Love PKJ superman!

The best conclusion to this arc will be with the death of the Al Guls. It's incredible how the relationship between Brainiac and Kal is a thousand times more interesting than Kal and Ras.

The issue was good, although inferior to the previous one, but it's still improving.

The parts with Kal and Sol were good; I found the parts with Lois and Jimmy a bit forced, I haven't quite gotten used to those versions of them yet. I still enjoy Kal's writing overall.

Anyway, hopefully the last chapter will be very good and we'll be able to say goodbye to the Al Guls in this book. more

Best issue since #7, less chatter with the Al Guls and more focus on Kal and his search for connections. Beautiful art as always, and I liked the writing much more this time. Lana Lang's introduction too, I can't wait for this arc to end and focus solely on the core of Absolute Superman.

Good issue. Sometimes I’m not sure what to think about this series — it’s slow (relatively little happens in each issue), but at the same time it’s a really quick read. I really like these versions of the Rogues and especially Wally. Having Forte Fox be the reason everyone has powers feels kind of lazy, like something the CW would do. The interesting part is that we still don’t know exactly what he is or what role the Thawnes, Jay, and Barry are supposed to play in this whole story. Another thing I’m curious about is how Wally’s powers actually work — sure, he’s fast, but it doesn’t seem to be just that; it feels like it’s going to be connected to some kind of “reality jumping” or something similar. And there’s also Reverse-Flash, who’s still a mystery as to how he’ll fit in. There’s a lot of potential here — they just need to keep this momentum going. more

He is back! The best modern superman writer is back!

I'm dying for this arc to end so we can have more normalcy and the characters can talk more. Still, I liked the issue; the absolute brainiac is a very scary version of the original, and I like that. I like the Lois and Jimmy scenes, even though it's pretty boring that they're both military in this version. I like this kal(hot take?!) but he needs more autonomy, I think he will start to gain from now on.

Anyway, it's still good, but Ra's al Ghul has to be out of this book. more

Superboy Prime in this issue is hilarious and as always if the story has the Legion = 10 out of 10

Waaaay better than the last issue

Funny, I like the use of Superman's secondary characters in this series. Albuquerque's art is really ugly; maybe Superman isn't a good fit for him, but the parts drawn by Lucas Meyer are beautiful. It's a very scattered series, like this whole thing about kryptonite being used as a cosmetic—okay, it's a glowing green rock, but it's usually radioactive too. The series gave an excuse in issue #2, but I didn't buy it. At least it creates fun situations. Finally, I like how Slott writes Superman's core; I think everyone is well-portrayed. 8.5/10 more
