern Corps part of the story may not be for every reader, the Hal Jordan storyline is sure to excite most with the return of Ganthet and Sayd. There are also some old friends who reappear in this issue and they should play a large part in HAL JORDAN AND THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS #10. Otherwise I have really enjoyed learning about John Stewart,Guy Garner, and Soranik. Vendetti is doing a good job of showing us who thesepeople are through their interactions with each other. I'm really excited forKyle Ranyer to get that same treatment in the coming issues. Overall, I would recommendthis story if you're into Green Lanterns books. Weird Science - Reggie Hemingway
Nov 23, 2016A fairly mediocre issue that moves some puzzle pieces incrementally closer to completing a full picture. But as it is, we're still getting a fractured story where protagonists aren't even aware of one another's existences--protagonists who are named in the title of the series, mind you. The art is great, and Rot Lop Fan is in this issue, so that's something to celebrate. But the story is just plodding along, and I fear we may be staring down the barrel of another bloated seven-issue story arc. I hope I am wrong! Read Full Review

Nov 23, 2016Despite the fact that this issue was the second part of an arc, despite the fact this issue continued the breakneck pace it definitely felt most like a breather issue. Sandoval's art was still good, not as great as previous issue but still very consistent and beautiful to look at. Overall still a fun part to a fun series. Read Full Review

This was my favorite issue of this comic yet, with the ending being a great start to what will be a very eventful few issues. This Green Lantern team has been destroying my expectations in a very positive way.

I love how, in this series, Robert Venditti uses almost all of the characters from green lantern's mythology! The plot of the bottled lanterns is very innovative.

Comic Book Review (8.5/10) "Great," Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #9 "Bottled Light Part 2: Braniac," Writer: Robert Venditti, Penciller: Rafa Sandoval, Plot: Brainiac has used Starro to lure the remaining Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps into a trap and now both corps are trapped in a miniaturized glass prison. Meanwhile, Ganthet and Sayd are trying to figure out how a power ring was constructed purely out of will and where Hal Jordan could be. Can the Green Lantern Corps rescue spore infected Xudarians and escape Brainiac's glass prison? There is a really cool reveal at the end of the issue, and it seems most of the Green Lanterns of Sector 2814 unite at this point of this comic. So far I am digging how the Green Lanterns more
