Batman/Superman: World's Finest #35 is a fantastic first chapter in an intriguing new arc that will surely add more Atlantean action and amazement!

D.C. K.O. Knightfight #1 is an exciting tie-in issue full of action, suspense, and a premise that should attract all Batman readers.

Doctor Strange #8 answers one big question and ends with a surprise that should leave readers anxious to find out what happens next.

Simon Spurrier and Mike Deodato Jr. make a splash in their first full issue on The Flash and leave readers with an enthralling first issue to their run.

Green Arrow #20 picks up threads of precious Green Arrow themes and delivers something new, meaningful, and well-executed.

Condon delivers heartfelt scenes, intense ones that might make the reader laugh, and ones that will leave you aghast. These moments are all drawn with intense line work, and brilliant colors, and all of this comes together to deliver a meaningful story.

Green Arrow #25 perfectly balances superhero comics with one of the biggest mental health topics in the world by delivering a story full of sincerity, realism, and tragedy.

Green Arrow #28 is a perfect reminder of how a story with a strong social message can be far more moving than just fighting a supervillain to save the day.

Green Arrow #31 is one of the most memorable comics of the year and is the perfect standalone story.

Kaiju No. 8 Vol. 9 is a spectacular story which prepares both the readers and the characters for the impending threats looming form No. 9.

Nightwing #100 is a spectacular issue that brings together everything necessary for a perfect anniversary issue that is the ultimate payoff for readers.

Overall, Nightwing #104 is a very fun and enjoyable read that wraps up all loose ends. It's an example of having team-ups in a character's main series done right that gives everyone the right amount of spotlight. And of course, it has spectacular art from cover to cover. All in all, this is a can't-miss issue for Nightwing fans!

Nightwing enters the All In initative with a slam dunk of a first issue as the series' new creative team shifts the tone of the book into becoming a more grounded mystery.

Nightwing #120 utilizes each creative team member's strengths to deliver a capitvating story ripe with action, intrigue, and charm.

Dan Watters, Dexter Soy, and Veronica Gandini keep the ball rolling with another incredible Nightwing story full of depth and intensity.

Nightwing #125 is another spectacular issue that feels just as captivating, if not more so, than the prior arc, and balances the emphasis on Maggie Sawyer and Nightwing to deliver a more well-rounded depiction of what direction readers can expect this arc to take.

Nightwing #132 is an excellent issue full of thrills, action, and a game-changing cliffhanger that readers won't want to miss.

The Bat-Man: First Knight is an engaging story which focuses on his tenacity and intelligence.

In the final chapter of the first arc, Tim Drake: Robin remains one of the best books being published today, delivering a perfect mystery story through and through.

In a capitvating series finale, this issue ties everything together from Batman: Urban Legends and Tim Drake: Robin in a spectacular story about finding your way in the world.

Titans #11 does a great job handling the various threats facing the Titans while ensuring that many members get the spotlight.

In a story that shows just how special and sensational comics are capable of being, Titans Annual 2025 is already my favorite comic of the year, if not ever. It's a fantastic story that teaches readers how important love is in shaping who we are. If you only pick up one comic this year, let it be this one.

In its second issue, Titans: Beast World #2 is the best of all creatives involved in this event; and ends up being a riveting story.

In its first issue, Titans: Beast World #1 is a fantastic opening to an event that puts the Titans in the spotlight, for better or worse!

In a stellar first issue, World's Finest Teen Titans #1 modernizes a classic team while keeping things interesting.

World's Finest: Teen Titans #2 is another strong issue in the series that continues to make a fun story.

In the third issue of the miniseries, World's Finest: Teen Titans #3 is a very fun issue with an serious undertone that appears to deliver an intentional and important message to readers.

The first issue of the new arc 'Fire-Baptized Species' starts off strong by accepting the importance of the previous stories and entering the X-Men, and readers, into a brand new day for the series.

Zatanna: Bring Down the House #2 is a fantastic issue that balances the importance of identity with self-empowerment.

This issue of Zatanna: Bring Down the House is a spectacular read that combines an intriguing mystery with a grotesque, magical joyride.

