Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles Dec 3, 2025

Rook Exodus is a tippy top A+ title not just for Image Comics, but overall. The series never disappoints and this arc keeps building to an epic story with no way to predict how it will get resolved. If youre not reading this title, youre missing out on one of the best on the stands in years. Read Full Review

Rook Exodus is one of my favorites to get picked up next by one of the streaming networks. It has everything you could ever want in a live-action or animated story. The heart, the chase, the twists and turns. And that's all because of Johns and Fabok, who have created a remarkable series here! Read Full Review

Rook's attempt to fix the World Engine runs into more roadblocks in this latest chapter. The writing takes readers through many themes. Fabok and Anderson construct fantastic imagery as the sci-fi elements take hold. Rook: Exodus is a mainstay on pull lists for good reason. Don't miss this. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Collier Jennings Dec 2, 2025

Rook: Exodus #9 doesn't hold back on the horror, as it introduces its most terrifying Warden yet. Maybe the next issue might be dedicated to Stag, but Arachnid has Rook and the audience caught in his web. Read Full Review

Comical Opinions - Gabriel Hernandez Dec 3, 2025

ROOK: EXODUS #9 delivers a tight survival setup that should satisfy readers who want tension and clear stakes, but it may feel sparse for anyone hoping for deeper character progress. The danger is real, the setup is strong, and the mood works, though the chapter depends on context from earlier issues to land cleanly. If you are already committed to Rook's journey, this fits neatly into the run, but if you are not caught up, this is not the best place to jump in. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Dec 3, 2025

Johns and company do a really good job of moving the serial forward in a way that is both engaging as an action series and provocative as for drama. Johns work developing. The overall field of the series has been well structured throughout the story thus far. It's been a great deal of fun. The fusion between traditional super-powered action and struggled between animals has a very distinctive field that isn't quite being hit by anything else on the comic book rack today. It's remarkably enjoyable stuff as it moves forward. Read Full Review

Rook: Exodus #9 is a monster of an issue that grabs you by the collar, shakes you like a bad domino player, and laughs while doing it. Arachnid is THAT dude. The menace of the year. The Warden of your nightmares. And he sets the stage for a next issue that's about to go full Stag fury. Read Full Review

Another good issue. There's some good action here and a further introduction to a new warden. The aracnid warden is an interesting character as he, like Bloodhound has been subjugated by his charges. The whole look and feel of the undercity was pretty cool and the webs being a telepathy device was a good idea. I can't believe this is only issue nine. So much has happened.
