The artwork is outstanding, but the story is simply a mismush of ideas strewn together. Blue Devil is being tortured and Zatanna is in a dreamworld with Bruce and Clayface. The imagery is great, but there's just no story here and no stakes. This needs to be fleshed out a lot more. Some artists and write, but most can't. This is the latter.

I love having Terra back for this book. I'm still not a fan of having Dick as a part of the team with Donna as leader. It just seems weird. The ending with the lava monster seemed tacked on as well, but overall I'm liking the story though it has some pitfalls like Clock King having mental powers that do not match his character. I'm looking forward to the battle with Deathstroke. Let's hope Layman doesn't drag it out.

I remain in my position that Panosian does not understand this character. He's overly selfish and naive in this iteration and it just doesn't work. I believe the Shadow King is a new character for this book. I like the whole fairy land part, but overall this is a major disappointment.

This is a good continuation to the current run by Joshua Williamson. I'm still not a fan of the art or the coloring, but the development of the story is outstanding. I love how Cobra Commander manipulates Duke throughout their battle to the point of killing the professor. Destro notes that they did everything for nothing, but Cobra Commander states how much they learned about how the Joes operate. A good conclusion to the story line. I'm looking forward to the next.

This comic continues to impress. I'm not a huge fan of the art, but Segura is doing a great job in capturing a more gritty version of the Dick Tracy mythos. This story is far superior to the last. The Blank as a villain is done very well. Of course, Patton a red herring was never believable, but now we know that the former police chief did recognize him. There is an error, however. This is supposed to take place in the late forties to early 1950s. Ankle monitors were not used until the 1980s. A relationship with Tess begins overshadowed by the Blank. Overall - Good stuff.

Though I think the jumping from story to story is jarring, I think the artwork and feel of Conan is accurately captured in this series. It remains as one of my favorites each month. This story losely ties into the previous story with Belit where Conan was stabbed with the viper dagger. We have no idea how much time has passed, however. We are re-introduced to the ahapshifter Zula, who can turn into a woman, complete with new clothing. Conan goes on a vision quest to defeat the demon growing inside him. Let's see where it goes from here.

I love Jeremy and non-fans of Aquaman are loving it. That's great for them. However, as Aquaman is my favorite character -- this is not him. Wes and Drew from Thinking Critical said something on their show today that I found very poignant -- this is Absolute Aquaman. That I can understand. I know Jeremy was very proud of his weapon - but it makes no sense. What's the difference between wielding a trident and wielding a sword? In this case, nothing since the blade of the sword has to be round. It can't be edged since he still has to grip it once the prongs are pushed back up. I think the next issue is my last.

I just have one question - Why is this book still going? Why didn't it end at 6? Is there really this much of a story to tell? I'm saying no. Darkseid is squeezing heads, and now we have the even more characters with the new gods - why? Don't know. I'm over it. I hate to drop it this close to the end, but I just don't care what happens any more. IT's overstayed its welcome.

I would call this an experimental issue, but why did it have to be the entire issue? I don't feel like the story moved forward at all. And there are some logical problems with what's going on here. If anyone picks this notebook up, they would know that Damien was Robin. Any normal person would have used a different (fictional) character that Damien could have made up. I'm just not sure Bruce got anything out of this. At least I didn't see any clear-cut clues. I also feel like this story is starting to drag. I hope it closes up next issue.

I haven't collected Spider-man in years, and now I know why. This is nowhere close to the Spider-man of the 1990s with Blackcat, Silvermane, and Hobgoblin. We have to see pages upon pages of Peter going out for interviews and going out on dates and then he leaves the interview to fight the Rhino when he could have made about any excuse. It felt so forced. Then we get a back up story for no reason and rip-off Marvel thinks they can charge $5.99 for 30 pages. This is a one and drop for me.

Wow, A Star Wars comic that actually has two good issues in a row, who would have thunk it. The art work is a little strange for SW book, though I thought they did a good job with Yoda. I didn't like the Jedi they picked as his partner. I thought she was very generic. But overall, I thought it was high energy and created a pretty cool villain. I also liked that they continued the A-story. Looking forward to this continuing as well the new Star Wars series. Glad thepped the price.

I don't know anyone who is even reading this book. I feel like Jason Aaron was just phoning this in. None of it makes a bit of sense. Namor battles thousands of warriors for days by himself only to destroy the throne and create a traveling Atlantis and a council. Aaron didn't come onto this book to write a Namor story, he came onto the book to screw with everything and leave. He's the kid you meet on the beach who sees your sandcastle and just wants to kick it over. He lives for destruction. So, like they did previously with Aquaman, Namor is no longer the king of Atlantis cause monarchy -- BAD! This was incredibly bad.

Another silly issue revolving around Ultron. Now, the Avengers who have nothing better to do, confront their West Coast counterparts and start a fight instead of just have a conversation with Tony privately. Carol's conversation with Rhodey never even gets continued. I wouldn't trust Ultron either with his ability to hide code from Tony. The other Ultron who is still lobbing off people's heads and sticking them on android bodies, isn't even addressed in this issue. It's like Duggan has forgotten about that already. The next issue is another silly storyline about Wonder Man pissed about the guy taking his name. Come on. This was my last issue of WC Avengers. Dropping it.