This issue really is a slam dunk between an incredible creative duo that uses heartfelt storytelling, engaging paneling, and encapsulating colors to deliver a memorable book. With one issue left in this miniseries, Zatanna is seemingly set on the right path, and it couldn't have been done without all of the preceding events that helped push her in the right direction.

Zatanna: Bring Down the House #5 is a perfect ending to an incredible mini-series from a creative team who clearly hold a lot of love for the character.

In the series finale, World's Finest: Teen Titans #6 manages to wrap up everything in a satisfying way.

This issue has a unique and optimistic tone that feels like the beginning of a new era for Wally West.

Batman/Superman: World's Finest remains one of DC's strongest titles and introduces a capitvating new story for readers.

Doctor Strange #3 is the best entrry in the series so far as it both reflects on prior conflicts while buildiing up to the mysteries of the unknown.

Through its simple premise, Doctor Strange #11 manages to become an exciting and memorable issue while ending by placing a lingering question in front of the reader.

A great first issue in the newest arc that is followed up by a great backup story.

Nightwing #111 offers a great team-up of the original Dynamic Duo while also delivering a riveting backup story.

In its first issue, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #1 encapsulates both worlds very well and delivers an enxciting mashup of two popular titles.

The Bat-Man: First Knight #2 is another riveting issue that shows how successful this unique narrative strategy for superhero comics can be.

Tim Drake: Robin #4 continues its thrilling story with great narrative choices.

Absolute Flash #1 is a great first issue that shows how the trials and turbulence that Wally is sure to face are likely coming sooner than he is ready for on his way to becoming this world's speedster.

Absolute Flash #2 is a fantastic story that uses excellent art to elevate the intensity of the stakes Wally faces as he's outnumbered and alone.

What makes Absolute Flash so compelling? I think this issue exemplifies the reasons so well. The series has given The Flash a breath of fresh air for those who have felt the main series has become a little convoluted. Here, Lemire continues to take the familiar and flip it on its head by taking the familiar and turning it into something very unexpected. Through these surprises, the story feels unpredictable in the best way possible.

Thanks to the perfect mix of innovative storytelling and strong art, 'Batman/Superman: World's Finest' #14 is another excellent entry in the series.

Filled with exciting action sequences, Batman/Superman: World's Finest #15 is another strong entry that keeps readers invested from cover to cover.

Doctor Strange #5 is the strongest entry in the series thus far and ends on a dramatic cliffhanger.

The second chapter in Jed Mackay's time on Doctor Strange kicks off by preparing the titular character for what may be his biggest challange thusfar in an exciting first issue.

In the penultimate issue of the second arc, Doctor Strange #9 is a very impressive issue showing how well suited Jed MacKay, Pasqual Ferry, and Heather Moore are for the series.

Doctor Strange #18 is an great finale to a book with an emotional goodbye to Stephen Strange and those around him.

In Chris Condon and Montos' first full issue on Green Arrow, the pair deliver an incredible story that feels like a return to basics for the character while offering a new kind of threat.

Chris Condon, Montos, and Adriano Lucas keep showing how captivating Green Arrow is when the series is given a detailed, complex, mysterious direction. A great continuation of a return to roots for him.

Green Arrow #21 is another great story that may leave readers questioning their awareness of chemical tragedies in their greater communities.

Green Arrow #22 is another strong issue in the arc "Fresh Water Kills" that maintains a strong sense of urgency.

Green Arrow 2024 Annual #1 is the end of an era for Oliver Queen that feels shows how all of Oliver's hard work pays off when spending time with family.

Knight Terrors: Robin #2 is a great story that is engaging and well thought out.

Nightwing #99 is one of the best issues to date, keeping readers invested from cover to cover.

In the first chapter of this team-up arc, 'Nightwing' #101 carries two compelling stories that will keep readers on the edge of their seat for all the things yet to come.

Nightwing #102 further develops an exciting Titans story while keeping Nightwing the main focus. Similarly, the backup story featuring Nightwing and Superman continues to be extrodinarily captivating.

Nightwing #105 is a creative issue that shows how fun storytelling can be while delivering an important progession in the series.

