Of course, this title is about to collide head-on with Absolute Power, as the big event takes over the DCU for the next few months. One thing Adams has done well, along with the other main writers at DC headquarters, is seamlessly seed other villains into Waller's plot. Thaaros and Waller have had a deal for a long time, separating Earth from spaceand now they have the same target in Hal Jordan. Read Full Review

Green Lantern #12 ratchets things up a notch! Great art from Xermanico and both micro and macro story movement from Adams come together perfectly. There's still a lot of story to come, and you can feel. The anticipation is on the precipicethe fate of the Green Lantern Corps is at stake, and it seems like either they or the UP will fall! Green Lantern #12 delivers action, energy, excitement, and adventure wrapped up in a power-packed package. Jeremy Adams is dead set on giving Jordan more trouble than he can handle, and Xermnico's art is great. If only the rest of DC's title lineup was this much fun. Even the backup is worth your time. The action and emotions continue as we are on the fallout side of things. The United Planets have tipped their hand and will enlist corrupt help from Earth while Carol, driven by the power of love, flies to the rescue. Guy's hunt for Lobo is over and it looks like he will be returning to the main story, but things will have to pause for the Absolute Power event. I love the mysteries this creative team is cooking up, yet they play so well with the rest of the DCU that I'm glad they aren't sitting out at events. Read Full Review

Overall, Green Lantern #12 is a thrilling and suspenseful issue that throws Hal Jordan into a uncharted waters and leaves readers eager for more. Pick it up if you're a Green Lantern fan who enjoys dark and trippy stories. If you prefer a more traditional Green Lantern narrative, you might want to skip this issue. Read Full Review
