This was a surprisingly uneventful low-key issue for an opening issue. Very little happened. However, the little that did happen hinted that future issues might be more entertaining, so I'll stick with it for now.

This current run of Moon Knight sometimes walks a fine line between being really clever and a bit messy. More often than not it falls the right side of that line, but this issue was just a bit messy.

This is the best Punsiher run since Garth Ennis.

A slight improvement over recent issues, but still sub-par.

For the majority of the comic I was thinking, "This is a well-written comic, and the art's good, but I'm probably not the target audience." Then the twist on the final page made me think, "Actually, I think I am the target audience after all," and it left me curious to read more.

I have to admit I found this incredibly boring, but the art was decent.