Both parts of Nightwing #107 successfully craft an engaging story for readers.

Nightwing #112 is a strong issue that displays how successful Nightwing and Batman can be at working together when written as equals. Despite the continuing fear of heights Nightwing has, he still finds a way to stand out from Batman in all the best ways. Additionally, the backup story offers potential future connections to explore between Nightwing and one of DC's most villainous villains.

Overall, Nightwing #113 is a great issue that shows the importance of both Dick Grayson and Nightwing to everyone around him, including those who pick up his stories to connect with the hero. This comic carries many touching and heartfelt moments, that help to make an enjoyable story. Additionally, the return of Marv Wolfman is certainly a major highlight and carries the most heartfelt moment. That said, the setup for the finale arc of Taylor and Redondo certainly will have readers nervous about what's in store for Nightwing.

Nightwing #114 is the beginning of the end for Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo's tenure on Nightwing. This issue reveals how intense their final chapter will be.

Nightwing #118 is a very strong final issue to close the book on Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo's tenure on the series, and does so by successfuly putting the character in a better place than he was.

Nightwing #123 is another excellent issue that closes up the first arc of Dan Watters, Dexter Soy, and Veronica Gandini's time on the series while also being one of the best opening arcs a creative team has ever had on the title.

Nightwing #126 is a captivating read that is elevated by incredible art from Francesca Francavilla that helps emphasize the tone and severity of the threat Nightwing and Detective Sawyer are facing by illustrating a more intense and grittier environment.

Through all the grit and intensity, Nocterra #13 is another strong entry in the series,

Nocterra: Nemesis Special #1 is a spectacular tie-in event that builds towards an epic conclusion.

Steve Orlando, Kath, Lobo, and Bob Quinn deliver a love letter to Donna Troy that emphasizes her good-hearted nature and dedication to helping others.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #4 ends perfectly, wrapping this crossover up in a satisfying way that makes it feel truly special.

In the final issue of this brief mini-series covering Batman's early days of his vigilante work, issue #3 perfectly wraps up all its loose ends fittingly.

Tim Drake: Robin #3 is a self-contained story driven by enigmas that would even make the Riddler scratch his chin. Throughout the story, Fitzmartin and Rossmo continue to create one of the most underrated books in DC right now. Tim's life couldn't be more interesting, and readers can jump into this arc with little prior knowledge. This continues to be a captivating series worth reading for anyone curious about what the next step in Tim Drake's life is.

Tim Drake: Robin #5 is another great entry in the series that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. The issue is filled with mystery and is similarly supported by stellar art.

Tim Drake: Robin #7 is an exciting opportunity to learn more about Bernard while continuing the pacing of the overarching story.

Titans #14 is another captivating issue by a strong creative team that exhibits the Titans' ability to inspire others.

A great issue that remains engaging from cover to cover.

In issue #4, Titans: Beast World has a heartbreaking story to tell while ending on arguably one of the most important pages in Titans history.

In the fifth issue, Titans: Beast World puts the Titans on the offense, for better or wose, as they prepare to strike back against the forces which threaten them.

In the final issue of the event Titans: Beast World, the story wraps up the first major Titans event very well and positions them to be in the spotlight for further stories.

X-Men #3 carries a lot of emotional weight and high stakes for the team moving forward.

X-Men #7 is a very strong entry, if not the best, as the Iron Night is finally explained and winds up being well worth the wait.

Altogether, this is a fun introductory issue. A lot of things go right, and very few miss the mark. While it's a bit of a slower buildup, it does feel like the payoff will be worth it. The double mystery for its cliffhanger similarly makes the story seem worth it already, as its hook for continuing is rather powerful. Additionally, the art in the story is beautiful from cover to cover, including its cover, and fits the theme perfectly. Altogether, this is a great first issue in Zatanna's newest big story.

Doctor Strange #12 is an unexpected story that offers a unique twist on the series through a unique perspective, a ghost dog, while simultaneously being one of the most eerie issues so far. Sure, there's been various threats for Strange to face, but when he and Clea are calm, and Bats isn't, that's not right. Moreover, this issue is another riveting read that foreshadows future threats that lurk around the corners.

