I think you're going to be pissed.
This was not a good issue. I'm tired of the whole "luck" thing already. It makes everything so convenient. And Dean would never give up his car. Here he was like, "Oh, well, let's rent a new one. I like the idea of the car being possessed. I'm not sure if they've done that before. Is this a limited series?

Wow! I can't believe they just canceled this title out of the blue. At issue 10, which is a weird number to finish up with. This was the first Star Wars title I actually liked in quite a while. The story ended nicely, but it did feel rushed. I wonder if the writer knew he ws being cancelled before writing this issue? Oh well. Just shows the stae of Star Wars.

Fun issue, but once again Jan and Jace have to come to Space Ghost's aid. This was not an earth-shattering story, but at this point just seeing the characters fighting the bad guys works for me. I don't see this season commecting like the previous season. Let me know what you think?

Another great issue, showing what kind of badass Cobra Commander is. There is a great scene with Hawk that's really good and bullets richocheting off of Destro's mask. Good stuff. I was hoping to se Hound in this issue, but it didn't happen. Looking forward to seeing how this wraps up.

THE FINAL BATTLE OF THE DREADNOK WAR BEGINS! G.I. Joe and Cobra are on a collision course with the Dreadnoks and whatever remains of Duke & Cobra Commander. The penultimate chapter of the twice-monthly G.I. Joe epic is here!
This is obviously a set up issue. There is waaay to much information here about the Barons or whatever those character's titles were. I kept asking myself while I was reading it, why I cared about any of this. I also felt that king turning on a dime was a little weird. I found it hard to believe that he would just spring something like that on Conan without gauging the temperature at all. So, for more
The Conquering Crown: The King of Aquilonia has gone mad, or so the rumors say. A tyrant sits upon the throne and all will suffer until he is deposed or dead.

I really don't like the twist this took, I feel like the entire run up this point has been for nothing. We followed pigeon's rise only to have him basically destroy the world? And suddenly Soluna and Pigeon are married? I hope this ends soon and I hope it ends happily, if not I'm going to be pretty pissed.

As hope dries up and the gods grow quiet, one voice rises from the dark to ask what all the sacrifice was really for.
I must have a read a different book than everyone else because I thought this issue was trash. Its a tell don't show issue, which is completely backwards. With Batman doing a Grease number "Tell me more, tell me more." I was completely bored reading this with just tons and tons of text tell us the backstory of this character, rather than having Batman discovering it through investigative means. more
Alfred reveals to Bruce the story of the man he’s been chasing for years. Enter: Joker! Scott Snyder and Jock reunite for an epic tale in the Absolute Universe!
I heard that either the title was ending or PHilip Kennedy Johnson was leaving it. Let me know which is true. This was a very exciting issue, though it still bothers me that Bruce won't give any money to homeless kids any money to get them off the street. Johnson is using the classic villains in interesting ways.

The Quiet Man’s murderous rampage across Gotham’s underworld zeroes in on his true target—Arnold Wesker, the Ventriloquist. Can the Dynamic Duo stop this unstoppable new foe before he fulfills his savage vendetta?
I like that Johns focused on Ashley Arden. It keeps the title fresh when you can focus on other characters rather than just your main character all the time. This one has a plot about traffiking children which always pulls at the heartstrings. That couple with Gary Frank's art, makes this a compelling read.

A special spotlight on ASHLEY ARDEN—THE GLOWING WOMAN. Now on her own and off the grid, Ashley sets out on a harrowing personal mission: to rescue children from traffickers like the ones she was once hunted by. But her fury burns hot—and so does the trail of destruction she leaves behind. As Ashley blazes her own path forward, the threads of th...
Joshua Williamson is on a roll with this title. We get to see Cobra Commander without his mask, that's a first for me. I wasn't familiar with the Road Pig character, but he appeared in both G.I. Joe titles this month. Though the character was somewhat different in each title. I was waiting for Hound to show up, maybe in the next issue.

WHO WILL SURVIVE THE DREADNOK WAR? Duke and Cobra Commander are confronted by an enemy they never expected. But the Dreadnoks aren’t far behind... The twice-monthly G.I. Joe epic continues RIGHT HERE.
The feel of the previous arc was better, but I think the story for this one is superior. There is more at stake. Erik the Red is just a dick, no matter what situation you put him in. I like how they are building out the world and the mythology. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Now reunited, the Asvalds journey into the mysterious world of other immortals, seeking ancient secrets about their supernatural origins to help them in their new war. Another good issue. There's some good action here and a further introduction to a new warden. The aracnid warden is an interesting character as he, like Bloodhound has been subjugated by his charges. The whole look and feel of the undercity was pretty cool and the webs being a telepathy device was a good idea. I can't believe this is only issue nine. So much has happened.

