As for that final showdown with Hades, it absolutely delivers, and I'm not sure you can get owned more than Hades does by Diana, and moments of hope and tragedy are also laced all the way through. Absolute Wonder Woman #7 is a triumph and deserves all the praise. Read Full Review

OverallA very enjoyable story. I loved the use of the parable about the princess and the prince who wasn't a prince, and how it was juxtaposed against the real-time dilemma Wonder Woman was facing. This is a style of storytelling I've always enjoyed immensely, and I hope we'll see more of it in future stories. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez Apr 23, 2025

Absolute Wonder Woman #7looks gorgeous, reads well, and has all the makings of a great comic except for a narrative stumble at the end. Kelly Thompson's script shows the potential of what a great Wonder Woman comic could be, and Mattia De Iulis's artwork is breathtaking. That said, a crisscross of ideas creates a jumbled resolution.