Batman #5 is another great issue in the series that offers a very intriguing cliffhanger following the introduction of a new character.

Batman #6 wraps up Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimnez's first arc on Batman with several bombshell announcements.

While starting the fourth arc in the series, Mark waid and Travis Moore craft an interesting story set in the Golden Age which seems pivotal to the present day!

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #36 is a great penultimate issue in an intriguing arc that refocuses on the intricacies of Atlantean politics.

With Captain America #14 being the beginning of J. Michael Straczynski's last arc on the title, the story works to revisit some of his most popular prior books as three lonely heroes team-up.

Despite starting a new story rather than carrying off of the last issue's major reveal, Doctor Strange #2 is a compelling issue that manages to keep the reader's attention.

Doctor Strange #6 is an engaging issue that takes a pre-existing story and spins it into a new direction, which makes for an enjoyable read.

Doctor Strange #13 is a fun story with much of its success found in adventure and character interactions.

Doctor Strange #14 is another fun adventure for Stephen and amps readers up for upcoming events.

Doctor Strange #16 is a great story that remains captivating thorugh its suspense and and beautiful art.

The Flash may be one of the most consistently good books at DC, and as the One-Minute War wages on, the story couldn't be more riveting.

Altogether, The Flash #800 starts rather strong and ends on a suspenseful note. Readers will have to wait until September to learn further about what lies ahead for Wally, but it's clear Spurrier has grand plans in store. Many of the stories show what made each era of The Flash beloved in recent years. Unfortunately, the Flash Family is big, and not every character gets a spotlight in this oversized issue. That said, the stories are overall enjoyable that show the impact Wally West has had on The Flash mythos.

In its third issue, The Flash #3 encourages readers to embrace the weirdness as Wally West continues to embark on a journey of discovery of both self and life.

Clearly, Waid and Cantwell put a lot of thought into delivering an interesting concept that parallels the reboots constant use of reboots DC Comics is known for. While it's unclear how big the ramifications of this story will be, it's certainly a must-read for Flash fans!

Green Arrow #17 is an engaging story that serves as both the penultimate work of Joshua Williamson while delivering a very captivating introduction to the series' new direction.

Green Arrow #23 is a very strong conclusion to the first arc of Chris Condon's time on the series that ends on a strong note to leave readers thinking.

Green Arrow #27 is an interesting analysis of the harms substance abuse pose as well as their repercussions on both the individual and on one's support system.

Green Arrow #30 is a daring issue that doesn't hold back in any way, and this is a great reflection of the hard work the creative team has put into this series.

Carrying off of a dramatic cliffhanger, Nightwing #98 manages to stand alone as an enjoyable story.

Nightwing #109 is an enjoyable read from start to finish with beautiful art.

Nightwing #110 is an enjoyable interlude before the next arc pics up in the series.

Nightwing #122 continues to show how capable of a team Dan Watters, Dexter Soy, and Veronica Gandini are by capturing the essence of an iconic character like Dick Grayson across multiple phases of his life.

Nightwing #124 is a thrilling story that shows how drastic things are becoming for Nightwing.

Nightwing #127 is a welcome return to classic superhero storytelling, balancing grit and heart with style. Watters, Soy, and Gandini deliver a thrilling, character-driven issue that grounds the series without losing its edge.

Nightwing #129 is an engaging story that is full of action, heart, and ends on an unexpected cliffhanger.

Nightwing #130 is a great issue that begins with the next arc in Dan Watters, Dexter Soy, and Veronica Gandini's time on the series by filling the issue with action, drama, and intrigue.

Nightwing #131 is an enjoyable read with a shocking cliffhanger.

With two different stories occuring in the issue, Nocterra #14 continues to overlap their themes to provide for a more enjoyable read.

In the opening to the latest and final arc of Tim Drake: Robin, the story seems to find its footing as a limited series with what could have had a bright future; that said, this issue is another strong entry for all to enjoy.

Tim Drake: Robin #9 is another intriguging issue that builds up to what seems to be a seriosuly intense series finale.

Titans #9 shows how even the most basic days for the team may have massive ramifications in future stories.

