This is a great tie-in issue to King in Black. Yes, it does change lanes with what we have been reading and wanting, but Zdarsky makes this a side trip you'll want to go on. Get ready for some wild showdowns, plot advancement, and a broken man meeting a dark god. Hell's Kitchen is really cooking! Read Full Review

Chip Zdarsky works his magic yet again in this King in Black tie in issue. He continues to add depth to characters that have been around for over half a century while still having them drenched in their history and legacy. Read Full Review

Daredevil #26 is a bit of a departure from the normal schedule of Daredevil comics due to it being a tie-in issue. The issue does well with providing some interesting scenes and horror elements that we would normally not be able to see in Daredevil's rogue gallery. Hopefully there will be some elements from this issue that will provide for future story elements to play off of once the King in Black storyline concludes. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson

Daredevil #26 is a bit of an odd issue. On one point the story does continue forward. Zdarsky works in the King in Black storyline while continuing his story of Daredevil in prison and Elektra taking over as protector of Hell's Kitchen. But I feel myself more wondering what would have happened without all the chaos of this event infiltrating this storyline. Read Full Review

Daredevil #26 is a solid tie-in to the King In Black event that has taken over the Marvel Universe. Chip Zdarsky is able to work in Elektra Natchios new life as Daredevil in a way that continues to drive home what her mentality is going into being a superhero. Similarly, we get some good developments for Matt Murdock's new life as a prisoner serving out his sentence. Hopefully once these tie-ins to King In Black are done we can fully explore all the plans Zdarsky has for Daredevil moving forward. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Jonathan Cadotte

Daredevil #26 just doesn't work. It's main plotlines are all dropped to service the King In Black event, but the events related to that aren't especially good or interesting. Read Full Review
