Another really impressive issue in this series that only gets better.

Usually event tie-issues are boring or they don't make sense and take you out of the "real" story that you're following in the comic, That's not the case here, The main storyline is taking a break and this is the perfect spot to drop this adventure in, not to mention it's a plain-out great issue,

This comic is definitely worth buying. You're gonna get your money's worth of thrills, drama, action, and fun. It also adds an extra bonus if you're following the Absolute Carnage storyline.

Another installment in this really solid Amazing Spider-Man run. This is one of those "you better not miss it!" issues, because it kicks off a few pretty great storylines.

I'm not even going to ask the hypothetical "Is it worth your money?" question that I always do. In every way, shape, and form this is a Marvel comic. I mean, it's a Marvel comic from back when Marvel comics used to be Marvel Comics.

Like I stated above, I don't quite know how I feel about this issue. I liked it, but depending on what happens in 2099 Alpha and Amazing Spider-Man #35, I might love this issue.

A really decent issue. I think the art could've been better, but it doesn't take away anything from the issue.

Did I forget to mention that this issue has an excellent story? Well. It does. Its technically a 2099 tie-in (that takes place before 2099 Omega), but really its only a quick cameo that ties it into that story, and it was a bit confusing, as the 2099 part seems like its going to be continued in a future issue of this series. Aside from that, we have some plotlines that are finally tied up. A couple that has gone on about two issues too long in my opinion. As always, Spencer gives us some killer dialogue and some really crazy ideas like a Spider-Man version of the movie Groundhog Day. A great issue that quickly turns the action up to eleven and doesnt slow it down until the very last panel. And then, he turns it up to twelve! I cant recommend this book highly enough.

A classic Spider-Man comic if there ever was one. How do Nick Spencer & Ryan Ottley out Spider-Man creators that came decades before them?

Good, but not great. If this issue had a little more substance to it, it would've been pretty great.

It may not be the most action-packed issue in Spider-Man history, but it's one of the best reads in recent memory. Even though this issue moves everything forward, it's also a decent jumping-on point for those who haven't read Spider-Man comics in a while.

An issue that's truly worthy of its epic numbering (#850). You're gonna have a great time reading this one!!

I know, I know. Some of you are thinking "Jimmy, I'm not made of money. Also, these supplemental issues really suck most of the time." Hey, I can't argue with you, but please rest assured that this is not the case with this issue. You're gonna not only get an enjoyable story, what happens here will affect events in the other storyline. Worth both time and money.

These in-between issues are really nailing it! With the combo of Matthew Rosenberg and Fredrico Vicentini, you're not going to go wrong, and besides, their issues are actually adding great behind-the-scenes stuff to the main storyline. You're going to enjoy everything more if you pick this up.

DO NOT let this issue get spoiled for you... the ending of this book will freak you out! Don't deny yourself that experience. This is a fantastic comic with both story and art building throughout the book to a great big last page shocker!!!!! (No, it's not Shocker.)

The wow needle is at 4 out of 10. I'm sorry, but the art just really took the excitement out of it for me. If it would've been consistent, it would've been a different story. It gets the job done, but that's about it.

Like I mentioned earlier, a little meta, but it actually needs to be at this point in the game. Although a quick read, it's really worth picking up.

Even though this is AN ending, it's not THE ending to this story. This issue is a standard of excellence in modern storytelling.

I'm really hoping that Spencer and Bagley continue this run for a long, long time. They play very well off each other, and the true winner is the reader!!

Even with a couple of head-scratching moments, this book is still up there in quality with the other issues of Spencer's run. Add to that, Gleason's phenomenal art and you've got the first "classic" issue of 2021.

Good, but not great. If you're following this title, plunk down you're $4 with the person at the counter and know you'll be entertained. If you're a "wait and see if I like it" person, you might want to wait for the next issue, as this one isn't as strong as other issues in the series.

From cover to cover, a surprisingly good comic. A very compelling story, gorgeous art, just an all-around great time!!!

Every two weeks, this book still continues to surprise and entertain me, and this issue is no exception.