Titans #13 is a great issue that does a strong job progressing the story while adding needed character development.

In a rollercoaster of emotion and adventure, World's Finest: Teen Titans #5 which presents a threat the team will need to beat to ever move forward!

X-Men #5 is a strong issue that carries a brilliant balancing of the two psychics on the team while giving them their own challenges to face.

Absolute Flash #4 slows things down to deepen its emotional core and expand its world. With heartfelt writing and bold artistic shifts, it highlights Wally's vulnerability while teasing bigger sci-fi ambitions to come.

Absolute Flash #5 is an absolute blast of an issue. This issue has a strong pace that balances high stakes with the same emotional pull the series has remained consistent in having, while slowly alluding to bigger threats on the horizon. While there are parts of the art I don't love, I think it generally fits the theme of the arc and is overall good. And while the ending does have a bit of a jarring shift, it also offers an intriguing cliffhanger.

Absolute Flash #6 offers an interesting analysis on Wally's current foes and continues to prove how different this series is from concepts readers might expect to be familiar with.

Batman #3 takes an opportunity to slow things down while adding depth to the series as its new direction begins to take shape.

Batman #4 is an engaging issue that pushes the story towards its first big threat for Batman to face off with.

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #37 is a strong closer to the brief arc of Batman, Robin, and Superman's Atlantean adventure.

Captain America #15 is is an interesting penultimate issue to the series that manages to remain engaging through and through.

Doctor Strange #4 is another enjoyable entry that does a lot of necessary world-building.

Doctor Strange #17 is an enjoyable read that makes a lighthearted concept into an emotional story.

The Flash #2 is an interesting story with spectacular art that brings readers into a new era for Wally West

The Flash #27 is another great collaboration by Mark Waid and Christopher Cantwell in a story that provides focus on two of DC's most popular speedsters.

Green Arrow #26 is an emotional gut punch that analyzes the importance of family support in times of crisis.

Green Arrow #29 is another great issue in the series that helps build the anticipation towards the final showdown between Green Arrow and the Crimson Archer. Although I initially thought it would be more satisfying to see Roy deliver justice against the Crimson Archer, I think the divergence between these two plots worked out very well. While Roy is rediscovering the value of being a superhero with his daughter, Ollie is fighting a ghost of the past who has attempted to hurt those he loves. This direction works very well to remain true to the core values of each character. As a result, this is another strong issue that builds the excitement towards the series finale.

Green Lantern #2 is a great continuation of the first issue and begins to shed some more light on what the direction of John's story will be. Hal's story, much like his life, has a few surprises in store that fans will have to wait a few months for until they can pay off. That said, the first story is exactly what a Hal Jordan story needs to be to succeed: witty, action-packed, and filled with just the right amount of drama. Altogether, both stories are joyful reads that should make fans of both characters happy with their respective direction.

Knight Terrors: Robin #1 is a solid tie-in issue that unites two unexpected characters.

Although the main story is a bit predictable and cheesy, Nightwing #103 is enjoyable nonetheless. The secondary story shines brighter this time, with a great message for anyone to connect with. Both artists are putting 110% into their craft and it's something to be grateful for as the entire issue is beautifully drawn from cover to cover.

Nightwing #108 is another strong issue that all around manages to be both enjoyable and engaging.

Nightwing #128 is a strong issue that helps push the arc forward while continuing an interesting and unique story, unlike Nightwing's typical threats.

Nightwing #133 is another great entry in the series that finally sees Nightwing take action against Zanni. What that action might be and what repercussions it will have are things only true believers will find out by checking out this great comic book! This issue is one readers won't want to miss as it's both an indicator of the direction the series will take as a whole and how we can expect this arc to conclude.

Nightwing Annual (2022) #1 is an enjoyable read with a variety of different points of view throughout the issue. Each story carries an independently strong narrative that is partnered with stellar art.

Nightwing Annual #1 is an annual done right by using the extra time and page space to help contextualize all the moving parts in the series thus far.