I like the off-the-wall idea for this issue. It really worked for a Moon Knight. 8 Ball creates a villain gang based off os his persona, where they attempt to steal "science" from the Wasp with hopes of Hank Pym showing up to save the day. Pretty good plot for a comic. The action is good and it's told just like any other McKay MK books. He can't help from flipping from A story to B story on every other page. He's been doing it since the start of his run. I prefer this rather than the constant psychiatrist appointments. Overall, this is a pretty good storyline with his battle against the Asgardian drug dealer.

This continues to be an average book with far too many characters. However, this was one of the better issues. The story does move along, but I'm over the Tower in Hell storyline. I believe he does wrap it up since both teams are reunited. The fact that there are two teams is the biggest problem with this book. It seems as if the writer didn't know which set of the JSA to feature, so he decided to do both. However, Hawkman and Hawkgirl are still MIA. I do like that Yolanda is called out as a murderer. I hope we see some ramifications there.

I love the stuff between Carol and Hal. That's where this book really shines. Unfortunately, Mark Waid claimed her for Justice League. I would like to see Odyssey get more fleshed out. There isn't much to her right now. I liked Hal's entrance, but the Monkey around line was a little too much.

Joshua W. really gets Superman. I'm still not a fan of Lois being Superwoman. The panel where is flying in front of the other heroes, she looked exactly like Supergirl Beacause Lois is just a stand-in for Supergirl. I hope this storyline ends soon and Lois goes back to normal. Absolute Power was pretty much the worst thing that DC has done in years. As far as the rest of it. It was great. I love the heel turn for Mercy. I love Mercy and Lex together and her commenting that they needed to turn a profit. Superman's is like "Nah, Money grows on trees at my farm." The art is good as well.

The art is great, unfortunately this a whiplash issue. We were in the middle of a story of Conan and Belit failing at a heist and then -- Boom! She dead and we are wisked forward in time. I liked the fight with the aligator, and the fight with the panther, but most of the issue felt unnecessary.

The artwork is great and the characterization of Kane is pretty spot on. I'm not sure about taking the story to Italy as I never saw Kane as a world traveler. I like that he accidentally kills a passenger and gets roped into going on a quest he doesn't feel like doing. The action is good and I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I am a huge Peter Pan fan. I'm even writing my new novel with an inclusion of the character. However, this does not feel like Peter in the least. The only character that feels like cannon is Wendy. I was under the impression that people inhabiting Neverland did not age and yet Captain Hook and the pirates are geriatric. I felt badly for Hook as Peter continued to bully him, though he had done nothing wrong. The designs are not very good and the art is mediocre at best. This was very disappointing. I'm going to get the next issue to see if he can swing this around.

The art here is a definite step up. I'm just not a fan of Hayden Sherman's art. I'm also not a fan of the design for Hades. A blue glob just doesn't match the character. We already had the origin story of the lasso and now we get a second one. She also has two more lassos according to this issue. It feels like a completely different person wrote this one. I do like the ending, but I wish there was more story to this issue and not a rehash. Feels like a waste of the incredible art.

The best way to describe this book is "Mid." The art is good. Jim Lee carried his weight, but Jeff Loeb dropped the ball entirely. Batman looks like a complete fool throughout this issue. He starts by looking in the direction of the open truck and does not see Joker through his lenses or even bother to investigate. Then he has to be rescued by Talia who leaves him there, bleeding. By the end, we don't even know what Tommy is planning. Crap writing all the way around.

This is the perfect example of why artists should not write on most occasions. The artwork is amazing and very moody. It matches the tone of Zatanna very well, however, the story is consulted and doesn't make much sense. Let's throw magic stuff everywhere like a Pollock painting. I do like Blue Devil in here and the reveal makes not sense at the end. I'll get one more issue to see if it improves.

This issue has some parts I like and some I don't. I like the general plot, though I am still baffled by Clock King's new powers. Psycho Pirate trying to use Raven to amplify his powers is a good idea. But then he tells her everything. She doesn't even ask him who he's working for, he just offers up all the information she could possibly want. That was just plain silly writing.

Pepose continues to knock this title out of the park. All of the previous issues lead up to this one as Zorak leads the Council of Doom (I think he could have come up with a better name like the Council of Carnage. It's all about alliteration.) With Zorak alive, Jace's PTSD can now be put to rest. Blip is captured and Space Ghost is down for the count. He did take a bunch of damage. Good stuff all the way around. Looking forward to this continuing. I did hear a rumor that this was ending at 12. Is that true?

This was a spectacular issue. My favorite so far. Segura is hit and miss for me. I don't like his Green Hornet/Miss Fury title at all though I keep buying it. And now he's going to be writing Star Wars. However, he is doing a good job on Dick Tracy. This storyline is much better than the last. The Blank is an interesting villain and the scene is the chemical plant was very cinematic. It was a very well-written scene. Pat Patton is not acting like himself, however. I think Segura is manipulating him to make him the red-herring. It feeels very forced. But that's my only negative note here. I defintely recommend this issue.

This story doesn't even feel like a Catwoman book. It feels like Torunn had a story and just threw Catwoman into it. Her whole plan was to get the key, though I've forgetten why since this story has been drug out as long as it has. The fight scene is awful. It should have been over in a single panel. When he clocked her in the head with the baseball bat (or a cricket bat) she would have been out. There is not padding in that mask, like in Batman's. Then he hits her again in the forearm, which would have broken her bones. Then he punches her in the face, a man twice her strength. It was completely ludicrous. Sadly, this is my last issue. I find this run completely unreadable. My LCS told me they only order 2 per month and with me dropping it, they will only be ordering one. That tells you something.
