DC K.O. #2 was another great issue, no punches pulled and a lot of great moments, including one between Wonder Woman and Etrigan the Demon (hilarious and full of rhymes) and two between Luthor and Superman. I want more, and thats what DC Comics has promised us. There are 10 DC K.O. tie-ins next month, including the following battles: Superman vs. Captain Atom, Wonder Woman vs. Lobo, Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna and Red Hood vs. Joker, before we get back to the fray. Since I cannot give more than a ten, I will just say that I had to take a lap after reading this issue. DC K.O.#2 is incredibly intense and will give you heart palpitations as it delivers on the chaos and the action. The art team nails the moments, allowing everyone to get their moment in the spotlight. This story is so unique and will leave you asking just how they can top this next. Read Full Review

It's Superman vs Lex Luthor in DC K.O. #2, but is the story going down a predictable route for choosing its King Omega? Read Full Review
It's a big, brutal thrill ride of an issue, and that's exactly what I want out of an event comic. Read Full Review
DC KO 2 doesn't let up on the shocks for this installment as this event keeps picking up steam and setting up for another thrilling third round. Read Full Review
DC K.O. Issue 2 leaves nothing behind. Scott Snyder brings the battle royale conveyor, which had been so prevalent for years, and throws the DC characters into the most dramatic version yet. Read Full Review
DC K.O. #2 is packed with some Oh $!^*! moments in an issue that is more about the journey and establishing the story and less about the who moves forward in the contest to save or reshape the DCU in their image! Read Full Review
DC K.O. #2 keeps the momentum going strong. It's a “doozy” of an issue with high stakes, shocking injuries, and a central theme about Superman being proactive that feels fresh. It's great to see the creative team taking the shackles off these characters to see what they can really do. Read Full Review
Fernandez and Xermanico deliver stunning art throughout the issue. The visuals are amazing in their detail and brutality. Read Full Review
DC K.O. #2 is a solid second issue that took an intriguing figure issue and will get readers to really go all in for the third. There's something far more here than just a beat-em-up event, and no, not that ending. It delivers at the surface level all of that but underneath, it's teasing something far more interesting. DC K.O. #2 delivers a loud, lethal, and surprisingly sharp middle round that actually moves Superman and Lex forward instead of just burning pages on cool poses. Readers who enjoy event chaos with a real ethical knife twist, this is a solid pick for a limited budget slot. If you prefer your big crossovers slower, cleaner, and less jammed with cameos, the cluttered battlefield and brisk emotional fallout might make this feel more like a flashy extra than an essential buy, but anyone already interested in seeing how far Clark will bend before he breaks will probably consider this issue money well spent. DC K.O. #2 isn't what you think. For all of us who have been seeing all of the tournament brackets online, the who would win arguments, the previews for the next round. We all knew this issue was going to have to explain a lot. So allow me to explain what was explained. This issue isn't a series of one on one fights. We were all wondering how some of the strongest fighters in DC would lose and some would advance in this tournament. Turns out this issue is a [SPOILER-ISH BEWARE]"collect the famous DC weapon to stay in the game issue. I have already given too much away by saying that. But it explains why some heroes and villains advance when they are clearly outmatched in combat and physical strength. Interesting way of doing it. Caught me off guard. I liked it, but for gods sake this book has been going for months now and we still haven't seen one bloody fight. I'm ready for a fight. December ring the damn bell! Read Full Review
DC K.O. #2 certainly delivers on showcasing how chaotic the King Omega Tournament is. Every participant involved made for a reading experience where you were wondering how quickly things could turn when one of the most powerful DC Universe items was claimed. That said, this does not sell the "requirement to add 8 comics to your pull list to read the Sweet 16 round of this tournament in December. A big reason for that is the lack of impact of what happens to the 16 that we lost in this tournament. If that was sold better maybe there would be more of a consideration to pick up all the December tie-ins. But that's why it's good to have something like DC Universe Infinite to be able to wait until DC K.O. #3 releases. Read Full Review
This issue really delivers on the fun, energy, and excitement, that has been advertised for the series.
Non-stop DC goodness that takes from all corners of the DC universe, lore, and cast.
Fun interactions from characters you don't normally see interact.
I love that Snyder still puts Superman at this story's core. He needs to write Superman more, he really gets him!
Also - the ART IS AMAZING. Great job from Javi Fernandez & Xermanico.
Minus points for half of my bracket being wrong. I'm kidding, of course.
This issue felt a lot more focused and easier to understand with all the chaos. I love how in 2025, this is definitely's Superman year, with James Gunn Superman, DC Ko. It's a shame Superman doesn't have a animated show or movie coming out this year for this to truly be Superman's year.
This issue was a marked improvement over last month’s exposition-heavy overkill. It’s pure action with very high stakes, and the Superman/Luthor dynamic gets special attention. Lots of fun cameos as the characters race to collect the most important devices in the DCU, and the ending has quite a shocker! I already collect all the tie-in books, which have all been great as well. This is shaping up to be quite a fun, exciting and original event!
Nobody told Scott Snyder the Flash's ring isn't his power source?
