Great starter to a new series. Established a classic and interesting team combination. Set up an epic Avenger-style story that you would expect. The art is sublime.

Start out great. Unfortunately end with a a whimper.

The Avenger story peaks interest enough to pick up the first issue, maybe first arc. Jason Aaron story is always playing the long game but the epic scale is fitting in an Avenger story. Coates' Captain America, however, fail to excite and even make me dread what's coming next with typical heavy handed political propaganda from Coates.

Another, technically, one off issue about the Squadron Supreme. Specifically the Blur this time. While it plays little part in the grand story, it is a fun issue in a vacuum. The idea of the Flash, but with Magic-based powers is fun. and his rouge gallery are some interesting combinations/reimaginations as well. The art is colorful and dynamic, fitting of a Flash book.

The feeling of fear and horror that this book gives the reader is unlike anything I've read before. Def one of if not the best book on the shelves right now

I understand what the author is trying to say/do. It is satire. It is very heavy handed satire. But this is also not a comic book. It is probably the stupidest thing I ever read

This is an advertisement. A very well-written and well drawn advertisement, but still an advertisement.

A great set up to a potentially great story. But the uneven artwork let the issue down a little.
