Wow, this issue is bad. The villains are clones of the Illuminati. I'm so tired of team books having equally matched teams thrown at them. At least with Space Ghost, we were introduced to each member, and then they teamed up for the finale. That's how you write a story. This is just lazy. Members on the cover aren't even in the book. Why is Carnage a member of the Avengers? That makes zero sense. more

I really like Wendy's story. I think Panosian does a good job with her, but with Peter it's another story altogether. This issue at least feels a bit more like Peter, but then he goes up against the boss with no plan. Not sure what Panosian is thinking by taking Peter's hand. There was foreshadowing of this when Smee was talking about Hook. This has just not been a good series overall.

I like the banter between Luke and Aphra, but Chen isn't telling us a cohesive story. It's literally about them going to bars, getting information, and then finding an artifact that has zero consequence to the story. We finally get some story progression. I wonder how far Kirkman is going to take this story. This book is purely story-driven and not character-driven. I'm already bored with it. This was a great escalation of the battle between Moon Knight and Fairchild. Some people don't like that this has become a team book, but I do. Moon Knight is still the leader. I love Tigra as a character, and I'm glad she's being used on this team. I absolutely love the scene where Moon Knight confronts Fairchild with the sword, and Fairchild runs away. That was classic.

I'm very confused by this story. Even Hunger Games had a main character. Here, it might as well be an anthology. In this issue, we have the story of Nurse Pete, who is a very bad boy. I'm really enjoying this series. The idea of putting this story back in the time of teh 1960s and 1970s where Emma was still part of the Hellfire Club was a good idea. You do remember that the 90's isn't remembered very fondly by most fans right? And that Hobgoblin was in the 80's? For being a comic Boomer you seem to have a poor recollection of old comics. Not to say that there weren't good stories back then but comparing the 90's to now and holding the 90's above is a weird take.