Emory has reached the next stage of an experiment: 'Why' and this question is posed two-fold throughout the issue in a skillfull way that makes for an good read,

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto might be one of my favorite comic series right now. Not only is it very new reader friendly, but it manages to capture two mediums of graphic novels (manga and comics) into one story that honors the legacies of two longstanding staples in their respective industry. While the Turtles feel just as funny, sharp, and adventurous as one would expect them to be, Team Naruto remains as one would expect them to be if they've only seen a handful of episodes or read only the first few volumes of the series. Not only that, but the posed threat helps to integrate these two worlds together in an exciting way.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #3 is a good story with fun action and team-ups that feel lighthearted and adventurous.

X-Men #2 is an action-packed issue that works to provide insight into what the team's agenda is.

Altogether, this issue works well to elevate the overall narrative of the book as a whole by working to further clarify who's going to be the first big antagonist for the X-Men.

As the story 'Phantom Zones' ends, readers get a final clear answer on how the World's Finest became partners.

Deadpool/Batman #1 balances chaos and grit with sharp writing and moody art, delivering a fun crossover that makes the "what if feel worth it.

The first half of Nightwing's Knight Terrors tie-in is relatively successful in delivering an enjoyable read. However, its strongest factor is how heavily the art carries the story along by making a true horror story for the character. That said, in an event with seemingly low stakes, this issue is a good start that ends with a disturbingly sinister cliffhanger. Overall, Knight Terrors: Nightwing #1 is a fine first half of the titular character's battle in his mind.

'Nightwing' #117 is a good issue that ends on a strong note to wrap up a memorable run for the character.

X-Men #8 is an entertaining story, but some artistic choices make the story hard to connect with.

Absolute Flash #8 is the beginning of an interesting concept that further impedes upon Wally's story.

Absolute Flash #9 is a strong issue that re-engages the audience by pivoting its direction back towards Wally while building off of the slower burn the series had taken recently.

Absolute Flash #10 is another strong issue in the series that helps put the series back on track as one of the more interesting Absolute titles. After losing a little steam, readers can rest assured that this series is not going to be held down by its small detour as things feel very back on track. The only question that seems to hang over this series still is the question of whether we can consider Wally West a superhero, or if he's just a metahuman trying to get by. Hopefully this is better addressed soon to understand how this version of Wally sits with the rest of the Absolute Universe.

Green Lantern / Green Arrow: World's Finest Special #1 is an entertaining story with low stakes that fans may enjoy if they are looking for a more easy going one-shot.

World's Finest: Teen Titans #4 is a good issue that depicts the challenges some people face in their most intense developmental years. When we struggle, it's important to lean on a friend. Waid depicts this importance rather well by showing the benefits and risks of opening up to our friends, even when they're different from us.

X-Men #6 is an interesting premise that could have benefited from focusing on one plot rather than several.

Zatanna #3 is an enjoyable read that finds its greatest strength through impeccable artwork.

In the first tie-in to Blood Hunt, Stephen Strange and Clea are faced with an impossible challenge in what to do without Doctor Strange. Thus, this issue is rather engaging through its pacing and action sequences.

Nightwing #115 continues the pattern of storytelling found in this run by balancing the strengths of its pacing and artwork while falling short due to the depiction of how the story unfolds.

Nightwing #116 is a good issue, but it struggles to persevere over pacing and narrative choices that make the story start strong and falter in the end.

Overall, Nightwing #134 is a solid issue that largely overcomes its obstacles. While the conflict between Nightwing and Zanni has been building for some time, this chapter does much of the heavy lifting in establishing just how different a threat Zanni is compared to Nightwing's usual foes. At times, the issue can feel a bit confusing and hard to follow, but it remains engaging and succeeds in keeping the reader curious. As this arc moves toward its conclusion, readers will want to stay tuned to see how everything ultimately comes together.

Nightwing 2024 Annual #1 is an interesting exploration into one of the most important additions to Nightwing's supporting cast, Bea Bennett, that provides depth to her character as an independent agent.

X-Men #9 may be an example of why crossovers are not always great early on in a series, as the development only seems to take shape leading into the final issue, but it does do a good job of maintaining interest.

Absolute Flash #11 almost sticks the landing, but the issue struggles from having too much dialogue without any consequence to Wally or his role as a hero yet.
