If you still have the patience to read this, keep reading just to see where this is going, but don't worry, this is easily forgettable and the only thing worth watching is rooting for Phillip Kennedy Johnson to leave and never come back. The more he tries to emulate the Immortal Hulk, the more people distance themselves from this run and the less commercial appeal he has.

Come back Joe more

Weird Science Jim - May 27, 2025

Nice to see that you support you son, Mrs. Bennett (odd that you compare PKJ to Joe Bennett and not Al Ewing)

sad comics - Aug 4, 2025

@Weird ScienceJim Bennett played a huge role in this. If it had been just Ewing, this run would have sunk into the woke and never been successful. Bennett's art had enough of an impact for people to be interested. No one has been able to draw like him these days. That's a fact, accept it.

This is the kind of book that makes you feel sick when you see the positive reviews it gets on the internet just to attract the attention of an uninformed person who would spend money on such crap. I see more and more the deconstruction they're doing to Hulk and the limitless attempt to bring Planet Hulk back.

The more I see the interior art, the more I ask for Joe Bennett's return. If more

@SadComics Your reviews make me sad. Everything you’ve rated on here you gave a 1/10 lol. Maybe you should try reading stuff you enjoy? @Amoebas Some people just rate on their subjective enjoyment of the book. Not every review is meant to be some objective assessment of the quality of the book. It’s not that serious. If everyone’s favourite comic book was Maus or Watchmen that would just be lame. Diversity in taste is a good thing.

sad comics - Aug 4, 2025 (edited)

@Amoebas People are giving this high ratings, and on other sites, it's completely forbidden to mention it as something aimed at wokeness, even though it's completely pamphlet-like. In reality, it's a woke culture that embodies the void that is culture, and it's not even a woke that can hide it. A directionless Hulk, a jumble of issues that can't escape a bubble, with one person writing days before it's announced for sale, without any ideas to exploit it. It's heading towards limbo.

It goes by so quickly, especially the transition from a flat-bodied teen to a teen with juicy breasts, that it's actually quite good! Obviously, the author doesn't care and shows that promiscuity speaks louder than the loving bonds of her parents, especially when we don't know why the girl has been hated by her parents since birth. Very creative! The pages evoke a brutality not seen in Terminators for a long time, not since Cameron's original film. It wasn't by chance that it was changed to Terminator: Metal; there's still a lot to be told, and we'll still have issue #10. Congratulations to Shalvey! And the art doesn't compromise.

Because of one-shots like this one, which end with forced lesbianism that has nothing to do with the character except the pamphleting of a feminist writer, who regrettably pushed this concept for years (although obviously alienating many readers), she needs to leave Dynamite and go to Titan. Before I point out the absurdities of yet another banal issue, I wanted to know how much Marvel pays its employees? For PKJ to be insisting on this bubble until now, he must only be needed for this by Marvel's editorial team.