Add to that the colorist team of Morry Hollowell & Andres Crossley, who give the book the lions share of its mood and youve got a hit book on your hands. The cherry on the cake of this issue is letterer Joe Caramagnas fantastic letters that make you actually hear different voices in your head for the different characters.

An essential chapter if you're reading Sinister War, but if you're not, don't worry. You can enjoy this book on its own, and it's a very enjoyable, well-done, issue!!

One of my favorite Spider-Man issues in recent memory. You get a long-promised ending and a brand-new beginning and best of all, a lot of questions answered.

While highly entertaining, the book executes the main purpose of every comic. It gets the reader to stick and stay. After only one issue, you're sure to add this one to your pull list. You won't have to give it the standard "three-issue test", the and story and art are gonna hook you in right away.

I surprising change of pace issue that doesn't slow down the action of the story much at all. I can't stress how much this issue was needed to get the audience behind the main character, as I have a feeling there are people that are still resistant to the change.

A surprisingly awesome "between" issue that hits the mark on the story it's telling as well as adds to the overall big picture to this era ofAmazing Spider-Man. Both story and art are worth writing home about. Or text home about. I don't know, do whatever you want, just pick up this issue.

There was a 90% chance that I was going to like this new direction for Spider-Man, but if you would've told me that I'd like it this much, I never would've believed you. This issue keeps the train rolling with more top=flight storytelling and art. A new take on an old story.

A very well-done issue. Seriously, this series just continues to get better. The writing team is really working as a team, and the artists that have been chosen are totally on point. Run out and get this one on Wednesday, that way if the football game on Thanksgiving Day stinks, you'll have something to read!

What could've been a really gross issue, turns into a charming, feel-good story in this tale of a MAY/December (WINK!) romance.

A very good book overall, my only problem is that if you didn't read the previous issue, this might be a little confusing. If you're a regular Spider-Man reader then you're definitely going to enjoy this one!

Another sterling issue from the "Beyond" creative team, this issue is by Patrick Gleason in particular. Really wanted this to be better than it actually was. Art actually brings the book down, but still a very fun read.

Excellent artist Guillermo Sanna draws this issuereally well. For the most part, this is a story of people without superpowers, but with many layers. The emotions he conveys through just his drawings of peoples faces is astonishing. Not to mention their body language, stance, and outright physicality. Everything he draws is gritty, sophisticated, and real. Like the writing, this is a very different method of storytelling than your usual issue of The Amazing Spider-Man.

This Is the kind of book that you hope your summer crossover has in it. It could've been Norman rehashing his life to a psychiatrist for the billionth time but Spencer & Vicentini give us a 100% new story that's entertaining and features great art, You better line up at the store tomorrow!!!

A great way to start things off! Zeb Wells' exhilarating story is only made better by John Romita Jr's new, slightly softer style. Get in on the ground floor with this one, folks!!

When you put the perfect creative team on an iconic book, you get better results than you thought possible. That's the case here. Wells and Romita Jr. both tweak their styles a tiny bit to create a book that's beyond what you'd ever expect.

A fantastic chapter in the current storyline. Moves things forward, and keeps you engrossed in what's going on. The summer comic book landscape is rapidly becoming a little cramped, don't let this excellent book get lost in the shuffle!!!

A really exciting start to this mini-series. Although nowhere near as grand in scale as the original, it's nice to see Namor back in action and ticked off at the surface world.

If you've seen the Batman movie from 1989 (and you have), I highly recommend this book. If you haven't seen it, after reading this comic you will want to watch it. Packed with lots of action, drama, and gorgeous art, this comic is one of the highlights of the summer. And I do not hesitate in the least when I give this comic....A PERFECT SCORE!!!!!

Another fine issue, definitely worth picking up. This series is the one that you give people as a gateway to getting them into comics. Everyone is familiar with the movie but will be shocked as to how good the comic is, and that will be a great start to their journey into the comics industry.

This whole series has been an absolute gift for anyone whos a fan of the 1989 film. Its also a great introduction to comics, so do your duty to the industry and give this series to someone who isnt as into comics as you are.

I can't say I'm surprised this was so good, given the creative team, but this comic was surprisingly good and a nice visit back to the animated Batman universe that so many of us loved.

