Issues like this is what Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda was meant to be. Gorilla-Man, Ka-Zar, Bruu, American Eagle, Fat Cobra, and Mockingbird finally step out of the shadow of T'Challa and Okoye, who appear briefly. Dragons are attacking Avengers mountain and Gorilla-Man leads the defense while T'Challa and Okoye meet with the League of the Realms. The Asgard scenes are beautifully drawn. The action scenes at Avengers mountain are awesome and Zub perfectly nails Gorilla Man's humor. The last page reveals of Fin Fang Fool was awesome and hilarious. I was close to dropping this series a couple months ago, but it's quickly flying up my buy list.

Prelude: BP and the Agents of Wakanda keeps being inconsistent for me. Here's hoping this one is on the better side. The Good: I liked T'Challa and Okoye on Asgard. The Bad: The fight scene didn't work too well for me. Conclusion: It's passable but I'm tiring of this series.

Six Agents are flat-footed by a dragon attack on Avengers Mountain. They fight bravely, with Fat Cobra doing the heavy lifting and Broo eventually uncovering the dragons' motivation. It has some great visuals, particularly in the fight scenes, and the script rolls along at a fast, jolly pace. By refusing to reach for anything beyond a popcorn comic, this issue becomes a pretty fun example of the form.