The hit sci-fi epic plunges deeper into the heart of Exodus! Trapped in the lair of the monstrous Arachnid, Rook, Dire Wolf, and Matterhorn face thousands of ravenous mutated spiders—and time is running out. If the wardens fail, the fate of Exodus itself may be sealed in the web. Plus, who is Stag…and why does he want Dire Wolf’s father dead?
I think I'm done with this title. I think Lemire took this in the completely wrong direction. I'm not really interested in a year one of the team from the 1940s. After a 12-issue maxi-arc that was drawn out to the ultimate degree, we should have gotten a story with the new team. A contemporary story rather than a period piece. I think I will be dropping this title.

As the Atom investigates the Fifth Columnists, a new hero makes an appearance!Meanwhile, Alan Scott gets some help on a case from Detective Jim Corrigan!
This issue is the best of the run so far, and I love Rucka, but I'm just not on board with this story. I just can't buy all of the JLA's powers sitting in a soup on the watchtower. The best thing that can happen with this story is that the powers milkshake they just stole is completely fake. Let's see what happens.
My Review Channel - https://youtu.be/zk0uW_9bYKw
Infiltrating the Watchtower, evading the security, and getting out with the goods will require split-second timing and flawless execution. What, you might wonder, could possibly go wrong? Good question!
At least this run is not as bad as the previous two writers' runs. However, it's not good either. I am not enamored by this Minotaur character. There is nothing here we haven't seen a dozen times before. And Tim was left out of the issue completely, but at least we didn't have to hear from his whiny boyfriend. I'm going to give this a couple of more issues, but it pales in comparison to Batman & R more
As Bruce Wayne investigates the Crown of Storms, Batman pursues Anarky and discovers a criminal conspiracy hiding in plain sight that will change the game for crime and criminals in Gotham City…and the world!
This is purely a setup issue, and the Punisher only appears in one scene, but I like this setup. The storyline is the traditional mobsters taking over each other's territories, but the fact that Frank leaves Matt tied up to hear their plans is cool. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I'm not a fan of the Ming design; I actually like the alternate Ming better. This is a Mirror Mirrors story and a bridge issue. Not a whole lot happens here. It is more of a setup to the next issue. I hope it's a good one.

The biggest problem with this issue is the coincidence. They just happen to go to a casino that is being haunted by a ghost. A ghost that passes for a live person. Dean trying to count cards was pretty funny. It was a pretty average story.

This is just big dumb fun. I am not a fan of the Titan Serum. I think it's stupid. If you want people to grow, just bring in Atom and Atom Smasher. Or even Giganta. A big superman is just lazy writing. I lvoe the monster fights of Rodan and King Ghadora. Lots of fun.

King Ghidorah and Rodan join the fight as Godzilla settles an old score with Superman. Foes must unite if the Titan threat is to be overcome. As the battle rages on, Lee Shaw nears the completion of his plans to create his own Titan army.
I like this way this started, and I like GL and GA together, but the story fizzled out after the beginning. The dialogue, which was supposed to be banter, turned out a bit awkward. I know this was a filler issue due to the event. That's why I'm not a fan of events. They break momentum.

This is a bridge issue for sure. Not a strong story. I feel like it was pretty truncated. We never see the warden really do anything wrong. The only person that does anything evil is the guard that kills his cellmate. Defintiely not as strong as previous arcs.I am looking forward to Arden returning.

I'm just not a fan of these events, I guess. I don't understand this whole idea of heroes going against heroes to the death to get the heart of Apokolips from the center of the earth. It just doesn' make any sense. Then we have a scavenger hunt looking for items. This sounds more like a video game than a comic. Then Superman's hand is cut off, but that's okay because he kills himself to power up. more

I'm not a fan of the artwork in this book. It way over-exaggerates Frank's upper body. Not a whole lot happens in this issue, but it is leading up to something big. We have both the Kingpin and Tombstone as villains. The body count is pretty high. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I'm just not vibing with the whole DC KO thing. So, this tie-in doeesn't really work for me. The stuff about Lex saying that he can be ruthless where the heroes can't is interesting, but that's about it. I was generally happy when Lois didn't have her powers anymore. It doesn't work for the character, so I'm not really happy that they're back. When is Zod going to come back and nab them from her? more

This story was a big step down from the previous ones. The story made no sense whatsoever and the conclusion was as meh as you can get. I know she's meeting up with Batman in the next issues, so maybe this was a filler for that. She did the same thing in her run of Capt. Marvel. Some of the lead in stories were just plain awful. What a turn this issue takes. The story really ends here. It's smart for Remender to keep the story fresh by taking the story down a different path. That's the problem with Void Rivals, where it feels stale. I think this story is ending soon, but the characters are interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing where Rememder takes it.

Geuggenheim is doing a great job with this title. Where the other Star Wars titles continue to disappoint, this one shines. The story told in a series of flashbacks, with Dooku leading Jinn awry, is a great idea. We know that Jinn can't die, but I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes nonetheless.