A really solid issue of an underrated comic. Give this book a chance, I promise you that you're going to enjoy this book.

David Baldeon is the artist on this book and theres really nothing I can say to accurately describe just how gorgeous his art is. Take your favorite artist, and put them on steroids. Then take that artist and put him on crack. Now multiply that artist by five, and youll be about halfway to the levels that Baldeon hits on this issue. Look, I knew that I was going to like this book, okay? I wont lie. But I never thought that Id like it to the level that I did. Right now were all tired of those Best of the year lists that everybody puts out. We never remember the stuff that comes out in like the first eight months of the year and then those lists are all made up of stuff that comes out in the fall and during the holidays. Well, Ive got a notebook and Ive already written down Ben Reilly: Spider-Man under Comics of the year. This comic gets my highest recommendation possible.

I didn't think that this issue could come close to being as good as the first one, but I was wrong. So. So. Wrong. DeMatteis & Baldeon hit every high spot and sink every shot in this issue. Complete and total home run.

This issue measures up to the impossibly high standards that DeMatteis, Baldeon, Silva, and Caramagna have set since issue one hit the stands. Chock-full of great story, great art, great colors, and great letters!

A hell of an issue! This is the kind of book that gets your heart beating faster and makes you forget to breathe when you're reading it. Some great payoff, and some great action in this book, highest recommendation possible!

Grab yourself a bottle of Pepsi Blue and a bag of 3D Doritos and pick this book up! You're gonna love this issue as much or more than you've loved the whole series. As the saying goes "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened".

No matter what you're expecting from this book, this book is not what you're expecting. A very pleasant surprise that delivers both laughs and action, with an organic reason for this team-up. An essential part of the Beyond era.

Were lucky enough to have Roger Langridge the artist on this title, and hes about the best choice that I can think of to illustrate this book. Hes got that awesome style where theres a lot going on in the background, but it never ever distracts your eyes from whats important. The characters are all portrayed as they should be, without exception and this is just another time when Langridge proves himself to be an artist that doesnt work enough.

This is a great cover to cover page-turner that will enhance youre whole King in Black experience, but you dont have to actually read King in Black to enjoy this issue. Its enjoyable enough on its own.

The second issue is just as good as the first, and I have complete confidence that future issue that will be even better,

I really can't compliment this book enough. If you like any kind of comics, this is for you. It can be read as almost any type of book. Drama, action, fantasy, even comedy. Don't let this one sell out before you get your copy!!

Wow, this was a fun issue!! I liked the story a lot and I was glad that Zub didn't waste time building characters that we're all familiar with. Add to that the amazing art of Medina and this one's totally worth the price of admission!!

If you're not reading this book, please start. Even though it's the third issue, it's a great jumping-on point for new readers. Plus, it's awesome.

This book is really good. In an entertaining way, in an artistic way, and it's technically sound as well. I think that covers every base possible.

A solid issue. It's got some really good art and a really good story, but I have to be honest, Deadpool really gets in the way. The outcome of this story would be exactly if Deadpool was taken out.

It's not common for a sixth issue, but I would say more than any other, this issue sets the tone for the series and what to expect. Surprises, excitement, and a whole lot of fun.

Another exceptional issue. Just when I expect Zub and Medina to cool the pacing of the book a little, they actually turn it up.

This issue is too good to put down, it's too good to wait for the trade, it's just too good-period! I know it's the penultimate issue of the series, but if you haven't started reading this, you've still got plenty of time! Get on it!!

This issue, and this series, is such a refreshing change of pace from everything else DC is currently publishing. It's light but serious, enjoyable, and funny without being lowbrow, uplifting, and hopeful. You won't feel like shooting yourself in the head when you're done reading it. I wish other creative teams would take a lesson from this series.

This book is an explosive start to the series that's sure to be filled with action and intrigue. The foundation is laid here, but more than that, it entertains on every level. This is a series that you shouldn't be afraid to take a chance on!

This issue is about three steps down from what it should be. Not the fault of the creative team, simply put they have too much story to give the audience and not enough pages to do it. Editorial should've either given them more issues or cut some of the subplots.

