While criminals work outside the law, so do costumed superheroes. In Amazing Spider-Man #60, Zeb Wells resets the game board by drawing on classic characters and situations to remind us who Peter Parker is and why he usually wins battles, even if he loses the wars. Amazing Spider-Man #60 ends the series and Zeb Wells's tenure the only way it could, by accomplishing nothing and proving that all sixty issues were a waste of time and money. If you throw out Wells's run, you won't remember it as anything more than a bad dream, and your appreciation of comics will only improve. Goodbye, Zeb Wells. You won't be missed. Read Full Review