No matter if you're a fan of the original movie, or have only caught the Cobra Kai series on Youtube, this book is gonna be a great compliment to the story of Johnny Lawrence. Is it worth the $4? I'd say so. It's definitely worth picking up.

A very satisfying issue. As for the series overall, there is SO MUCH story left to be told in the Karate Kid saga.

After many years of teaching, Andy Schmidt is back on the front lines of comic storytelling where he belongs. In this debut issue, both art and story are great, definitely in the top 5 books that DC's putting out this month. Pick it up!!!!

PLEASE! I'm begging you!! For your own good, buy this comic!!! Look, you're really gonna like it and this issue is a "read more than once" kind of comic.

A great read! Zdarsky does a lot of storytelling with very few words. Add to that Fornes' excellent art and Woodard's amazing colors, and you've got one great comic.

Another really good issue in a long chain of really good issues. But I'm really getting the fever for some superhero/supervillain throwdowns.

Definitely head and shoulders above the last issue. Solid story, great art, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat for the next issue.

This issue was my favorite issue of Daredevil that I've read in a very long time. The creative team gets him back to his roots without losing the progress that the character has made through the years.

This is the second part of a two part story that's going to be held in high regard for years to come as a turning point for the character. Needless to say, this is a must-read.

This issue is both an epilogue and a brand new chapter in the Daredevil legacy. I recommend this one very strongly.

This is a straight-up awesome comic. It hooked me from the first panel and I don't think I breathed until I finished the book. And the art was just as good. DD gets a slight adjustment to his costume that I think everybody will get behind, This book is worth both your time and money.

Despite a couple of flaws, it's a solid issue that moves the Daredevil character and story in a brand new, different way. Worth both your money and time.

This book has it ALL!! Even if you haven't been reading King in Black, you're still gonna get everything out of this book than someone who's read every single KIB comic has. Brilliant writing, superb art-you can't ask for anything else!

If this book isn't on your pull list, it really should be. This is one of those comics that does NOT read better in trade. It reads better when you read it and reread it and spend all month thinking about it.

Not the most feel-good issue, but one that you will definitely remember. This issue changes course for Darkhawk and this series. The great ending will have you on the edge of your seat!!

An awesome ending to a brilliant introductory series for this character. Higgins & Ramirez wrap up almost everything very nicely while leaving enough stuff unresolved for there to be plenty to address in upcoming stories.

I can't speak for the rest of the book, you'll have to check out comic-watch.com for the reviews of the other stories, but if you want to read a great Booster Gold story, this is the place you need to look!

Is it worth the $4.99? I'd say maybe. Though I enjoyed the story quite a bit, there wasn't a real sense of urgency in this book. I'm very interested to see what happens in the next issue, but I don't quite know if it's a book that I'll think about until then.

Buy this issue and the previous one, if you didn't. I guarantee you this book isn't what you think it is. I have a feeling this title is going to be very sought out once people start hearing about how good it is.

A really good catch your breath issue. After the first two issues had things flying fast and furious, this one lets you sit back and dig into the real meat of the character.

Everybody has an off day. Let's just say that the creative team had a bad day when they did this comic. It's not on the level of previous issues, so we'll brush it off and start fresh next issue. That's a really nice way of saying skip this issue.

A solid comic, if it was an issue of What The...?. but for the "serious" course that the book is on, it's not that great.

Do you know what you should buy? This comic. Is it worth $4? Nope. I think it's worth about $8, so just think of it as getting it for half price. Buy it, read it, then read it again. I've read it twice all ready, and I've only had access to it for an hour.

It's been some time since we've had some new characters in ARAH and these seem like very interesting characters that will last. A change of pace adventure that's exciting as it turns the focus on Agent Helix and Snake-Eyes as they take the battle to the organization that's supplying Cobra with some pretty important stuff.

With all the hype surrounding the release of the trailer for the Moon Knight series, now's a really good time for you to jump onboard this comic. It's only 7 issues deep, so it's easy to get caught up, and it's a great comic that I'm sure you're going to thoroughly enjoy.

This issue really makes the reader feel like they're a part of the story. MacKay pulls you right into the trenches besides Marc, and Cappuccio's art makes sure you know you're not going anywhere in this exciting issue. Highly recommended!

Lots of missed shots in this book. I really wanted to enjoy it but some creative choices that were made maybe shouldn't have been.

I'd recommend buying this book. It's entaining on so many levels. A good mystery, a good comic, a good BOOK, period. There's just one thing. When you're done reading it, give it to a kid. Leave it in your doctor's waiting room, Donate it to your local library. Whatever you need to do to get it out there for other people to read.

This is a really enjoyable book that I think you'll have a lot of fun reading. It's not all adrenaline and humor, though. Kelly throws in some seriousness just to make it a little extra meaty.

Surprisingly warm, charming, and at the same time exciting and interesting, Pretty much like an actual episode of Discovery, just way, WAY different.

A great start to what I believe to be a great series. More than just a media tie-in, this is a story that will get you ready for the upcoming Picard TV series, but more importantly, for the rest of the comic series.

Writers Kirsten Beyer & Mike Johnson do a stellar (no pun intended) job on the story for the second month in a row. The story gains a lot more tension in this issue, and Beyer & Johnson sure know how to convey it to the audience. They use a great mixture of dialogue, scenery, and body language to give the reader that there is a real sense of urgency about whats going on in this story. They also manage to deliver a couple of shocking revelations in the final pages of the issue that really make me anxious for the next issue. Im not sure if the next issue will be out before the series starts, but I sure hope it is. Itd be nice to read this series before watching the show because I can almost guarantee events here will be touched on in Picard. All said and done, a really great issue that I highly recommend.

What impresses me with every issue of this comic is the way that Sacks and Villanelli continue to tell compelling, interesting, and entertaining stories about some of the coolest of the Star Wars characters. Sure, this book may not feature Han, Luke, or Leia, but it is just as, if not more, cooler than a book that stars the "A-Listers"!!

If you're on the fence about the High Republic era, pick this book up and give it a try. It's a nice introduction to what's happening at this point in time in the Star Wars galaxy, without drowning you with information. Stott's artwork is, as always, a treat.

Another great chapter in this event. It's gotta be hard to do a Star Wars event. You have to tell a compelling story without changing certain events and you have to "land" at one particular place. Hats off to Charles Soule and company for doing a really great job!

The penultimate chapter of this mini-series reads as exciting as a climax issue would. All we have to do is enjoy the heck out of this issue, then wait at the very edges of our seats for the next issue to come out. You're reading this series, you're going to really enjoy this issue, but if you're reading all the tie-ins, this issue might make your head explode, but I hope not. I need retweets.

This is the way you want your summer mega-events to begin: a compelling story, engaging art, and a first shot that leaves you counting down the days until the next chapter. The gauntlet of the summer HAS BEEN THROWN!!!

A very well-done comic that's going to leave you satisfied, yet wishing there was going to be a direct sequel or next issue. In this case, the only bad part about this one-shot is that it's a one-shot.

The mega-crossover event that I really don't want to end and this book is part of the reason why. Smart, witty, beautiful, action-packed, it's everything a Star Wars comic should be. Coincidentally, it's also everything a good comic should be. Definitely worth your time and money.

If I can't have Erik Burnham writing Ghostbusters comics, then this is a great alternative. As a guy who's brand-new to Beast Wars, this was the perfect introduction, while being an awesome and enjoyable read. I'm sure that long time fans will enjoy it just as much.

Good, but not great. This book could've been a lot of fun, but unfortunately, it missed the boat. If you're enjoying the Year of the Villain specials, pick this up. If you're just a casual Shazam fam, I'd recommend picking up the regular book or even Batman/Superman instead.

Ambitious, but it just falls short. This story had tons of potential and once I realized what the issue was going to be, I got very excited at its possibilities. I was hoping for Jack Nicholson, but I got Jared Leto.

Lex Luthor is the ultimate super-villain, and this book should've reflected that instead, we get example after example of Luthors that do nothing but fail epically. Yes, the ending is pretty great, but it can't save the rest of the issue from being mediocre.
